I just started listening to (my boyfriend) Ed Sheeran like 2 months ago and, more than any other song I’ve heard from him, I feeeeeel this song. This was immediately about me and my father. Like, instantly.  

Thank god I actually have been able to move out because I don’t think I could handle it emotionally if I was still in the place where he is in this song: still in the planning stage.
