Entering my birthday week 2/3 done with a fitness challenge and learning to say fuck yes and fuck no to things, people, and situations. My sister and I were both born on a 13th, hers in December, mine February. Something that always inspired me about her was her “give no fucks” attitude, meaning she never settled and always stood up for herself and her loved ones. Like my parents said, we all have to live on and keep her legacy alive within us. My goal this next year is to incorporate her fierceness and fiery passion into how I live. My friend @travlincphotography invited me to do a beach photo shoot last week and I felt hesitant because I didn’t feel at my peak physical shape, but then I thought about how I preach about body positivity and self love, and I decided to challenge myself to go. I ended up having so much fun with Travis, and we got some really funny photos in our session, some I still feel self-conscious about, and some I absolutely love like this one. I’ll be posting more in time, but this is a reminder to myself and anyone reading this, appreciate what you have when you have it, life is short. Love yourself in all your forms.
