Gizela leaned back against the remains of a brick wall, her hand running through her hair she had just let down. A small sigh slipped past her smirking lips.
"You almost made me break a sweat that time" she commented in a condescending tone.
"Again." Allyson growled as she glared up at her sparring partner.
"What's the point Ally. You're not going to beat me without your gear or your abilities. I'm not even thinking about absorbing your blows and you havent so much as bruises me yet. This equal footing fight is pointless." She had clearly grown tired of entertaining Allyson's ideas. "You're weak. That's all there is to it and if you think beating me without your powers might give you an edge against the Shadow, you're just wasting both out times. I'm going back to the base."
Before Gizela had a chance to move, the smell of smoke assaulted her nose. Her eyes moved from Allyson's glare down to her hand. The grass around it had been burnt into a small brown patch, quickly turning black. Smoke began rising off her arm.
"I said again." Allyson growled at her through gritted teeth. The anger in her eyes making it clear it wasn't optional. Gizela couldn't help but smile as things seemed to be about to get interesting.
FINALLY finished this piece, the background colour and line work took about 3 hours last night. Still not overly happy with the perspective but it is what it is yknow? Been awhile since I've used coloured pencil, figured I'd give it a go so yeah here we are.
