Katie was going mental without quidditch. The ministry claimed that it would only be cancelled for a couple of weeks and she prayed that it was the case. If it was cancelled for any longer, they might have a riot on their hands. She wasn’t the only player who was upset. There were fans who were upset too. Oliver was devastated. They were still training for matches, but without a match, it felt like she was training for nothing. She needed competition to keep her going. It was the competition that fueled her blood.
So, she was trying to find ways to distract herself. Most of the time, those ways ended in a run to unwind her energy that she had left over. Katie didn’t mind being alone, but after so many runs, she wouldn’t have minded a bit of company. When she spotted a flash of familiar red hair, she squinted, before deciding to just give it a go. “Ginny Weasley,” Katie whistled lowly, teasingly, “Don’t suppose you’d fancy going on a run with me?”
