Wedding au
So like, for Moxiety imagine Virgil’s just like very superstitious and very anxious about accidentally doing something wrong (like how it’s bad luck to see the bride/groom the night before, or have the groom see the wedding dress, etc.) and he does everything in his power to make sure he follows all the “rules” of a wedding basically and Patton just goes with it like a confused little puppy but one of them accidentally break one of these rules and it just makes Virgil freaking panic and Patton just goes to comfor him like right before the wedding begins and through sniffles Virgil manages a weak smile and just goes “It’s bad luck to see me right now” and Patton is just like
Accept my affection this instant
I love these boys so mu ch
Whenever Jamie turns his head, Maxi's breath catches. He can't help it, how could he, really, when Jamie's eyes twinkle like the shooting stars flying past the Westfalenstadion sometimes. Maxi can't look away either, not when Jamie sparks across the field as if the universe itself lies mapped beneath his feet, nimble feet dribbling out every single defender standing in their way. Jamie's just down the other wing, yet, he’s distant, orbiting somewhere just beyond reach, as if he was crafted to be this untouchable—here with them, yet always lightyears away, gravity-defying, a voyager in a game meant for those on earth.
Maxi watches, his gaze tracing every dart and weave, a yearning so fierce it burns through his chest. Jamie’s energy is golden, radiant, and when he turns—twist braids dancing, eyes locking onto Maxi’s for just a heartbeat as he receives that pass from Schlotti—there’s that grin, toothy and gleaming, and Maxi feels it, the pull, that aching desire to breach the distance, to reach out and touch his their star that keeps slipping away. (premier league, premier leauge, premier league.)
And then the ball spins in the black and yellow net and Maxi watches him ascent. Jamie’s a spacer, a voyager among lines of turf and chalk, and when his finger guns flip through the air and everyone chants his name, Maxi chokes on it. The impossible hope that, just for a moment, Jamie might come back down to earth, back to them, leaving stardust beneath his cleats, casting golden dust like a comet's tail. Comes back to them to stay.
(starboy.)
Gitters and hoodies: a drabble
Maxi fumbles with the strings of Nico's hoodie, the oversized ends slipping through his fingers as he curls them in, lost in the fabric. Jamie watches, the heat simmering in his chest, rising up until it almost feels like it's choking him. The damn hoodie swallows Maxi up—makes him look so small, so fucking precious that Jamie’s stomach twists hard. He wants it to be his hoodie, his name stitched on the back, his scent clinging to Maxi like that.
Jamie strides over, trying to look casual, though the knot in his chest tightens with every step. Maxi's tugging at the sleeves, his fingers half-hidden, and Jamie can’t take it—he needs to be closer. He bumps Maxi's shoulder, voice rougher than he'd planned. "Pretty big on you, yeah?" He’s grinning, but it feels like he’s baring his teeth, the jealousy rolling beneath his skin.
Maxi glances up, cheeks flushed, a shy smile pulling at his lips. "Yeah, but it’s warm," he says, his eyes catching Jamie’s for just a second longer than usual, and Jamie’s breath hitches. He nudges Maxi again, stepping in just a bit more, until he can feel the warmth radiating off him.
"Bet mine would look better," he murmurs, his voice dropping, a challenge and a promise all at once. Maxi blinks, the blush deepening, and Jamie feels his heart pound, his pulse loud in his ears, reckless and hopeful and so damn ready to see Maxi in something of his.

And looked me up and down in the middle of the conversation Never felt such a confusion of emotions

Mood: Nervous/ Excited/ Anxious
The wedding is in literally 10 days and I have not been able to sleep in for the past 3 days because of it... I need coffee....
I just moved into my first apartment. It's a little unnerving. I don't want to leave my room, but I know I'm going to have to actually talk to my roommate at some point. Ugh, why do I have to be such an introvert?
