This is the 2015 Station ID of TV5. The Station ID was themed “Happy Ka Dito!”
The Station ID Theme Song or also known as “Sama-Sama sa Ligaya” was sung by Filipino singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, hype man, television host, actor and comedian Ogie Alcasid featuring Filipino rapper, record producer and songwriter Gloc-9. The theme song was produced by Filipino singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, record producer, composer, DJ, television host, actor, comedian and businessman Willie Revillame. The theme song also features French EDM duo Daft Punk, American musician, songwriter and record producer Adam Young of Owl City and American rapper, songwriter, record producer, dancer and hype man Fatman Scoop who serve as the backing vocals of the theme song. However, Adam Young arranged the Happy Ka Dito theme song from TV5. Starting in May 5, 2015. The theme “Sama-Sama sa Ligaya” can be heard on Radyo5 and various radio stations nationwide to bring happiness and more fun. The 2015 Station ID of TV5 will be launched in May 5, 2015 live at Quezon Memorial Circle at 6:00am during sunrise. Also, The 2015 Station ID of TV5 can be seen on every LED billboard and mobile billboard around the world in the countries of North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania. However, Marky Cielo posthumously appeared in the 2015 Station ID of TV5 because he died in October 31, 2012 due to a cardiac arrest at age 35 including German Moreno who died in August 21, 2010 due to lung cancer at age 85 and even Dolphy who died in May 1, 2015 due to a stroke at age 85 before the next generation of TV5 was launched in May 5, 2015 with the slogan “Happy Ka Dito!”.
The 2015 Station ID of TV5 did include some sexy girls in a strip club when they are feeling happy, energetic and having a good time on the streets as they were outside of a strip club. Eventually, the sexy girls originally appeared in the My Name Is music video from Disney’s Blues Clues in which the song was performed by Vanilla Ice whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III in which the girls kicked Martin Nievera out of the strip club after trespassing due to a bar fight in Las Vegas. However, The sexy girls in a strip club did appear in the 2014 Summer Station ID of ABS-CBN which is “Basta’t Ka-Summer Kita, Kapamilya!” when Martin Nievera gets kicked out as he was about to enter the strip club.
The 2015 Station ID of TV5 includes some former News5 personalities like Paolo Bediones, Cheryl Cosim, Karen Davila, James Deakin, Atom Araullo, Kara David, Mariz Umali, Mel Tiangco, Arnold Clavio, Howie Severino and Jiggy Manicad featuring the President and CEO of TV5 which is Manuel V. Pangilinan when he was working as the cameraman and Weng Dela Peña who is the new voice-over of TV5 and the new radio news anchor of Radyo5 or also known as 95.5 Radyo5 FM. However, Weng Dela Peña was the original radio news anchor of Eagle FM 92.3 or DWDM-FM. But somehow, Weng Dela Peña’s hands are seen instead of his full body because he is holding a movie clapper board.
Luckily, Filipino actress, singer, dancer and television host Maine Mendoza was seen in the 2015 Station ID of TV5 when Mel Tiangco puts makeup on her as she is getting prepared for the very first Wattpad story on TV5 which is Wattpad Presents: Love at First Read with her first boyfriend Daniel Padilla. Although, They appeared at the very end before transitioning to the TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila which was made and opened in June 2010. But Daniel Padilla wasn’t seen at this point. However, Maine Mendoza might become a host of the variety show Wowowillie.
