A gentle PSA to the TLT fandom:

Ortus Nigenad (35) is not middle aged. Colum Asht (32? 34?? 37???) is not middle aged. Abigail Pent (37) and Magnus Quinn (38) are not middle aged. Protesilaus Ebdoma (39) is the oldest person at Canaan House that isn't several guys shoved into a trenchcoat one guy, and he still is not quite middle aged.

On the other hand, if she had Ortus before she was 30, Glaurica could be middle aged. Juno Zeta, who looked "anywhere from forty to sixty" seven years before the events of TLT, is middle aged. We Suffer is "an elegant middle-aged person". Admiral Sarpedon, who is so horrifyingly in his fifties or perhaps sixties, is "of middling age".

Speaking of off-page events I desperately want to see, Ortus says in HtN that he's heard about Glaurica coming back as a revenant, which, given that none of the bubble ghosts seem to know what's gone on outside the river since their deaths, means that at some point he must have had a conversation with Silas.

Note: This is just a final concept WIP. I'll finish each card after the concept for all cards is done.

III - The Empress: Glaurica

The empress always focuses a lot on motherhood. But how many loving mothers are there even in the series??? Besides Glaurica, Pyrrha I thought would fit this card as well. But I'm already having a familial piece in mind for the 10 of cups with her.

So, ultimately I chose Glaurica. I thought the very early scene where Harrow reads the Emperor's invitation letter that makes Glaurica cry about her son is a good fit for this card. Ortus ended up looking a bit derpy so I'll have to adjust his face for the final card lol.
