9. favorite smell in the summer? Sunshine on my dog’s fur. There’s something about the warmth on a reasonably clean black dog that smells wonderful.

21. obsession from childhood? Horsies

56. favorite tradition? My mom sometimes makes a butternut squash and portabello lasagna for Thanksgiving that is BOMB. We aren’t even vegetarian, its just a side, but its bonkers good.

peppermint: what's your favorite holiday and why?

yule/advent/christmas! it can be stressful, what with shopping and family and all, but i love christmas music (the ancient stuff in particular, i hate most christmas music written after 1950) and lights and candles and evergreens and snow and the sort of slow-burn of excitement that comes with the winter holidays. also, i'm religious (episcopagan), so it's a emotionally and spiritually meaningful season for me.

green tea: where do you feel most at peace?

either in my bed or out in empty nature. i try never to work or stress in my bed so that it remains a safe retreat for when i need it, and i grew up in the country, so being out in green space with few (or no) other people around is really healing for me.

pu-erh: 3 random facts about myself?

i can roll my tongue. i didn't read any fanfic until i was 27. i started college when i was 16 (and then promptly turned 17, late birthday).

I know! And it was found ages ago too, 1996.  I can’t figure out how it was first observed, but more recently astronomers have found evidence of water vapor in its atmosphere. Super interesting.

Thank you guys!! AC got fixed yesterday afternoon (after the guy having to come three times...) and the house is finally down to a bearable temp :)

If after 10 years, I hate this movie, I'm gonna pull my gd hair out. Like, I'm tired of having every gd franchise and series or cartoon whatever, that I grew up on, ruined. I've had it. So this better be worth the wait. And Hawkeye better not have some lame ass story either. Argh.

Right? And like... I have so little faith in it being worth the wait lol I hate that I still care enough to pay attention tbh. But I love Hawkeye and I want better for him even though they obv don’t care about any of them, but esp him?

Omg! I love that movie. I know it isn't exactly accurate, but dammit, I always get major feels at the end.
