Reason #74 why Rory should end up with Logan

When his family starts being dicks to her, he defends her, calls them out on their behaviour and leaves. 

Yes, he does bolt, leaving her outside her dorm. But, he comes back, level-headed and calm, and honestly tells her that he was feeling overwhelmed. He acknowledges that leaving like that wasn’t the right thing to do, and apologizes without prompting.

Reason # 107 why Rory should end up with Logan

When Luke breaks up with Lorelai and Sookie calls Rory for help, Logan notices immediately that something is wrong, and stops what he’s doing to see what’s up. When he finds out Rory’s car is at the dealer, he immediately offers up his car and driver. He doesn’t even ask what’s going on, he just knows that it’s important and gives her what she needs to get there.

Reason #96 why Rory should end up with Logan

When she and Dean break up for the last time, Logan is kind and gentle. He tells her “You’ll be okay.” He doesn’t make her feel uncomfortable for being upset. He gathers all the guys to make her feel better. He doesn’t even know her that well, but he puts his arm around her shoulders and comforts her, and makes her smile, and expects nothing from her.

(contrast for example, Marty, who upon finding out she just broke up with her boyfriend, doesn’t ask if she’s okay. He immediately focuses in on “she broke up with her boyfriend, now I can date her!”)
