PART - 2 - dogformers ginga style [PT 1]

I had some designs loitering in my mind so i had to draw em before they'd vanish. So here's my attempt at actualizing them.

Ratchet was the first one - he had to be a big dog. Since his robot form doesn't have horns, i decided to just give him small ears. Technically i could have made small perky (clipped?) ears that connects to the crest but ehh maybe it's better like this?

Wheeljack. Gave him a scar (idk how to draw scars). Kinda looks like someone ripped his lips off, tho it would have been better if it was a burn scar. A part of his nose is gone. The ears were really hard to design, i kept on redrawing them. To mimic his three crests on his head, i made fur tufts, kinda like how the Koga Shinobi dogs have.

Prowl. The ears were tricky since i tried to fuze the crest and the ears. Gahh. Surprisingly annoying was to color the junction of the ears and the forehead, like in what pattern should the white separate the red.

Jazz. He has slightly curled fur, kinda like how curly-coated retriever's have? Gave him a few stripes. Trust me, the visor can stay without falling off... I think.

I guess Ratchet has bunch of fur on his front, to mimic his protruding chest. Well, Jazz & Prowl also have protruding chests, don't they? Mmmaybe they too have a bit more of fur on their chests but less compared to Ratchet. Ironhide is pretty similar in body type with Ratchet I'd say.

they looked very different in my head to say the least. I had imagined some parts to be metal (eg. the dog ears would be completely replaced by their metallic horns.) Essentially creating a hybrid between organic and metallic.

So to incorporate something of my initial idea, i made these alt designs where I just slapped some parts of their helms on their heads, apparently holding in place by magical glue. I also let them have the shoulder pads as intended - doesn't mean it looks nice.

I made their heads stripy. I didn't focus on the body that much, the stripes on the back were an afterthought - kinda reminds me of the Kai brothers since they have stripes. I mostly looked at reference of the wolf designs specifically, so that could mean the two are wolves or wolfdogs. They could be huskies, too. But the breed doesn't matter much: ever seen a bright yellow dog with odd shaped ears? I don't think so.

Whatever, i can redesign them a thousand times. I'm very inconsistent.
