For those that have followed for some time, you may know that I have some medical issues, specifically bone tumors. I got medicaid back recently, but when I had it last year, the general first thought I was complaining about nothing. Asking me if I tried losing weight and working out. But I can't even hardly walk. Eventually she said she couldn't do anything without past medical history. Which I have next to none. And the only ones that would have that information were my past abusers. Still, she did nothing.
When I got medicaid again, and got to a new clinic, I was worried it was going to be the same. New doc. She put me in a weight loss pill, calcium, and viatmin D. But... she refered me to a Bone Specialist type of doctor. I went Wednesday...
He asked me some questions, and listened to every word. He was attentive and didn't question or accuse me. Didn't think I was just a fat girl whining and wanting to be lazy. He checked the tumors, then did some tests. Afterwards he walked backed in the room, and said "Lets talk about surgery."
I almost cried of joyed at finally getting this fixed.
So, within the next couple of months, I'll finally start working through the process of removing the tumors. Waiting for the call to be scheduled. I will be on bed rest a lot following each procedure, but I should still be able to draw.
To celebrate I will do some art streams this weekend! I'll take any art requests from followers, feel free to pm me here, note me, or ask during the streams. :)
