you ever think about stan in Gideon rises? you ever wonder what stan felt knowing that Gideon now has the shack (fords HOUSE.) with the portal in it? that this routine of being mr mystery by morning and Stanley pines working on a portal by night ,, this routine hes gotten so used to is suddenly ripped away from him, and now he has no money. Again. and he can't even make himself useful by bringing his brother back. .. you ever wonder how he felt knowing he lost fords HOUSE. with every momento of him gone.

This shot at the beginning of Gideon Rises is so funny to me. Why is Soos on the pull out couch with Dipper?

If this was the only time we ever saw Soos's house I would just assume that they're so poor that Soos always sleeps there...

But we see Soos's room with a bed in Soos and the Real Girl and Blendin's Game. Why wouldn't Soos sleep in his own bed?

The only explanation I can think of is that Soos wanted to be nice and offered to let Stan have his bed. But Stan is prideful and said no and they're both just too stubborn to cave.

Stan: I ain't taking your bed from you kid, I'm fine.

Soos: Well that's too bad cuz I'm sleeping right here next to Dipper. Try and stop me.

Stan: Well that's too bad cuz I'm sleeping right here on the floor.

Soos: hmmph

Stan: hmmph

Dipper and Mabel: 🙄

I'm honestly really excited to revist this one, I doubt it'll change all too much but I still remember the OG version very fondly so it'll be cool to visit it again. Also, very proud of how this cover turned out, especially the iconic Gideonbot vs Alexandrite fight on the bridge. That's Peak UF content right there.

In the episode Gideon rises, when everything goes wrong. The twins are going to go home, Soos and Wendy are out of work, and Stan is losing the only people that care about him, and the chance to get his brother back.

Tw; suicidal thoughts and plans under the cut.

Stan’s in shambles. He’s lost the only people that make his stupid life worth living. He’s back to being homeless. He’s old, he doesn’t think he can go through that again. So, he plans on ending it all once the twins get on the bus to go back home. The night he plans on doing it, unfortunately, his plans get cut short when Bill shows up.
