Synopsis: The Enterprise has been sent on another diplomatic mission to welcome another species into the Federation. But with an admiral’s meddling and Jim coming to an ill-timed revelation, things start to quickly unravel. Further complications arise on the alien planet that test who and what Jim and Spock are to each other. Can they survive what happens, or will it break them apart? My story written for @startrekreversebang and the lovely artwork by @stars-and-their-treks! Though life threw a few curveballs and it came down to the wire, I thoroughly enjoyed being able to write this story for a wonderful piece.
