When Mike originally graduated from the academy in Quantico this is not exactly what he imagined. He envisioned a desk job in Washington DC, rising up the ranks until he eventually reached the director position. Instead, he was thrown into undercover job after undercover job. This time around will be his first official solo case. Something he feels he’s more than qualified for. The place in question is called the Moulin Rouge. A location he’d likely never visit if it wasn’t for this case assignment. Orders are simple. Develop a cover story if people should ask and gather as much information as he can without his cover being blown. Discover the secret dealings going on and who is behind them. The first night will likely be the easiest. Walk in. Get a feel for the place. Perhaps make a good first impression and see where things go from there. Seems easy enough, right?
The moment Mike steps inside he’s greeted with loud music and a large crowd of people. Apparently this is the place to be on a Saturday night. The place is practically jam packed. Except this does nothing to deter Mike as he continues walking through the crowds of people until he finds an empty table to take a seat. It’s so loud he can barely listen to himself think. Just goes to show how unfamiliar he is with these sorts of … establishments. There is one courtesan he was hoping to gain a conversation with. But, at the same time, she’ll probably be the hardest to gain any time with given her popularity here.
There she is.
Lights that were originally a mixture of red and orange eventually turn white and focus on one person and one person alone. To which Mike can take one guess as to who it is. None other than Saraya. The very dancer, singer he was hoping to earn a conversation with. One thing is clear. She knows how to make an entrance.
