It's a Boy('s Sixteenth Birthday)" because it has such a special place in my heart, you did such a good job with the character dynamics and i am FERAL about the little pieces of sanji backstory (and also the concept of teenage sanji being a sweater vest kid you are so correct) but anyways 2, 9, and dealer's choice for that one?

2: What scene did you first put down?

I actually started right at the beginning scene! I'd read a few fics where Sanji had pet rats, and I've got a bigger plan in the works for a full high school/modern au, and the idea for the whole fic just came together perfectly. Aside from Sanji getting the rats, the starting scene was the first one that came to me, since I needed to set up Zeff's birthday conundrum lol.

9. We're there any alternate versions of this fic?

I didn't write any other drafts, but I debated a lot how old I wanted Sanji to be. I thought about making him younger, and then decided to age him up for the sake of the fic, I think originally because I intended to put some zosan on the side and then didn't. I left the scene where Sanji is discussing going to school with Zeff for a while so I could mull it over in my head when I got stuck on other scenes. Originally I had thought of making Sanji a middle schooler, but then the 16th bday made WAY more sense for a very very important gift, and that's where I landed.

You tagged that gifset of Luca sleeping as youtube au, and it just made me think of a video that starts with cell phone footage of Joe whispering, "It's someone's birthday today, so I'm taking over his channel for a little bit. Come on, I'm making breakfast." Then it's just quick clips from throughout the day (making breakfast in bed, opening presents, hanging out at the beach with the rest of the crew) and probably ends on some ridiculously sweet message from Joe about how much he loves him

Hiiiiii, nice to hear from you again✨!! When I reblogged that gifset I was thinking of the yt au and I had so many scenarios in my mind but this is so cute! Yusuf would definitely take control of the channel and post cute moments from Nicky’s birthday. Consider also that in my mind Nicky always wakes up at dawn so it’s a small miracle that he oversleeps and Yusuf is so happy that for once he can be the one who wakes up first and prepares breakfast and not creepily check on Nicky while he sleeps.

Of course every idea Yusuf may have of, you know, waking Nicky up gently with breakfast is ruined by Booker and Quynh and later Andy stepping into the house (Booker picked the lock) singing Happy Birthday in three different languages, all of them dressed for the beach (AndyinatanktopAndyinatanktop), thinking the others are ready to go.

As soon as they see Yusuf shushing them because Nicky is still sleeping, Booker goes to the bedroom and probably starts leaving drops of water on Nicky’s forehead, murmuring “Nicky, it’s raining in the house!! Nicky, wake up! Nicky, the titanic is sinking and there’s Joe as a passenger!!” Nicky opens one eye and goes: “What, what the fuck, the fuck is Joe doing on the titanic?” And in that moment Booker drops the entire jug of water on Nicky’s head. It’s a good birthday.

Hi! Sorry to bother, but do you know a fic where Steve and Bucky touch some sort of an artifact (asgardian maybe?) that reverts them to base instinct, but only one at a time? Like they switch every day and one of them is normal and the other can't communicate? I remember there was a bit where Bucky asks to be microchipped because steve has medical power of attorney for him. I've been going insane searching for it via AO3 and google but I haven't found it, so I figured I'd ask here.

Wednesday’s Child by @glitter-lisp - M, 2,448 words. It’s listed as ‘Gen’ and basically is - I said Evanstan above because of how it connects to Amateur Cartography, which of course is a Chris/Seb story. :-)

And having said that, you should all go and read it! (It probably helps if you’ve read Amateur Cartography first, I will note that.)

Such lovely writing - some of those lines are so gutwrenching - and a beautiful character study of one of our favorite side characters, Nikolaj, that captures so many layers of competence and violence and loyalty and danger and love. It’s a Nikolaj POV of one of the AC scenes (should also note that it basically contains...Nikolaj collecting Sebastian in the aftermath of, nothing explicitly shown, an assignment involving...let’s say dubious consent that became non-con, including drug use) and this scene works so well that it’s basically my head-canon now.

So I got the opportunity to participate in the @voltronbang and was paired with the wonderfully talented @glitter-lisp, who has written an amaaaazing fic, Rule One. Chapter one has been posted and I highly encourage you give it a read!

I plan to get at least one more piece for the fic drawn, because it is a serious treat and a delight to be a part of a project as nice as this one.

People are only surprised when Matt and Shiro announce they're dating because everyone thought they already were. They call each other babe and love. They share a bed more often than not. Matt wears Shiro's clothes. They're so physically affectionate?? So many hugs? Shiro plays with Matt's hair? Matt tugs Shiro down to kiss his cheek? Like everyone thought they just didn't like to talk about their relationship, not that they weren't dating at all.

This is ADORABLE. I am so in love with the idea of these two’s relationship progressing from best friends to World’s Cuddliest Best Friends to actually-a-romantic-couple.
