my best friend is coming to visit today and i can finally give her her gifts !! knit her a miffy keychain and its so fluffy and soft (pics incoming)
I am trying to whip up a gift for my best friend, and have decided to knit a hood for her because I know she loved the ones I made for her kids. I will not be using a pattern, I am using yarn from my stash that I cannot obtain more of, I am not blocking the swatch, and I've got it get it done by Xmas morning because I spend it with her and her family
Having to knit a gauge swatch for a project that will only be slightly bigger than the swatch anyway and also the pattern is knit in the round (no purling) but the swatch is knit flat (purling when I specifically didn't want to purl) and the yarn is a roving style (Malabrigo Rasta) so it's gonna be Slightly Shitty when I frog this stupid swatch and I just WANT TO KNIT A HEADBAND FOR MY NIECE GODDAMN
Did some gift knitting this year. I say I'll only do it if someone wishes for something I want to knit, but I sometimes forget if I get a (good) idea.
I woooon yarn chicken!
Just one more pair of mittens (and a bunny but that's quick) and we're good to go for the holidays!
(but now I have to make the mittens and I don't wanna because the pattern is complicated and I'm laaaaazy)
keeping it pretty simple for cards, but these are all finished and gifting to my coworkers tmrw!
