How come Jess is the one in the black hat?
Gilmore rant: Okay. Question. Why is it that those who hate Jess, or at least who prefer Dean or Logan or Tristan or Marty so often harp on the fact that Jess liked/loved/flirted with, etc. Rory when she was "taken"? Okay, for the record, I understand the fact that going after somebody who is already taken is not okay. But, why skewer Jess in particular for it? How many times did Luke flirt with Lorelai, etc. when she was taken? How many times did Lorelai flirt with Luke, etc. when he was taken? Didn't Dean kinda more than flirt with Rory when she was taken? Like...you know, stalking and threatening her boyfriend? And, um...Rory did WAY more than flirt with Dean when he was taken. Christopher flirted with and kissed (many times) Lorelai when she was taken. Lorelai did WAY more than flirt with Christopher when he was taken. Logan flirted with Rory when she was taken. So did Marty and Tristan and Finn. And I'm not going to even touch the situation with Paris, Jamie and Asher. Wait, I guess I just did. Oh, and right, wasn't Jess kind of taken part of the time that Rory was flirting back?
Yes, flirting with someone who is taken is not okay. But, how come Jess is the only one who's typically villified for doing so?
Can't sleep. So I'm going to use this time to say how badly I want a Gilmore Girls movie!!
I'm seriously DYING for an actual close to the story. Because I don't care what people say, the series finale was NOT right! I hated it!!! The only thing I liked was that Lorelai and Luke got back together. But I think the movie should be the L+L wedding. Cuz OMFG that would be the most adorable thing ever!!! Gah I miss Amy Sherman-Palladino. And her story. And her overall amazingness. And here's one last question that I'm sure ALL Gilmore fans have: WHAT THE HELL WERE AS-P'S LAST 4 WORDS FOR THE SERIES HAD SHE BEEN THERE?!?!?!?!?!? Yes, it's 4 years later and it's STILL bugging me.
I miss my Gilmore Girls :'(
