Net's Favorite Fics of February 2026 (Oops! Almost all Kung Fu Panda, SRMTHG)

The hyperfixation was powerful this month. Pretty much all of this is Kung Fu Panda Po/Tigress so I'll start with and specify the ones that aren't. Mindful Meeting by EternallyEcho How would the Monkey Team handle peacetime? It's an idea I think about quite a bit that this fic offers an interesting look at. Plus, well written fluff of my favorite MLM Monkey Team ship! Woo! Never Felt Anything So Great by SunsetCarnation264 Otto/Antauri drabble which some really beautiful sensory details. Gān Bēi by ngl PO'S GAY DADS BEING GAY AND FLIRTING AND THEY ARE DISGUSTING /pos. This one gets a bit spicy but cuts away before you have to think too hard about how a panda and a duck would do spicy things. Personally I am thankful for this choice but sorry if that's a letdown for you I don't judge lol. And now, a giant pile of TiPo (including platonic) fics...

Fates Intertwined by fenfae This one is canon in my heart. Seize The Day by fenfae Two fics by the same author because fenfae REALLY gets how to write these two. The Ironwood Trees Are Stained With Childhood by Birdegg A character study of Tigress and how her upbringing impacts her later friendship with Po. Brutally honest about how bad a parent Shifu was. Good stuff.

Regarding a Certain Panda's Nightmares by peaches2217 I fucking love nightmare!hurt/comfort. At 2AM, A Conversation by peaches2217 Apparently I am the last person in this fandom to find out about the popular trope of Po realizing he's technically immortal after the events of KFP3. This fic about it hurt me and I'm sure many more will in the future.
