Some sad news

I haven’t posted in a while. The sad news is I lost Bernard and Gispert to bacterial infections. I caught it way too late and they developed symptoms of dropsy. I tried to treat them but it was too far gone. I had to euthanize both of them. It’s was so hard to do but I knew they wouldn’t suffer anymore. I did bury them in some potted plants so I could remember them always. I’m only worried about the plants because I’m not very good with them. I still need to make little signs for the pots for my fish bois. SIP Bernard and Gispert

Hurricane Florence

I need help. I’m in North Carolina and we have the hurricane heading right for us and if we have to evacuate the thing I’m most worried about is what I’m doing to evacuate my fish. I don’t know what is the best way to transport them. Do I put them back in the cups I got them in? Any and all advice is needed.

Look at the gorgeous blue Gispert is. He’s not as curious as Bernard. Plus flares a little more but still seldomly. I got two pieces of mopani wood that are soaking right now. I can’t wait to update the tanks!

The fish boys new setup. They’re in the living room now instead of on two separate tables and Gispert isn’t in front of a window anymore. Hopefully less algae now. I just need to figure out the cord situation and to make sure it stays dry. Any suggestions are helpful! I love my fish boys and I hope they like the new view.
