If Lindsay and her mother spent two years seeing Dean and Rory walk around in love just to be shocked about the eventual outcome of him cheating on their marriage, I genuinely have no sympathy.

My mother never would have let marry a boy that was very obviously not in the most mature mindset to propose. And at 18?? Hell nah.

But I mean really. Dean and Rory had been broken up for maybe 4 months when they started dating and they dated for 3 months before getting engaged. They were engaged longer than they dated like????

I'm just sayin. ASP made Lindsay and her mother out to be incredibly naive. I like to think my mom would have tried to save me from walking into such an obvious disaster and heartbreak. And she definitely wouldn't have created a scene out in public about how I was cheated on just to double down and make sure anyone who hadn't heard yet heard it from the horses mouth.

Anna says that April built her list of potential fathers from reading Anna's journals from the time so perhaps when Luke asked why she didn't tell him that he had a daughter she should have said because she didn't know if April was his or not. Absolutely nothing against being open sexually and enjoying yourself but to put the blame on him? That he didn't like kids? Was trash. They wanted to tank her character but they reallllllly tanked her.

Listen I know it's a show of its time but the amount of fat jokes from Lorelai specifically as if her best friend is not a bigger woman is just unnecessarily insensitive.

And like? Referring to someone with acne as sandpaper face? 😬😬😬😬😬😬

I didn't notice it the first like six hundred times watching the series but the last few rewatches have had me zeroing in on those moments.

I love my girls but yikes on bikes. ASP wanted to be a mean girl in high school so bad.

Just something to complain about but I had actually been totally fine with the way Logan was behaving in the beginning of his seeing Rory because they didn't talk about a serious thing, no strings is eventually what came up, yada yada.

But when Logan returns from his trip to find Marty hanging out with Rory, he says "if you're gonna be hanging out with Ace like this then we should get to know each other."

Like? Why?

My personal disdain for Marty aside, if I was causally seeing someone and they said that to one of my friends who I actually MET THEM thru, then we'd need to have a discussion.

Dean is so terrible. So so terrible. Rory has a good day and feels more secure in her future after having an absolute meltdown panicking about it and once he's sure she's better, he throws a curve ball and starts questioning what it means for HIM?? ACA-SCUSE ME??

I hate his character so much I'm. Every single time she starts to dive head first into her future planning, he derails her by asking what it means for him and their relationship.

Time and experience has helped me see Dean as abusive as he actually is and I can't stand it. The revival trying to bring him back as a functional character who got married and had a bunch of kids is so crazy to me.

Zack is a nice guy and everything but the lengths that Dave Rygalski went through to be with Lane is unmatchable and they truly deserved a happy ending.

I can't be the only one that thought the parting scene between Rory and Dean in the revival was so sad and sweet. I mean, as far as their relationship goes, that was a good ending. Especially since they brought up the cornstarch. And when he told her to buy it this time. I mean, I was never a Rory and Dean shipper, but it made my heart melt.
