Random Sims 2 Headcanons I have (Strangetown Edition).
My HC's change all the time depending on gameplay or what I'm writing, but these are most consistent ones I have.
Ophelia would be an excellent medium. But she just wants to avoid all the ghosts and stuff so suppresses her abilities. The ghosts follow her anyway and Olive would have even trained her if she wanted. (This one's from before TS4 Life and Death was released, but kinda just reinforced the idea.)
Johnny and Pol are tall... Like 6ft6 tall. Alien genetics or something, I don't know... the vibes just fit. They just have tall people energy and being green AND tall, they stick out in a crowd which adds to Johnny's storyline of not fitting in.
The Grunts, Buzz, Tank and adult Buck are like 6ft-6ft2. Ripp is scrapping by at 5ft10. Again this is based on vibes. (And yes Johnny calls Tank short all the time, and yes Tank hates it.)
Johnny and Ripp refer to each other as Jonathan and Rippert all the time. Rippert is Ripp's full name, but Johnny is just Johnny. It's like an inside joke, but not one Ripp is fond of as he hates his full name.
Tank's name is due to his parents being indecisive after he was born, they couldn't decide on a name for him. He was a big baby so Lyla jokingly called him her "little Tank" and the name just stuck. Tank hates that it's not actually related to his family's military legacy, but he's still a mommy's boy at heart so has mixed feelings about it overall.
Johnny is a full academic year ahead of Ophelia and Tank, and Ripp is another academic year behind them. So if Johnny's a senior, Ophelia and Tank are juniors and Ripp is a sophomore. Johnny was born in June '86, Ophelia in Sept '86, Tank in Dec '86 and Ripp in Nov '87. I don't know how the Sims school system works but where I'm from in the real world that would spread them out over 3 year groups (holy crap they're all nearly 40!)
Lazlo refers to anyone younger than him as lil' [insert name here]. E.g. Lil' Johnny. Lil' Jill. Lil' Tycho. He started doing it as a joke but now can't stop.
Buzz doesn't hate all aliens, he specifically hates PT#9 (in my mind that makes him losing a fight with Pol way funnier.) Tank hates Johnny because his dad hates Pol (but it's not funny, it's a little more like Tank not being out and proud thing. Johnny's a good looking guy so there's some inner conflict there.)
Lola and Chloe 100% know who their alien dad is. They just don't care because Glabe raised them (the queen Glabe is).
Nervous doesn't want to escape the Beakers. He's there as part of a contract for them. They run tests at his physical expense. He is financially compensated for his suffering hence him having his own computer and things. He can even end the contract and leave at any time (provided he doesn't die first).
Johnny and Ophelia have the healthiest relationship in town after Pol and Jenny.
Ripp has the romance aspiration because he saw what happened to his parents and decided he wanted none of that for himself (attachment issues much?)
Loki Beaker and Dominic Newlow HATE each other. They're two (intelligent?) goal driven men with plans for greatness and unethical ways of achieving it. (And this isn't factoring in Circe's affair. Which definitely added fuel to the fire.)
Olive Specter is definitely a serial killer, BUT she did not kill Willow and Creon Nigmos. After losing Nervous/Nyon the last thing she wanted was another kid to look after. I feel Olive has a unwritten rule about not killing blood relatives, any fear Ophelia has about Olive is purely paranoia.
Thank you for reading it you made it this far, I've been in two minds about posting this giving that I'm new-ish to Simblr and I know other headcanons are more popular/well established.
