Idk how Evie and Gideon got past Nura (albeit accidentally) aiming the full force of her powers at Lyssa so quickly; If Keeley hadn't been there, Lyssa would have died
RENNEDAWN'S STORY WAS WRITTEN ON THE WINDOWS ALL ALONG (amazing plot device that the original glass was used, but the windows were all redesigned, so they'll have to go piecing it all together again)
If Kingsley loses his human sentience, and it’s not fixed by the end of the book, I’m gonna riot ➡️ we didn’t even get one sentence from his human lips, but he’s back!

I am disappointed but not surprised that Nura Sage was gullible enough to trust her ex-husband at his word, but at least she didn’t mean to betray her children (knocking Gideon out though? wtf was the plan with that)

I know it has something to do with love and it was only activated once when she threw herself in fornt if Trystan and stopped the arrow aimed at him and also it happened to be the cure of the Death-Sweet fruit. BUT WHAT IS IT EXACTLY WHY DON'T YOU TELL US ANYTHING ELSE!?!?
Okay so is it just me who thinks the Guard who helped Evie could be Gideon?
Because it would explain why Trystan doesn't know him, doesn't trust him, and yet the guy still helps Evie.
Also, her mother left, as we all know, but what if she didn't kill Gideon and either hid him or told him to run away instead?
If it is Gideon, then did he decide to infiltrate Benedict's lot by himself? Or did he join the guards thinking they were the good guys, and end up seeing the acts they committed (maybe even what they did to Trystan?) and decided to do a little betraying with a dash of subterfuge?
I don't know, just seems like a viable possibility.

I knew she was going to be the villain but I didn’t realize she was always the villain! (In my defense I’ve read all of the books like on release day, in one day, and while I did reread the first two a couple weeks ago, life’s crazy and I just was too excited). Of course Trystan is Benedict’s son, did it take me half the book to realize it? Yes, but the thought occurred before Arthur said anything, and then when it was said I knew. And Evie is the true Princes true love! And I LOVE!
They kissed! They all kissed! Keely/Gideon, Becky/Blade, Clare/Tati, and Trystan/Evie!! Well, Trystan and Evie did more than kiss, but that’s. Neither here nor there! (I love them)
The fact that they broke each others curses (sleeping death fruit, cursed with magic that wasn’t his). I love for it. And the magic revealing itself to everyone? Here for it!
And MARV! MARV NOOOO! I know he isn’t really at fault because otherwise he’d be dead, but aghagsgaibsgahaggajsvsfj
And Kingsley writes with his t’s crossed in a diagonal!?!?!??!!!!! Like the messages to Lyssa. What if. And the “there’s more to you than meets the eye” and Kingsley’s fear that she was going to ruin everything? Agahakdgajafah like he’s the traitor isn’t he? I dont think it’s his fault, but I’m worried. Anxious, I love him but I don’t trust him, I know he cares about the crew, but something is there.
I love Lyssa so much, she sees more than she lets on and I love her for it. She deserves a family like the one at massacre manor. She belongs. And she’s so sweet. And valid. And deserves the world. And Gideon! He’s so funny. Like he’s so annoyed by his feelings for Keeley! It’s adorable. And just the similarities between the Sage siblings. I love them.
I’m sure I have more thoughts like “Fuck Amara Maverine, King Benedict, and Griffin Sage,” and “Arthur! Noooo!” But I just can’t even.
