I’m just gonna make a post about it bc I can:

so after that source was leaked, people are starting to say that Parrish’s love interest is going to be Hayden’s older sister who’s working at Sheriff’s department as the article says. And I can kind of see that happening??? I mean it just feels weird that they’re suddenly having a new female character who works at the station and Ryan also said that Parrish might be getting some action but not with who you expect.... and idk how to feel about it tbh?? like as much as i love romantic marrish, i also do feel that as long as they get nice scenes together and some nice moments together, i think i’ll be okay with platonic. 

BUT, that doesn’t mean I’m giving up hope on marrish becoming romantic. There’s still the possibility that there’s going to be a lot of UST between parrish and lydia, and who knows, maybe they do end up developing feelings for eachother but parrish feels guilty bc she’s younger than him? and so he hooks up with Hayden’s sister to try and forget about her? Maybe marrish happens in 5b?

I mean it’s already been confirmed that their interactions/scenes in s4 were pretty intentional and why waste so much time trying to develop all that? I mean yes, it could be for the sole purpose of keeping it platonic but cmon, when does anything in this show ever stay platonic? (besides *cough*styd!a*cough*) 

and just looking at the descriptions given for Lydia and Parrish in that source, most specifically, Parrish: After being mysteriously drawn to Beacon Hills, Parrish has settled into his role as a Sheriff's Deputy. He is determined to prove to Sheriff Stilinski that he's worthy of his trust despite his recent assignments consisting mostly of paperwork. With Lydia's help, Parrish continues his search for the meaning behind his supernatural powers, each of them unaware of the danger creeping ever closer as their lives become more entangled.  the last sentence basically shows that whether romantic or not, Lydia and Parrish are going to be VERY involved with each other and tbh? it sounds like things are going to get a little messy and complicated as well, not just with the danger going on but also maybe with their FEELINGS?
