husband!giyu is secretly a softie (but just for you ᨳଓ࿔)
most people think your husband is an... odd man. stoic at best, aloof at worse.
they all thought it was weird when the pretty new hashira started dating such a man, surely you could have whoever you want. imagine their surprise when you actually got engaged – who could imagine the stern water hashira getting on one knee?!
but they had it all wrong, you see, because with you? giyu was as soft as could be.
there was rarely a morning you didn't wake up all wrapped up in his arms, face squished against his chest. oh, were you cold? don't worry, giyu was pulling you in tight without a word, rubbing his hands all over your back and making sure the blanket was tucked just under your chin. he didn't care if it meant his feet were uncovered, at least you were nice and warm!
meals were always made by him, complete with breakfast in bed when you both happened to have more free time. giyu loved making you his favourites, bonding over food always a big thing for him, but the most important thing for him was learning your favourites
whenever you came home after a particularly tough training session, giyu was always ready for you. "you worked too hard again" he'd say in his monotone, pulling your tired feet onto his lap. "stop making me worry about you" he complains with a barely concealed pout, rubbing your soles with skiller fingers
but of course he'd never stop worrying about you. you were the most important person in giyu's life, and maybe he wasn't the best with words – but he made it damn sure to show you with actions every single hour of the day
hihi I was wondering if you can do a scenario of the hashiras ( or at least giyuu and sanemi hehe ) play fighting with their fem s/o and letting them "win" please thank youuuu!!
— letting you win. giyu/sanemi
⋆˚࿔ GIYU TOMIOKA
The afternoon air was crisp, carrying the scent of rain-soaked cedar through the courtyard. Giyu stood beneath the shade of a tree, arms folded, lost in quiet thought as the breeze stirred the edge of his haori. He looked so peaceful, too peaceful. Which, of course, made him the perfect target.
You crept up behind him, quiet as a whisper, holding back your laughter as you stretched your hands out—ready to pounce.
Just when your fingers were inches from his back..
Giyu moved.
In a blur, he turned and caught both your wrists midair, his reflexes sharp as ever. You gasped, eyes wide as he met your startled gaze with that calm, unreadable expression of his.
“Trying to sneak up on me?” His voice was low, but there was something teasing in it—the faintest curl of amusement in his tone.
You wriggled in his grip, grinning. “I almost had you!”
“No,” he said simply, though his lips twitched. “You didn’t.”
You huffed, twisting and tugging until, finally, you slipped one hand free and shoved his shoulder. “Then I’ll just have to make you lose!”
He raised an eyebrow as you lunged at him again, and that was all it took for your playful “ambush” to turn into a full-on battle. You ducked under his arm, tried to trip him, even went for his haori at one point, laughing the entire time.
“Stop dodging!” you giggled, breathless as you swiped at him again.
“I’m not,” he said evenly, though the small smile ghosting his lips betrayed him.
“You are! You’re totally dodging!”
“Then try harder.”
That was all the challenge you needed. You circled him again, pretending to go for his left before darting right—catching him by surprise just enough to push him back a step. You gasped triumphantly, managing to hook your arm around his and pull.
And to your utter shock, Giyu stumbled.
He fell back, catching himself with one hand on the ground as you somehow ended up on top of him, your knees pressing into the grass on either side of his hips. You blinked down at him, chest heaving, hair falling over your face.
“I— I won,” you panted, eyes wide and victorious. “I actually beat you!”
Giyu’s expression softened as he looked up at you. The corners of his mouth lifted into a small, almost shy smile—the kind that made your heart skip.
“You did,” he said quietly.
You squinted, suspicious. “Wait…” you murmured, replaying the fight in your head. “That was… way too easy.”
He blinked slowly, still calm. “Was it?”
You frowned, leaning closer. “You let me win, didn’t you?”
“I didn’t,” he said, though his voice was too smooth, too careful.
“Giyu.”
“Hmm?”
“You so did!”
“I didn’t.”
You pouted, crossing your arms—which only made him look even more amused. “That’s not fair,” you muttered. “I wanted to play fair and actually—”
Before you could finish, his hand grabbed your chin, gentle and sure.
And then, he pulled you down as he kissed you.
It was soft at first—a quiet, fleeting thing that made your breath catch. But when he felt you melt into it, his other hand came up to cradle the back of your head, deepening it just enough to make your heart flutter against your ribs.
When he finally pulled back, your lips parted in surprise, your thoughts hazy and warm.
“You were saying?” he murmured, thumb brushing your cheek.
You blinked, trying to think, but words refused to form.
“…Cheater,” you whispered at last, cheeks burning.
He smiled—really smiled this time—that rare, tender curve that reached his eyes.
“Maybe,” he said quietly. “But you still won.”
You groaned, burying your face in his shoulder as he chuckled softly, the sound vibrating against your chest. The fight was long forgotten, replaced by a warmth neither of you wanted to end.
⋆˚࿔ SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA
It started like it always did, with you picking a fight you had no chance of winning.
Sanemi was sitting under the porch, arms crossed and eyes half-closed, soaking up the afternoon sun after patrol. He looked perfectly content, which of course made him the perfect target.
You crept closer, trying to suppress a mischievous grin. “You look too relaxed,” you said, voice lilting as you crouched behind him.
He didn’t even turn around. “Don’t.”
“Don’t what?” you asked innocently.
“Whatever you’re about to do.”
Before he could move, your hands shot out and poked his sides. Hard.
Sanemi jolted, twisting around with a sharp laugh that caught even him off guard. “Oi! What the hell was that for?”
“For being boring!” you teased, backing up with a grin. “C’mon, lighten up!”
“Oh, you’re asking for it now,” he warned, standing up with that familiar glint in his eyes.
You squeaked and darted off, but Sanemi was already chasing after you. Within seconds, he caught up, wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting you effortlessly off the ground.
“Gotcha.”
You kicked and squirmed, laughing so hard you could barely breathe. “No fair, you’re too strong!”
“Maybe you shouldn’t have started something you can’t finish,” he teased, spinning you around before setting you back down.
You turned instantly, shoving at his chest with both hands. “That doesn’t mean I give up!”
“Oh yeah?”
You nodded firmly, eyes blazing with mock determination. “I’m winning this time.”
Sanemi smirked, crossing his arms. “You? Win? You’ve never even come close.”
“Then watch me!”
Before he could react, you jumped at him again, fingers aiming for his ribs. He laughed—actually laughed—trying to dodge your relentless attack. “Oi— stop! That tickles!”
“Not until I win!”
He bent slightly, trying to block your hands, but the sound of your laughter, so free, so bright, made him falter. He could’ve easily stopped you; he always could. But when he saw the sparkle in your eyes and how proud you looked just managing to throw him off balance, something in him softened.
So the next time you lunged, he didn’t dodge.
He let you push him back until you both tumbled into the grass, you landing squarely on top of him.
You froze, wide-eyed and breathless. “Wait… I— I won?”
Sanemi propped himself up on his elbows, smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Guess so.”
Your jaw dropped. “You’re lying! You never let me win!”
“Maybe I’m just gettin’ slow,” he teased, voice warm.
You squinted at him suspiciously. “No way. You totally let me win.”
“I didn’t,” he said, tone a little too calm to be believable.
“Sanemi.”
He hummed, eyes glinting. “What?”
“You did.”
“Did not.”
“Did too!” you argued, sitting up with a pout. “I wanted to win fair and square—”
Before you could finish, his hand caught the back of your neck and pulled you down.
The kiss was quick—soft, a little clumsy from how caught off guard you were—but it made every thought vanish instantly. His thumb brushed your cheek, and when he pulled back, he was grinning that rare, genuine grin that made your stomach flip.
“You talk too much,” he murmured.
You blinked, still stunned. “…That’s cheating.”
“Yeah,” he chuckled, leaning back against the grass, eyes half-lidded. “But I figured you’d like that kinda win better anyway.”
Your cheeks warmed as you lightly smacked his arm, but you couldn’t stop smiling. “You’re impossible.”
He cracked one eye open, grin softening. “Maybe. But I like seeing you happy.”
That shut you up faster than any kiss could.
You ended up lying beside him, your laughter slowly quieting as the breeze brushed over you both, his hand finding yours without a word. And though you’d never admit it out loud, maybe this was the kind of win you wanted all along.
This one is soft, indulgent, and sensual—reader is playful, infatuated, a little shameless with her affection, and each man reacts in his own way. The focus is on fluff because the last headcanon was a little rough. Featuring: Kokushibō, Akaza, Giyū Tomioka, Gyōmei Himejima, Uzui Tengen, Haganezuka Hotaru, and Sanemi Shinazugawa.
❤︎18+ 𝓜𝓲𝓷𝓸𝓻𝓼 𝓓𝓸 𝓝𝓸𝓽 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽 ❤︎
Kokushibō
You love touching him. Every scar, every stretch of muscle under his pale skin. He doesn’t stop you when you press your palms to his arms, stroking up and down like he’s carved stone. He only watches, quiet, while you kiss his eyelids—tender, reverent. His lashes flutter, but he doesn’t pull away.
“Strange girl,” he murmurs.
You grin, kiss his forehead, trace down his jaw. He feels worshipped. And he allows it. For someone who’s lived centuries drowning in silence, in blood, the press of your warm mouth against his ruined body feels…dangerous. Like hope.
When you crawl into his lap and nuzzle at the lines of his ribs, he exhales a low sound, hand brushing the back of your head. He doesn’t understand why you’d want him like this. He only knows he won’t tell you no.
ᰔᩚ⋆.˚
Akaza
You get obsessed with his tattoos. You kiss them, lick along the curling marks like they’re sacred lines. Sometimes you take his wrist, tongue tracing the veins in his hand until he shudders and grips your thigh too hard.
“Little thing…” His voice is rough, shaky.
You smile against his skin, teeth scraping over the swell of his bicep. He loves how shameless you are, how greedy. Loves the way you don’t flinch from him. When you drag your mouth down his chest and whisper, “Pretty,” he almost laughs.
Pretty? A monster like him. But he lets you say it. Lets you claim every inch of him with lips and hands, even when it makes him ache with something unfamiliar.
ᰔᩚ⋆.˚
Giyū Tomioka
You leave hickeys everywhere. His throat, collarbone, shoulder. Each bruise dark on pale skin, like you’re marking him. Giyū never stops you—he just blushes and stiffens, ears pink, mouth set.
“Enough,” he mutters sometimes.
But he doesn’t push you away. He sits there, jaw tilted, while you press another bite into his neck. He swallows hard when you murmur, “Want everyone to see.”
Your soft little grind into his lap makes him shiver. He won’t admit it, but he likes being claimed, liked by someone who sees him as more than a quiet shadow. He likes the way you won’t let him fade.
ᰔᩚ⋆.˚
Gyōmei Himejima
You climb into his lap at random, grinding over his thigh or print like it’s instinct. He’s huge under you, warm, unmoving at first. Then his big hands settle gently at your waist, steadying you.
“Child,” he rumbles, embarrassed.
You only moan softly, rubbing harder. He feels your heartbeat racing against him, your body so small against his massive frame. His cheeks heat, but he lets you do it. Lets you use him as if he were yours.
When you bury your face against his chest, whispering sweet things—how safe he makes you feel, how much you adore him—Gyōmei trembles. That never ending flood of tears start. He’s not used to indulgence. To being touched with such eagerness. But he holds you tighter, rocking you slowly, giving you what you need.
ᰔᩚ⋆.˚
Uzui Tengen
You’re fascinated with his jewelry. Fingers always tugging at chains, rings, tugging his earrings into your mouth just to bite. He laughs, indulgent.
“You’re a menace,” he teases.
But when your teeth sink into his neck, leaving a sharp bite over his pulse, his breath stutters. You grin up at him, eyes wicked, and he just cups your chin with jeweled fingers. “Brat.” His voice is warm, amused. He lets you gnaw and mark, lets you glitter yourself with him.
You’re his favorite kind of chaos—bright, greedy, affectionate. He wouldn’t have you any other way.
ᰔᩚ⋆.˚
Haganezuka Hotaru
You play with his swords, fingers gliding along the hilt while he glares. But he doesn’t snatch it away. He only mutters, “Careful.”
Sometimes you sneak up behind him while he forges, pressing your naked body against his sweaty back. He freezes, tools clattering. “What the hell—”
You laugh, arms circling his waist. “Keep working.”
He growls, flustered, but he doesn’t throw you off. The heat from the forge mixes with your warmth, your skin against him. It’s distracting, maddening. But he secretly loves it—loves that you want to cling to him even when he’s at his most unlovable.
ᰔᩚ⋆.˚
Sanemi Shinazugawa
You get hooked on his scars. The pale lines that drag across his chest and face, the jagged grooves on his arms. You run your fingertips over each one like you’re memorizing them, like they’re holy scripture. He stiffens every time, jaw tight, eyes darting away.
“Quit starin’,” he mutters.
But you don’t quit. You kiss each scar, soft and stubborn, until his breathing turns uneven. When you lick along the ridge of one across his ribs, he curses under his breath, hand fisting in the sheets.
“Why do you… why do you look at me like that?” he asks, but it breaks, softer than he means it to.
You grin against his skin, whispering, “Because you’re beautiful.”
That word knocks the air out of him. Beautiful. He pretends to hate it. Pretends you’re annoying. But when you smile up at him like he hung the moon, Sanemi’s heart stutters, and he knows he’ll never tell you no.

(Lowkey be having hella fun with these banners ngl) Also, out of all the beds, which one would you sleep in? Personally, I'm torn between Giyu and Sanemi. It just screams comfy to me.
Giyu Tomioka 🌊💙
♡ Stares at the wall for 10 minutes before moving. Needs tea before work. 10/10 bedhead.
When you finally stir awake, you noticed that Giyu was still laying in bed too. The Water Hashira was half-awake, just staring at the ceiling in silence for a long while to the point you believe that he's actually just sleeping with his eyes open. So you rest your head against his shoulder, closing your eyes. But you didn't expect him to lean his head against the top of yours. The two of you stay there like that in silence for a few minutes before he finally sits up.
"Let's make tea..." He said simply. And you had to hold back your laughter because it looks like he fought a war with the pillows and sheets last night, since his hair is in several directions.
Mitsuri Kanroji 🍡🩷
♡ Immediately snuggles you for warmth, whiny if you leave the bed first.
When you finally stirred awake, Mitsuri had also woken up, sensing your movements. As you stretch, she clings onto you, snuggling into your side as she relishes your warmth. The two of you lie in bed, cuddling for a while before your stomach starts rumbling. As much as you would love to stay in the warm embrace of Mitsuri and the covers, you had to eat, so you didn't die of starvation. When you sit up, Mitsuri immediately starts whining, clinging to your arm. Don't be surprised if she's attached to you like a koala when you go to the kitchen.
Iguro Obanai 🐍🖤
♡ Pretends to be aloof but secretly times it so you both wake up at the same time. Kaburamaru gives you the actual morning greeting.
Obanai had woken up long before you had. Though he didn't get up or leave the bed. Instead, he kept falling back asleep, waking up occasionally to open one eye and see if you were awake or not. Kaburamaru lies on the pillows between the two of you, keeping an eye so he can discreetly tell Obanai when you awaken.
When that time comes, Obanai closes his eyes and pretends he's also just waking up with you. The two of you turn on your sides to face each other, and his golden-emerald eyes look at you. (Totally planned, he loves seeing you when you wake up, it makes his heart race) While he doesn't tell you good morning, he lies there for a while with you, memorizing the features of your face down to the smallest detail. Then he gets up while Kaburamaru softly hisses a greeting at you.
Sanemi Shinazugawa 🌪️🤍
♡ Grumpy. Growls at the sunlight. Probably kicks the blankets off the bed. (RIP YOUR WARMTH LMFAOOO)
You woke up first, stretching like a cat happily. Mornings before Sanemi woke up were your favorite time of the day, as you could finally admire the normally harsh features of his face turn into a soft expression. You rested your head on your hand while facing him, a soft smile on your lips as you studied him with adoration. That is, until the sunlight shone through the cracks of the window and Sanemi's soft and rare, serene expression twisted into his signature scowl. 'Oh no.' You thought. And he instantly growled, throwing the blankets off the bed as he glared at the window like it was the one who killed his family. There goes your peaceful morning and your warmth.
Gyomei Himejima 📿🤎
♡ He's been awake and praying since before dawn even rose. Will gently set tea down for you before you're even out of bed. Somehow, it's always warm because he makes it before he knows you'll be awake.
Whenever you wake up, you're never cold or missing Gyomei, even though he's already been gone for hours before you woke up. The reason? He always covers you with his olive-green happi just to keep you warm and protected. And not to mention, he's somehow in the room with tea, waiting beside the bed. He can tell whenever you're awake because you start tossing and turning as you blink away the sleep. "Good morning, Y/N." He calls out to you in his low but warm voice, holding out the cup of tea for you. (He doesn't make it but the servants make it for him and he personally delivers it to you. It's always your favorite kind with the right amount of sweetness.)
Muichiro Tokito🌫️🩵
♡ Doesn't realize he's even awake until he's halfway through brushing his teeth.
You woke up at the same time as Muichiro. Or at least you think. You run your fingers through his hair as he stares up at the ceiling blankly. "Good morning." You softly called out to him. But you knew it would take a while for his brain to render the chunks. It was something you were quite used to. Spending mornings in bed, brushing your teeth together, eating breakfast together, all while holding his hand. Several times throughout the morning, you kept gently repeating, 'Good morning' to him. Though this time, while you were brushing your teeth with him, he blinked and looked over at you, his mouth still full of toothpaste foam. "Good morning Y/N." He said muffled. You laughed before responding to him. "Good morning Mui."
Shinobu Kocho🦋💜
♡ Already up, already dressed, probably staring at you smugly while you're still groggy.
Shinobu was an early riser and also quite the insomniac. It was only when you were asleep beside her that she truly felt at peace. She would spend all night, curled into your side as she studied your serene and soft expression. On average, she usually got about 4-5 hours of sleep a night with her head snuggled into your shoulders. It seemed like her body had a natural clock as she always woke up at 5am and she couldn't fall back asleep. So she lingered at your side for an hour every day until she slipped away to get ready for the day. She would help make breakfast, drink tea, read her books, and attend to her patients, all to make sure her schedule was a little free so she could come see you when you woke up. So when you finally stirred awake and she was standing there with her usual smug smile with a cup of tea, you kept thinking that you had to wake up earlier.
Kyojuro Rengoku🔥❤️
(First of all, why do they keep making him look more beautiful and sweet??? MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT)
♡ Wakes up shouting "GOOD MORNING!" like it's a battle cry. Sunshine incarnate.
It does not matter what time it is or how much sleep you've gotten. When Rengoku wakes up, it's like the whole world has to wake up. Every day without fail, as soon as his eyes open, he's already hovering over you with a big grin as he watches you sleep. He gives you a good 5 minutes before he shouts. "GOOD MORNING MY DEAR FLAME!" You better have a strong heart when dealing with this man because phew. Before you can even fully wake up, he's already dragging you out of bed, somehow you're dressed, and somehow breakfast is already made??? All the while, his big, bright smile never once leaves.
Tengen Uzui🎆💛
♡ Bursts into your morning with jazz hands. (Also, somehow already awake hours before you woke up). "Good morning, flamboyantly!"
Tengen's wives and you all wake up at varying times. Hinatsuru always wakes up at the same time as Tengen, and she goes to start preparing breakfast. Makio usually wakes up half an hour later to help out Hinatsuru, and eventually, Suma wakes up 2 hours later just to get in bed with you because she's cold and you're still so warm. Somehow, you were always the last one to wake up. But not that you minded when Tengen always woke you up with his stunning smile and his little show of jazz hands. He and his wives all sit in bed with you for breakfast, never once excluding you.

Rengoku Kyojuro
Rengoku had always been the kindest among the Hashira. He had never scolded you for your brief bouts of inattentiveness, never teased you when your face flushed at Ubuyashiki’s voice, and he never once denounced you as infirm no matter how many times you faltered.
With him, everything felt easier. Like somehow, in some way, you were more than what you thought. So, it was a no brainer why you had drifted over to him. Your beaten and bruised skin aching with each swipe of your hands across the gravel as you neared the flame-patterned haori.
The rest of the Hashira were scattered in an unusually curved circle, their legs crossed, eyes fixated on whoever was speaking. But you didn’t care. All that ran through your mind was the inevitable tiredness that weighed heavy on your eyelids; the day’s training now caught up to your body.
Kyojuro didn’t seem to notice your advances though, not until your body flung itself over his thighs. His body stiffened, red accented eyes widened down at your now slumped over torso. “Y/n?” His query came out more breathy than his usual bellow. Which made sense, considering Sanemi was just shouting about Tanjiro’s recent clemency. How was he supposed to predict that you’d curl up in his lap?
“Sorry,” you muttered. And truly, you meant it. You didn’t want to snooze on top of the flame Hashira — that almost seemed illegal. But it was dark, the ground was rough, and you knew Sanemi wasn’t going to let up his venting anytime soon. “Tired.”
Rengoku understood after that, his palms now wrapped around your hips to keep you steady. Your head lolled backwards at his silent confirmation of approval, letting the darkness that threatened to seep through finally take over.
Shinobu was the first to take notice, a slight crease in her brows as she ran through an array of thoughts. At first, she almost said something. But she deemed it best to leave it alone, the slumber that engulfed you more important than desired logic.
Tengen, however, didn’t pick up on the subtlety of the situation. Nor did he grasp the idea of Kyojuro’s eased posture as a sign of evasion from the group’s incessant stares. “Oh, wow! Keep this up and you might get a wife! How flashy would that be, huh?!”
The flame Hashira was never one to blush… but that? That made the tips of his ear burn hotter than his sword ever had.
Shinazugawa Sanemi
Everyone knew better than to step on Sanemi’s toes; hell, there was a reason the other Hashira had taken to calling him the Gale. He was volatile, sharp-tongued, and never one to hide his temper — especially not around you: Most of your interactions coated in irritation and narrowed eyes. So, it made sense that anyone watching took note of the thin patience he held for you.
But occasionally, when no one was lingering around, he’d only grunt when you approached. There would be no bite to his statements, no exasperated glare. In fact, his hand would shift, patting the spot beside him without looking.
It was a silent invitation, a fleeting moment of quietude as you ate together or trained near each other. Sure, he wasn’t one to look at you much, most of the hours spent in the comfort of your proximity, but nonetheless it was… amiable.
And you never really meant to uncover this side of him; the side that enjoyed the comfort of your body. So, when the rest of the Hashira stumbled upon the late-night snack you were in the midst of sharing, you jumped. Your legs scrambled to the floor, nearing closer to the exit.
“What are you doing?” Obanai was quick to hiss at your startled expression. As if he decidedly conjured up the notion that you were, in fact, teasing poor old Sanemi.
Hah, as if that could ever happen — Shinazugawa would probably kill you before you even uttered a single syllable.
Rengoku interjected the Serpent’s bite, hands wrapped around a skewer of red mochi, warm eyes bright as ever. “Come, sit!” He beamed. It wasn’t a suggestion. But still, you hesitated, peering around the table in an effort to read the group's expressions to Kyojuro’s outburst. Obanai’s eyes were hardened, Giyu was turned away… Except, Shinobu and Mitsuri offered small nods of encouragement, soft smiles urging you forward.
And that was all it took; you neared the low table, preparing yourself to be squeezed within the tight circle — only, every cushion had already been claimed. The remaining space sat just along the outskirts, slightly removed from the circle. You weren’t exactly sure if it was intentional or not, but either way, you didn’t mind. You never did.
You snatched your share of the food, turning on your heels to head near the far left corner of the room; but a firm hand grasped the back of your gakuran. And before you could react, before you could spin around and catch the culprit, your body had fallen onto something a lot harder than the floor.
Sanemi.
The wind Hashira, for some odd reason, deemed it necessary to keep you in the circle. And that meant, the only seat for you to take was his lap. Your body went rigid, palms bracing against the wooden table as the room fell silent: Conversations stalled, chopsticks hovered mid-air. Sanemi paid no mind though. “The hell is everyone looking at?!”
Everyone was swift to turn away after that, starting up their previous discussions with caution. And for the briefest moment, you could’ve sworn you felt his gaze settle on you for the first time.
Iguro Obanai
There weren't many girls in this line of work; most Hashira spots taken up by men. And frankly, that was something you always noticed. It was hard not to when every slayer accompanying you on missions were boys, goofing off and never taking things seriously until the last-minute.
You couldn’t even enjoy the Onsen without constant worry.
However, sadly, you weren’t the only one to make those observations. Because a group of trainees had found it within themselves to make it their next mission to sleep with you. They got too close in practice, invented reasons to drop in on you bathing, and even attempted to lay hands on your body.
But you never complained. You never delved into the harassment with the other Hashira. It was normal for you… for every girl. The usual dodging of grasps, the habitual act of ignorance as you avoided their crude statements.
Hell, you didn’t even tell your boyfriend, Obanai. Too scared it would send him into a frenzy; fearful of the possible reprimand he could encounter due to something you could diffuse.
But one day, Obanai had dropped in with some of the other Hashira. They were ordered by Ubuyashiki to review every trainee and ‘take matters into their own hands’ — whatever that meant. And their first stop was your estate.
You were seated on the gravel, legs crossed, torso leaning back on your palms as you sipped from your water flask. Your lungs burned with each gasp, perspiration glued to your forehead. Honestly, you were winded — the constant guard you had up only hasting the weight of your eyelids. And for a brief moment, you let your defense slip. Just for a moment. Watching as the birds drifted lazily across the pale blue sky.
Big mistake.
A shadow fell over you, signaling a trainee who was far too close above your head. “Has anyone ever told you how good you look sweaty?” His lips carved around his mouth, a twisted grin plastered across his face. You knew what he meant, everyone did.
And Obanai caught that. He stormed forwards, hatred burned within his eyes as he clamped a hand on the Hinoe. “What did you say?” His words were gruff, lower than normal. And before he could respond, before anyone could even run; Obanai bent slightly and hooked an arm around your waist, lifting you effortlessly from the ground. Gravel crunched beneath his sandals as he sat back down, settling you securely onto his lap as though that had always been the intended arrangement. “You okay, y/n? Want any more water?”
Your breath hitched as his grip tightened on your waist, the message clear as day to everyone within the vicinity: you were his.
And if anyone wanted to refute that — they’d have to answer to him.
Tomioka Giyu
You and Giyu were the same; soft spoken, cordial. Which meant most of your interactions were spent in silence. As if both of you were too shy to say anything. It was cute, really. Giyu would try his hardest to make conversation, lips parted, pupils dilated. But each time he took in your features, heat would crawl up his neck.
So, he’d turn away. Never daring to look in your direction again.
But you weren’t aware of his crush; in fact, you took it as an insult. Somehow, your brain had manifested the idea that Tomioka had found you repulsive. His avoidance based off of intimidation or disgust.
Or perhaps you did something — something that offended Giyu. You tried to ask Shinobu, seek information from Tengen, even bugged Rengoku while he devoured his meals. But no one had a clear answer, their notion of the situation just as puzzled as you were.
So, the next time you found yourself in the presence of the water Hashira, you were going to ensure you spoke to him. If you did do something, the least you could do is apologize. And fortunately, that moment came quite soon. Because all the Hashira had gathered near the pond at Ubuyashiki’s estate, voices low but serious as they discussed missions and recruitment.
You, however, had your sights set elsewhere: Giyu. You observed as he sat apart from the others, back resting against the rough bark of a tree, his sword laid carefully within reach. His gaze drifted anywhere but toward the group — and certainly not toward you. Which worked in your favor.
Well, it would have. If you hadn't slipped.
You tumbled forward, arms outstretched to brace yourself for the impact. But you didn’t hit the ground, nor did you hit the tree. Somehow, in some way, your body had toppled into Giyu’s lap, fingers latched to his haori, legs tangled around either side of his thighs. It was a peculiar position to find yourself in. One that made your eyes expand and a string of apologies escape your lips.
“I’m so sorry — I didn’t, I mean—” you were failing miserably to form any coherent sentence.
Giyu didn’t answer, though. Instead, he simply stared at you, eyes wide in a way few had ever seen. He was not a man fond of sudden touch, especially not anything that resembled closeness. And yet, when you shifted, prepared to rip your skin away from his, Giyu grasped your hips, tugging you back down into your previous spot.
He knew the others would notice soon, knew whispers would follow, knew Sanemi would spill statements that would have his face flushed. But right now, none of that mattered. All that ran through his mind was the beat of his heart, the way your warmth melted into him, and how cold it felt when you tried to leave.
“Stay,” he muttered, voice low and almost unrecognizable in its quiet urgency. And for once, he didn’t look away.
Uzui Tengen
You weren’t really sure why you were so drawn to the man. Maybe it was because of his strength, the way his towering frame made you feel protected. Or perhaps it was due to the notion that he always praised you on every flashy thing you did. Either way, you had found yourself in constant orbit around the poor Hashira.
But Uzui didn’t mind. In fact, he loved it. He adored the way your presence trailed after him like a shadow. And if you weren’t there, if you were away on a mission — something felt missing. A space at his side that no one else filled quite right. You had become a routine for him. And whether he liked it or not, he needed you.
You hadn’t been gone long this time. Just two days beyond the estate walls. To Tengen, though, it felt like a lifetime. He counted the hours, watched the gates more than he listened to the conversation unfolding among the other Hashira. Voices drifted in every direction, but he barely registered them. His eyes remained fixed forward.
He waited; Imagined the cruelty you probably endured, the injuries you most likely would wander in with. And then it happened, the quick and uninviting thought of you lifeless, your body ravaged by demons. Tengen could’ve shouted right then and there to get that image out of his head.
But then you came.
Your body strided through the gates, dirt smeared along your arms, shallow cuts lining your legs, uniform torn at the hem. Frankly, you looked like a mess. As if you were thrown into a mile of ragged bushes. Tengen’s breath hitched, his posture quick to be up on his feet.
Maybe it was because of your injuries… or maybe it was because the thought of your death popped horridly in his brain. But he caught you, pulling you down onto his lap without hesitation. “Are you alright, y/n?” His thumb ran along the long cut of your leg. “You were only gone two days, what happened?”
It was clear the others were watching, taking in the rare sight of Uzui being anything less than extravagant. “Something unflashy.” His ears perked at that, the usual tilt of his smirk slowly returning. You were always one to joke, even in moments like this. Especially in moments like this. And right now? He needed that. Just like he needed you.
“Oh?” he questioned, fingers delving under the torn fabric of your gakuran. “Unflashy?
You hummed in response. “Mhm. And the flamboyance you stupidly bestowed on me no doubt won.”
a/n: hello again! thank you for reading all the way through ♡ If anyone has some fun one-shot ideas I should write (jjk, haikyuu, demon slayer, etc) please let me know - would love to do that.
ive been reading your stuff more recently and i just love the way you write could you maybe write something for giyuu and sanemi with a reader who is shy during sex and is constantly putting their face in their neck and chest to like hide their face and noises?
𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒 : You keep hiding your face, too shy to meet their eyes… but they’re not having it. Two very different men, one same goal : make you realize you don’t need to hide from love.
𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 : OHH MY GAHHHHHH that is SOOO CUTEE !!! Although I have to say, I don’t write NSWF often, so it’s going to be very light and not too detailed !! I'll leave the rest to y’all imagination lol ! However, since it’s still light nswf, I'd ADVISE minors to DNI ! But it’s quite comical and a bit dumb I think, (since I am one myself 😭). But anyway haha, I shall serve so….
Here we go….
𝐆𝐈𝐘𝐔𝐔 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐎𝐊𝐀 ༄ 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
NOTICES RIGHT AWAY
He'd gently stop any movement when he notices you hiding .
He'd kiss your hands away when you try to hide
Not forcing just gentle.
Always giving you the time to stop him or push him away if it makes you uncomfortable.
Unsurprisingly that bby would think your shyness has to do with him.
"Am I unpleasant to look at...?" (THIS BBY OMGG kiss him)
When you tell him that it's not that, you don't miss how his whole body seems to sag in relief.
"Don't muffle your sounds please...You sound pretty, really pretty."
He'd blush himself all the way through that baby making session (iykwim...)
Would plant gentle kisses on your shoulder to gently coax you out of hiding in his neck.
When honestly he doesn't mind that much.
If you're more comfortable like this, it's YOUR comfort above anything else.
But a part of him also genuinely just wants to see you completely.
To see how you react to his touches, kisses and more...
"I love hearing you...I really do."
Peppers your body with kisses, starting from your belly to your top until you feel comfy again. (AGHHH I'm screaming at my own writing!!)
He'll mutter through kisses how much you're doing well and that there's nothing to be embarrassed abt !
𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐈 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐙𝐔𝐆𝐀𝐖𝐀 ⋆.˙༄.°
Also notices right away!
His movements stilling almost abruptly, but careful not to hurt you.
"HEY, why are you hidin' for…?"
He'd never admit it but he does find it really cute.
When he sees how embarrassed you are, his eyes instantly softens.
"Y..You can stay like that if you want, but at least let me hear you..."
He'd say with a faint blush ardoring his face, looking away as if trying to hide it. (he's a tsundere idc what anyone says)
He resorts to gentle caresses, trying to shift your focus to his touch rather than your embarrassment.
"You don’t have to be embarrassed y'know…not when we’re like this."
I can picture him teasingly pinching you whenever he feels you hiding back in his chest/neck (very lightly no worries lol not hard enough to hurt)
A gentle sign to remind you that there’s no need to hide…not with him.
He'd eventually just want you to look in his eyes and not break eye contact.
His gaze tender and loving, nothing close to the hothead Hashira everyone knows
⋆˚✿˖° Hiiii !!! How are u all ? That was the sweetest request I've ever worked on !! While I'm not fully comfortable writing NSWF, I genuinely impressed myself with this one !! No roughness or crazy topics ik, it's all softness here lol. And if you're still wondering → NO, you'll never see rough or degrading NSWF (even kinky) posts on my page ! All softness, always ! Hope you guys liked this one !!! Sending lots of love, xoxo ⋆˚✿˖°

⤷ featuring. giyuu tomioka
the sun was setting, and giyuu’s home glowed with that sleepy kind of light that made everything feel slow and gentle. you were sprawled on the tatami floor, chin resting on your arms, while giyuu sat near the open window quietly cleaning his sword.
he worked in silence, wiping the blade with careful precision, the fading light glinting against it. you watched him, bored but curious, tracing patterns on the floor with your finger.
“you’re quiet today,” you said after a while, turning your head toward him.
“i’m always quiet,” he replied, tone steady, eyes still on his sword.
“yeah, but today you’re, like... extra quiet,” you teased. “that’s suspicious.”
he didn’t even glance up. “you talk too much.”
you gasped dramatically, pretending to be offended. “rude.”
then, because patience had never been your strong suit, you shuffled a little closer — inch by inch until you were sitting right beside him. giyuu sighed softly, sensing your presence, but didn’t move away.
you peeked over his shoulder. “wow, it’s so shiny. you’re really careful with it.”
“it’s a weapon,” he said simply.
“yeah, but it’s pretty.”
he looked at you then, briefly, like he wanted to argue but didn’t have the energy. his gaze dropped back to the sword, but not before he noticed how close you were leaning — close enough that a few strands of your hair brushed his sleeve.
“you’re sitting very close,” he muttered.
“am i?” you said, pretending to think. then, with absolutely no hesitation, you flopped forward and laid across his stomach.
his entire body went rigid. the sword clinked lightly against its sheath as he froze in place.
“...what are you doing,” he asked, voice flat but betraying a hint of confusion.
“you looked comfy,” you mumbled, cheek pressed against him. “and i’m tired.”
“you can’t just—” he started, then stopped. his heartbeat felt loud — way too loud. he didn’t even know what to do with his hands. one hovered awkwardly midair before falling uselessly to his side.
“you’re warm,” you murmured, snuggling in like it was the most natural thing ever.
he exhaled slowly, as if trying to regain composure. “you’re... invading my personal space.”
“mmm. but you’re not stopping me.”
his mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. and then, for reasons even he didn’t understand, his hand moved — tentatively, gently — to rest against your back.
“fine,” he muttered, looking away. “just... don’t fall asleep here.”
“no promises,” you whispered, already sounding half-asleep.
he sighed again, quieter this time. he could have pushed you off, but he didn’t. instead, he sat there, the weight of you warm against him, the air heavy with sunlight and the faint smell of rain from earlier that day.
his sword lay forgotten beside him, polished and perfect — but his heart felt anything but steady.
and as the room filled with the sound of your soft breathing, giyuu realized something strange.
he didn’t actually want to move.

𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓻𝓮𝓺𝓾𝓮𝓼𝓽!
My Asks are still open by the time you requested @blu3chuubliss soooo, lemme give you a short glimpse on this scene. 💓
The wedding was small and peaceful, just as Giyu had intended it to be. Peace was the only thing that could be found after the battle, after the blood and the long night that had almost engulfed the entire world.
His haori hung nicely around his shoulders as he stood in front of the shrine. As a subtle reminder of the cost he had incurred in the fight against Muzan, his right sleeve was pinned flat against the cloth, now empty. Once long enough to cascade about his face, his hair had been chopped off. The sharpness of his jawline and the serene intensity of his stare were exposed by the minimalist style, which strangely made him appear even more striking.
And still, he looked uneasy.
Even when no one mentioned it, he could sense the silent pity and the way people's gazes lingered on his missing arm, which bothered him. A part of him feared that you might view him differently on this day of all days, even though he had never given any thought to appearance before.
Then he heard the sound of your footsteps approaching, soft but steady, and everything else faded.
Your hands trembled a little as you approached him in your bridal kimono, the silk glinting in the sunlight. The warmth in your eyes, more than the clothing or the well-groomed hair, was what made you so beautiful. Eyes that stared at him, at him alone, as if no one else in the world had ever been worthy of such a look.
His throat tightened.
When you stopped in front of him, he lowered his head slightly and murmured, low enough for only you to hear.
“You shouldn’t look at me like that. Not when I’m… like this.”
You blinked, then reached out, placing your hand over his chest where his heart beat steady and strong. “Like what? Alive? Breathing? Mine?”
At your words, a dam that had been held in place for years began to loosen. His scarred and calloused fingers curled softly around yours as if they were terrified of breaking something valuable.
The ceremony flowed in slow, thoughtful steps. Promises made without haste but with a weight that is rooted in your bones, and vows made in silence. Grand speeches and an audience limited to surviving close friends were absent. Simply two individuals connecting their lives in the most profound and basic way.
Giyu leaned down and kissed your forehead as the priest pronounced you husband and wife. It contained everything he had never been able to express out loud, but it was not a spectacular kiss or the kiss of storybooks. A promise to keep you safe. a promise to stick around. A promise to love.
The reception was subdued but warm, filled with laughter from those who remained. All the shadows seemed to vanish from the shrine as Tanjiro's smile illuminated it. As she shouted for you both, Nezuko nearly lit up as she clasped her hands in joy. Meanwhile, Zenitsu sobbed uncontrollably and babbled about how lovely everything was. Inosuke simply yelled that there wasn't enough food and asked for seconds, but his big smile made it clear.
With a shy bow, Kanao approached in silence, holding a delicate bouquet of wisteria. Her gaze lingered on you with a soft tenderness, then shifted momentarily to Giyu, who bowed his head in silent appreciation.
Even Sanemi, gruff and scowling, lifted his cup in acknowledgement. “Didn’t think you had it in you, Tomioka,” he muttered, though there was no real bite behind the words.
Later, however, when the food had been eaten and the guests had started to disperse, you discovered Giyu sitting outside, away from the commotion. The cicadas in the trees were singing sweetly in the cold evening air. He sat looking up at the twilight sky while his haori was slung over his shoulders.
You lowered yourself next to him and rested your head lightly on his shoulder. He remained where he was and did not stiffen as he occasionally did. Instead, his cheek caressed your hair as he cocked his head slightly.
“You left the party early,” you teased softly.
“I don’t belong in crowds,” he murmured, but his voice lacked its usual heaviness. There was a gentleness there, an ease that hadn’t existed months ago.
Your hand drifted down almost effortlessly, resting on your stomach. The gesture was not evident, but he noticed. He never failed to notice.
His gaze followed, resting on the curvature of your hand against your belly. His single hand rose slowly and gently, as if he was scared of breaching a barrier. When you turned your palm forward to meet his, he sighed, a subtle tremor going through his body as his palm rubbed against yours over the delicate bulge in your tummy.
“It still doesn’t feel real,” he said, voice low and rough. “That I get this. That you’re carrying my child.”
You shifted closer, threading your fingers through his. “Then let me remind you as often as I need to. You deserve this happiness, Giyu. We both do.”
For a long moment, he didn’t answer. His jaw tightened, his eyes fixed on your joined hands. Then, quietly:
“I’ll protect you both. With everything I have left.”
Your throat tightened at the weight in his voice. “I know you will.”
And for the first time in what seemed like an eternity, you noticed it: the smallest smile tugging on his lips. It was little, ephemeral, and real. Enough to get your heart racing.
The war had taken away so much from him: his arm, his colleagues, and his peace of mind. But when the night fell over you both, you realised it had also given him something. The future. A family. An opportunity to be loved completely, just as he was.
“Giyu,” you interrupted gently, “trust yourself. Our baby deserves to know their father’s arms.”
You moved cautiously, guiding the little bundle towards him. His palm trembled as he stretched it, slipping under the baby's weight with unexpected ease. The infant moved, letting out a little whimper before settling back against his chest.
Giyu froze. Then he looked down.
Everything changed.
His eyes softened in a way you'd never seen before, and a peaceful wonder enveloped every shade in him. He bowed his head slightly, his black hair brushing against the baby's tiny forehead, and for a brief time, he didn't resemble the Water Hashira or the man who had carried generations of pain. He seemed like a father.
“Hello,” he whispered, his voice breaking as though the word itself carried more weight than he could bear. “I’m here. I’ll always be here.”
Tears ran down your cheeks at the sight and sound. He looked at you, and for once, there was no obstacle between you—only raw, unrestrained love.
For the first time, Giyu smiled fully and honestly, as if the universe had finally allowed him to.
