I am trying to whip up a gift for my best friend, and have decided to knit a hood for her because I know she loved the ones I made for her kids. Having to knit a gauge swatch for a project that will only be slightly bigger than the swatch anyway and also the pattern is knit in the round (no purling) but the swatch is knit flat (purling when I specifically didn't want to purl) and the yarn is a roving style (Malabrigo Rasta) so it's gonna be Slightly Shitty when I frog this stupid swatch and I just WANT TO KNIT A HEADBAND FOR MY NIECE GODDAMN
