Grazie per le domande, Giorgia! 😊💖 For a bit of context, the country I’ll be talking about will be Italy.

1. favourite place in your country? The city where I was born and the town where I went to high school, because they remind me of nice things. But also the town where my grandparents spent the summers, full of good and bad memories. And my other grandparents’ living room. Honestly, one of my favourite places is located in a valley in the Alps, with the most beautiful butterflies and the purest water, I love it. (I won’t disclose any of the places, though, sorry)

4. favourite dish specific for your country? Pizza Margherita, basic but delicious; bruschetta, heart eyes; tortellini!!! *chef’s kiss*; Gianduiotti!!! let me stop thinking about food, please 🤣

5. favourite song in your native language? I don’t know why, but I am currently vibing to Luigi Tenco’s Mi Sono Innamorato Di Te. (youtube / spotify) I also went back to my high school iPod gems and I made a playlist of them, ah the nostalgia... lmao

7. three words from your native language that you like the most? I don’t like to say swear words, but I do like how they sound phonetically, lmao. I have always loved words phonetcally rather than what they mean. The word “Delizia” (delice) also sounds really lovely. “Ricciolo” (curl, or curly) also is a word I love. The third word I’m going to mention is “Chewing gum”, or cicles, cicca, gomma, cingomma, ciuingam, or whatever, because every region says it differently and I LOVE that.

Hi! For your animal ask: spider and frog! (Spider - What writing exercises do you do, if any? Frog - Which of your pieces do you feel is underrated?) :)

Spider - I don’t do any writing exercises regularly! I do try to write some drabbles occasionally, but I’m not sure that counts? I’ve considered doing some other writing exercises but. It’s hard. I would rather spend my limited writing time writing something to post!

Frog - This is a relatively new work, but I think carpet burns and carousels (christ you’ll be the death of me) is underrated, especially for how good it is.
