I'd say it's not often I self-promote... But when I first started publishing on AO3, I took myself a little too seriously... I'm not finding all those posts to delete them, just know they're there...
Despite how many Sims fans there are, there are fewer than 2000 fanfics for it, so I've done a little work to make that number a touch bigger and wanted to share some of the projects I've been working on over the last few months.
Fics set in Strangetown are Green, and those set in Pleasantview are Red.
Stranger Still (Ongoing)
For two years, the Smith family has been missing, taken in a covert Division 47 operation that no one will speak about.
Long before their disappearance, Ophelia had been secretly hiding in the Meeting House, watching Ripp from the shadows as he and Tank slowly uncover how deeply they’re caught in their father's cover‑up. When a prank spirals out of control, and an unauthorised visit takes place, Buzz suspends Loki and Lazlo from the Science Department, leaving Loki furious and Lazlo adrift.
Ophelia finally steps out of hiding and is joined by Ripp and, eventually, Tank, determined to free the Smiths, especially Johnny. At the same time, Loki races to expose Dominic Newlow’s plan to seize control of Strangetown through manipulation and mind‑altering tech, only for Lazlo to be dragged back into Loki’s orbit by a dangerous twist.
When Newlow betrays Buzz as well, former colleagues collide, forced into an uneasy alliance to take revenge on Newlow and stop his takeover before Strangetown loses its freedom forever.
A Pleasant Rise and Fall (Complete - 21 Chapters - 45,962 words)
In the 1980s, Pleasantview's golden boy, Daniel, notices the ambitious Mary-Sue for the first time. After several unsuccessful encounters, Daniel realises he can't treat her the same way he's treated girls in the past.
Their awkward encounters turn into first love, then marriage, then a life built around raising very different twin daughters and meeting the unfair expectations they placed upon themselves. But as Mary-Sue's work becomes all-consuming and Daniel feels increasingly overlooked at work and home, old insecurities resurface. Daniel's internal struggle with feelings of neglect and desire for validation drives his actions, including the affair that threatens everything they built.
Meanwhile, Daniel’s sister Jennifer quietly falls for steady, dependable John Burb, their slow‑burn romance growing into the stable marriage Daniel wishes he still had.
Fault Lines (Ongoing)
We all think we know the story of Buzz and Lyla Grunt. How she walked out in the middle of the night, never to return. But how did they get there? How did the serious, grouchy General Buzz Grunt marry the outgoing, playful Lyla Vandermorgan? Where did things start going so wrong that one of the most kind-hearted, loving women you'll ever meet felt the need to walk out on her family? Through alternating perspectives, we explore the possibility that Buzz wasn't always the cold-hearted General we know him to be, perhaps even someone completely different.
Also, a cheeky shoutout to CapricornSims because they called Buzz "Eugene" first, and I frickin' love it! I can't stop using it. (I'll not tag you, though, because I've never once spoken to you and I'm shy.)
The Maid of Pleasantview (Complete - 12 Chapters - 35,585 words)
After living in SimCity with her brother for a short while, Kaylynn's back in Pleasantview, but things aren't exactly going to plan...
Unable to find any other jobs in town, Kaylynn started working for the local cleaning service as a maid until something better comes along, and her first couple of clients are certainly interesting, to say the least. Between the handsome Don Lothario and the famous Daniel Pleasant, Kaylynn's world is about to get turned upside down.
51 Road to Nowhere (Complete - One Shot - 7,130 words)
After receiving the news that his childhood home is due for demolition, Ripp Grunt returns home for the first time in years.
As he explores the now-abandoned house, he takes a trip down memory lane, seeing the ghosts from his past.

quirky fourth wall breaking character but theyre just fucking. wrong about the medium theyre in. they keep making references to cinematic techniques and directorial styles and the other fourth wall breaking character is like "dumbass we're in a fucking comic book" and they are in a video game.
Introducing my reinterpretation of one of the most iconic Sims families: the Altos, with Nick, Vita and Holly. For this version, I wanted to maintain the essence of each character, but give them a more personal and refined touch, imagining how they would look in my own Sims 4 universe.
Nick Alto — The patriarch of the family, elegant, serious, and with that businessman air that makes him seem to have everything under control… although we know there's much more behind that expression than meets the eye.
Vita Alto — The true queen of the house. Sophisticated, powerful, and with a presence impossible to ignore. Vita is the type of Sim who enters a room and automatically becomes the center of attention.
Holly Alto — The daughter of the family, with a more natural beauty and a personality that contrasts with the intensity of her parents. I wanted to give her a fresher, more bohemian look, while maintaining that special air that makes her stand out within the family.
This is a UI mod that makes selection dialog wider and higher and fit more items. You see this window when you buy magazines or video games on unowned community lots, or set up bed decorations with my Unmade Bed mod, or use other modded objects that may have been released or are going to be released soon 😏
