Limitless Park Insta-Top 10s: Top 10 Roller Coasters - Editor Edition ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• NUMBER 1: Fury 325, a B&M Giga Coaster at Carowinds. Yes, this seems to be a lot of people’s favorite coaster, but that’s for good reason. In my opinion, this ride is the definition of perfect. It’s crazy intense (especially in the front row), some excellent elements and banking, a few good airtime moments, it’s glossy smooth, and definitely has the best pacing out of every coaster I’ve ridden. The duration is also great too, as it feels neither too short nor too long. When I went to Carowinds for the first time, my main goal was to not become a “Fury Fanboy”. I really tried, but the ride was so good that it was impossible to not place at the top of my list. Sure, some people say it’s overrated....but those people either haven’t ridden it yet, or they’re complete idiots. 310 feet. 93 mph. 4 overbanked curves. 2 tunnels. And a flyby to cap it all off. All in 2.5 minutes. It may not be the fastest, longest, or tallest coaster in the world (though it actually was when it opened in 2000), but it's my favourite roller coaster I've rode.
