Thalia changed in the locker rooms and made her way to her gun certification she was 2 minutes late and of course, it was Gianni not that she was surprised. “You’re late,” he said without looking up. Thalia scowled, it was only two minutes she thought resisting the urge to roll her eyes at him. “Pick a gun and we can get started.” his tone cool. 

Thalia hated his indifference though she knew she didn’t deserve more than what she was getting it still stung. “Shoot the target when you’re ready.” He said as she got herself into position. Thalia’s hands shook as she got herself into a shooting stance, the gun was heavier than she remembered. Gianni eyed her over the clipboard he was holding, Thalia radiated nervous energy, “Sometime today StClaire...” he said looking bored. 

Thalia lifted her hands and put her finger on the trigger and squeezing it, the bullet came flying out missing the target completely. She took a deep breath and squeezed the trigger twice letting off two bullets, neither hitting close the target. “fuck” she thought to herself as she tried a third time. She needed to do this or He would fail her and she’d have to do it again in a week. “Come on T... you can do this.” She told herself, once again in position she made her shot only to miss the target. Thalia let out a frustrated sigh, determined not to give up.
