I was crying so hard when I heard about soojin like did she even get to defend herself in court?!? To add onto that how she begged her dad for years to become an idol. My sooshu heart as well...💔:(...fuck cube (if they kicked her out)
honestly, when i saw the news on tumblr after having a pretty chill time after mowing our big-ass lawn, my mood changed for the worst. it's nearly 24 hours and im still pissed off at what happened. the only time soojin got to defend herself was in u-cube, but that was it.
soojin almost debuted in a super cutesy group but then debuted in a group whose style fitted her the most. even as a sub vocalist her voice is stable, clean, and very beautiful to listen to. her tattoos and dancing skills enticed many, and this beautiful woman even made it to artist of the month of studio choom (the first 4th gen idol to do so back then).
also yujin let it known that clc is basically disbanded. like wtf cube? wtaf?
i wonder how shuhua will adapt without soojin to be her listening ear and comfort buddy. i know the second closest member to her is probably soyeon, but soyeon is most likely taking this very hard as it is, being leader and all (she actually posted 4 stories friday morning at around 5-6am kst showing that she couldn't sleep; this must have been it). she still kept a brave face.
shuhua is most likely taking this the hardest though.
as for me, ive been trying my hardest to watch other groups (especially ateez since they are one of the only groups that make me feel better on a shitty day), but my mind can't get off the fact that this case is strange and sad.
i want to listen to songs that have soojin's voice like i did earlier (before i knew what happened), but my mind wanders off to seeing what twitter vultures are saying.
unfortunately a small handful are claiming her to be a bully because of seo shin ae's mini claim and soojin's leave. people forgot that soojin was accused by an unknown person first, then second, then shin ae made her vague yet passive-agressive statement. and when shin ae said soojin was a bystander but then changed it to her being a bully people went rampant. i don't know, but something seems fishy.
the case is still reportedly ongoing, but instead of letting soojin stay hidden and cube make frequent updates as they should have, they hid her almost completely and let her make what seemed to make a non-proofread statement that probably hurt her in this case. especially this part:
this is what really hurts me. that this is probably what might have broken their case.
so im just more very annoyed than anything else. im sorry for you all other nevies and soojin-biases who loved and admired her. i hope her case becomes similar to wonho and hanbin (b.i), whose cases were subjectively worse imo, where she is actually innocent and goes solo. cube doesn't deserve her nor idle nor clc nor pentagon nor btob nor lightsum nor anyone else they plan on debuting in a group.
burn as well as your shitty stocks and free your groups. idgaf about legalities anymore. morals matter a lot more.
