I find out if I'm going on strike today

Also it should be said that with my work IRL, me and my Archivist colleague name all the birds, and we gave graced a Razorbill with Oswald. They’re the closest living relative to Greak Auks, which are the namesake for Penguins, as they were first given the name (and the alias ‘Wobbles’) despite only being distantly related. They can both fly and use their wings to propel themselves underwater!

Look at how pretty Razorbills are! Love their names too, very dramatic! 🥰

Ed is a Curlew by the way. They’re SO funny and dramatic. The one we have is very long and spindly and quite tall! Love them dearly:

As a side note, we also have a Little Auk (relative of the Great Auk) named Pingu. Even though an adult, he’s SO TINY he can fit in your hand. Their Latin name, Alle alle, is also very cute and charming I think 🥰

Today I finally got to do the thing at work that I am best at:

Unfuck records for objects in the collections management program.

It is essentially the same as faffing with wiki pages back in Elftown days. As satisfying too.
