Watermelon Beauty

      Who wants to glow this summer?  Possibly even get rid of that unwanted cellulite?   Well then if you have not heard yet, a watermelon fast may be the way to go!

  So basically you just eat watermelon.  It is important that the watermelon is organic.  Watermelon provides you with hydration as well as detoxification.  Another advantage of eating watermelon is cituline, which stimulates nitric oxide.  This helps cardio vascular function.  It is also known to have libido-enhancing effects.  What I find amazing from the claims of this fast is that your skin will look brighter, tighter and younger.  I have not tried this fast yet, however have noticed a lot of online forums talking about it and wanted to share my thoughts on it.

  You can eat watermelon the old fashion way, you can cut it in half and spoon it out, or add  the whole piece of watermelon into your blender rind included and make a smoothie.  Another amazing fact I learned, you can actually take your blended watermelon smoothie puree and apply it to your face.  It will not only hydrate it will also stimulate collagen.  Hello, this means anti-aging!  I am down for that! Cheaper then Botox! Lol.  Clearly on any fast you will also loss a bit of weight.

  I think it is always a better option to do what we can naturally to stay young, fit and beautiful, before entertaining that idea of adding foreign materials to our bodies.  If you are interested in learning or eating raw food this is a great place to start.

  Some basic facts on why eating raw is so beneficial.  Raw foods are living foods.  The enzymes are powerful and assist our body in many ways.  These enzymes, feed the cells of our bodies and flush out the toxins that clog it up, like free radicals that,  prevent  our bodies from working  at its optimal best.  Yay for the power of  enzymes!

  So with all this said I want to stress that before you go out and jump into a watermelon fast or any fast for that matter, that it is something you resonate with and that you have checked with your health care provider and determined it is appropriate for you.  I do highly recommend you doing your own research on the watermelon fast and its amazing beautifying benefits.
