finding foods that don't upset my stomach is like gambling.
i hate when I finally start to feel like maybe I'm getting better and then everything goes back to how it was.
it's exhausting
I am in fact not Celiac, but my gastro doctor said I should try being gluten free for a few months. it's day 2 and it's so hard to find things that are gluten free and don't have nuts :')
it's hard accepting the fact that at this point my stomach pain probably isn't a flare up. it's become my baseline. losing the ability to eat basically anything is something I never expected. I miss my favorite meals, I miss not being so bloated that I look pregnant, I miss not having to take nausea meds everywhere, honestly I just wish I didn't take all of that for granted. because your life can change in such a short amount of time.
don't mind me I just ate w rice cakes thinking my stomach would do okay with that, but alas I am here at almost midnight in lots of stomach pain :')
I hate people who say they want my condition because they want to "l0se w€ight". Because last night I had to go to the ER for a 4 day migraine that just wouldn't give up because I'm not able to get enough nutrients and hydration. so yeah you DON'T want this!
(plus they weren't able to fix it either, not their fault though)

But what IS #Gastroparesis? The word can be divided into two parts - "gastro" meaning "stomach" & "paresis" meaning "partial #paralysis". It's a serious #GIMotilityDisorder, affecting the #StomachMuscles & preventing the #stomach from being able to move food to the #SmallIntestine so it can be properly digested, instead leaving food sitting in the stomach for an abnormally long time, causing many #painful & #debilitating #symptoms including: •#AbdominalPain •Food moving very slowly or not at all through the #GITract •Stomach feeling very full after eating a few bites of food •#Nausea & #vomiting •#StomachMuscle weakness & spasms •#Malnutrition, often requiring #patients to have a permanent #FeedingTube (the #JTube & #GJTube are #surgically placed in the abdomen & bypass the stomach, going directly into the small intestine. Patients often must have a pump & bags of #formula to give them #nutrients 24/7.) Gastroparesis is an
