Some idea for a Ben 10 reboot AU
Glitch was my favorite character from Ben 10 reboot, but unfortunately, the Players of the Lost Park revealed that Glitch was often left alone since he’s stuck in his Rustbuggy form. On Ben 10: Prime, we talked about an AU where Glitch stays in his half-human form and lives as Ben's brother. I really liked the idea because he’d be able to actively participate with the Tennysons in that way. So I imagined what his human disguise would’ve looked like. He'd probably use an ID mask or something. Phil would probably solve the problem lol
His fake name would be Glen as a shortened version of Glitch Ben. It'd be also a nod to Glen Murakami.
I know his default design is extremely plain, but this was actually intentional. The idea was that the Mechamorph pattern appears when he uses his technopathic powers a little bit.
However, fully using his powers when he’s in disguise puts him a lot of strain on him. It’s like running in full sprint while wearing high heels. So whenever he engages in battle, he needs to change back to his half-Mechamorph form.
The first time he’s ever had food.
I was thinking Glen would love to go to places like libraries and museums because he was alone inside the Omnitrix for a long time, so he'd like to learn what the outside world is like.
Not everyone is happy with the new addition to the Tennysons, of course
The main way for Glen to join a fight would be providing Gwen with a battle suit, kinda like how he did for Kevin in the movie. This way, Gwen would be able to contribute to Ben's fights more. Glen had to binge watching the entire Lucky Girl episodes to design the armor for her lol The design is based on her Lucky Girl costume, the cat armor from Roundabout, and the Glitch armor from the movie. The pattern on her chest is actually a reference to the charm of luck from OS.
The entire server agreed that Glitch is the best boi and that he deserved so much better in the show. Also, I actually enjoyed the reboot quite a lot. So deal with it lol
