12 days. That’s all you had to make it through 12 days of work and that was it, it was hiatus. Pulling your hood up you kept your head down as you walked towards your trailer. A knock at the door broke through the silence. “Y/N, it’s me I’m not going away.” When you didn’t answer you thought he’d get the message and leave. “I have coffee.”
“Jensen, leave me alone!”
“Never, just let me in, he’s not here.”
Dragging yourself off the couch you unlocked the door flopping back down.”
“Did you even sleep last night?” He asked handing you a takeaway cup.
Shaking your head you looked up at him. “Probably half an hour.”
“You look exhausted.”
“Thanks.” Rolling your eyes at him you took a sip of coffee.
“I mean it, get some sleep you don’t have to be on set until after lunch.”
“I can’t sleep Jensen, every time I close my eyes I see it, I see them together, why did he do it, Jay? Why wasn’t I good enough? Am I not pretty enough? Is it because I’m fat? I know I haven’t lost all of the baby weight yet but I’m trying.” You couldn’t stop the tears from falling.
Jensen’s arm wrapped around you. “You’re not fat, you’re beautiful, funny, smart, Y/N you’re perfect and I don’t know why, I have no reason for why he’d throw your relationship away, all I know is that it hurts right now but it will get better, I’m here for anything you need.”
“Jay can we try to get everything shot as soon as we can I just want to get home to my Mom and Rosie.”
“I’ll see what we can do, let’s get you to make up.” Helping you to your feet he walked you to the hair and makeup trailer.
After half an hour you looked semi-alive, the girls chatted to you as they worked their magic distracting you from your crumbling personal life.
Jensen walked into the trailer smiling at you. “Ready?”
“Yeah, let's go.”
Walking out of the hair and makeup trailer you froze when you saw Jared leaning against the side of his trailer kissing her. “Y/N, come on.” Jensen gave your hand a small tug.
At the mention of your name, Jared looked up shoving her off him. “Y/N.”
“Jay I can’t do this.” The tears were already falling as you ran back to your trailer grabbing your phone and keys you bolted towards the car park, ignoring the two men calling your name behind you.
-
“Are you sure this is what you want to do?” Your Mom asked as she put on her coat.
“Yes it is, I want everything out and gone tomorrow.”
“I’ll send your brother's first thing in the morning to come and help you and keep Jared away from you.”
You squeezed your eyes shut at the mention of your husband’s name. “Okay, thank you for looking after Rosie for me.”
“Anytime that’s what I’m here for.”
“See you tomorrow Mom.”
“Goodbye, darling.” The door hotel room door shut behind her, silence filling the room. For the first time in nearly a week, you were alone, resting your back against the wall you slowly slid down it pulling your knees to your chest, you’d never felt so alone.
-
Knocking on his door he opened it with a furrowed brow. “Y/N? Are you okay? Come in.”
“I don’t want to be alone right now and I don’t want to call my Mom back, she’ll only worry and want to hit Jared again.”
Shutting the door behind you he smiled at you. “You can stay here, I’ll take the couch, you can have my bed.”
“No, I’ll have the couch.”
“I’m not arguing about this.”
“I’m sorry I just really don’t want to be alone.”
“It’s okay, I get it.” His eyes dropped to your 4-month-old daughter asleep in her carrier. “You don’t happen to have a crib in your case do you?” He nodded towards your suitcase by the door.
“No, I’m so sorry Jay, I’ll leave.” Turning to go he grabbed your arm.
“You’re not going anywhere you’re going to make yourself a cup of coffee or pour yourself a glass of whiskey, sit on the couch and relax, I’m going out I need to get groceries anyway, do you need anything else for her or you?”
Shaking your head you sat down on the couch.
“Okay, I’ll be home soon, if you need me call okay?” He leaned down kissing your cheek.
--
“How’re you doing?” Jensen asked as he pulled spare pillows and blankets out of the wardrobe.
“Better, thank you for this.”
“Good.” He nodded. “If you need anything I’m on the couch.” He pointed his thumb over his shoulder towards the lounge.
“Actually, can I ask you for one more thing?”
“Sure.”
“Please stay with me tonight.”
You watched him process what you’d asked. “Yeah okay.” Putting the blanket and pillows away he crawled into bed next to you, his arms wrapped around you, your head resting on his chest.
“Why?”
“I don’t know how he could ever throw away a life with you.”
Jensen held you as you cried, his arms holding you close as your tears soaked his v neck.
Rosie’s cries filled the room, wiping your eyes you got out of bed scooping your daughter up you gently rocked her. “Shh, baby girl, it’s alright, we’re gonna be okay, we have Uncle Jensen looking out for us.”
Jensen smiled as he watched you with your daughter, trying to ignore the knot in his stomach as he watched the woman who he fell in love with all those years ago and didn’t have the nerve to ask out until it was too late and you were with Jared. He watched as you wiped fresh tears from your cheeks with the cuff of your sweatshirt, his heart was breaking for you and all he could do is watch as you soothed your daughter and held back the tears.
When Rosie was asleep in your arms you placed her back in the crib Jensen bought her, crawling back into bed his arms wrapped around you again holding you close.
“I’m sorry.” Your fingers gently ran across his chest.
“Stop saying your sorry, if anyone should be saying sorry it’s Jared.”
“He has multiple times I can just never forgive him.”
“I know.” He sighed.
“Thank you for this.”
“Anytime, that’s what I’m here for.”
Taking a deep yet shaky breath you closed your eyes resting your head on his chest you relaxed in his arms. “I love you, Jay.”
“I love you too darlin’.”
Jensen fell asleep with you in his arms knowing you’d never love him the way he loved you, knowing you’d never be his.

Sleeping always came as a challenge unless you’d consumed half a bottle of whiskey or you’d been knocked out and carried to a motel bed by a Winchester. Recently it had been much much worse, ever since Michael slaughtered every hunter from the apocalypse world in front of you, you struggled to close your eyes without seeing the scene play out over and over again.
Sitting up you glanced at the alarm clock on your nightstand, 3:24 AM. Grabbing the blanket off the end of your bed you wrapped it around your shoulders, heading towards the Dean cave you already knew you were going to spend the rest of the morning watching whatever rom-com you could find on Netflix.
Walking down the hallway you slowed down when you saw Sam’s door open and his light on, taking slower and lighter steps you attempted to creep past you froze when you saw his room empty, his phone and laptop sat on his desk, dirty clothes from the hunt in the hamper and empty beer bottles in the trash, every sign Sam had been here, just no Sam.
Searching the whole bunker there was no sign of Sam anywhere, all the cars were still in the garage, his phone still here the only thing missing apart from Sam was his gun.
Putting on your boots you walked back to your room, grabbing your phone and gun you didn’t bother changing into anything warmer, one of Sam’s old flannels and a pair of sleep shorts would have to do. Pulling the blanket tighter around yourself you took a deep breath as you walked outside.
Walking down the main road with only the torch on your phone to light your way you couldn’t see him or any sign he’d come this way. The last place you could search was the wooded area next to the bunker if he wasn’t there you were going to have to wake up Dean to help with the moose hunt. Shining the torch as you moved through the trees you heard a gun cock to your right, spinning to face the noise your torch lit up the area, Sam was sat on the ground his gun pointed at you.
“Y/N?” He asked holding a hand up trying to block the light shining in his eyes.
“Yeah it’s me, are you okay? Are you hurt?” Dropping to your knees you let your phone and gun fall to the ground as your palms cupping his cheeks.
Sam’s hands wrapped around your wrists. “I’m fine.”
“What the hell are you doing out here?” You asked as he let go of your arms.
“I just … I needed to get out of there, I can’t sleep.” He ran his hands down his face as he spoke.
Sitting down next to him you draped half of the blanket around his shoulders. “Why the gun?”
“Why’d you bring yours?”
“Because a wise Winchester with better hair than me once told me to never leave the bunker without a gun.”
“Damn right.” Looking up at him the light from your phone helped you see the smile on his face. “Why are you awake?”
“Couldn’t sleep either.” Resting your head against his shoulder he wrapped an arm around your waist. “I was going to watch movies but your room was empty and I couldn’t find you.”
“I’m here.” He shrugged.
“Yeah, I know that now, so what are we doing here?”
“Watching the sun come up, this is the best spot to see it all from.”
“Sam, how many mornings have you spent out here?”
“Too many.” His arm around you pulled you closer to his side.
“Is this what you’re doing when I’m watching TV in the Dean cave?”
“Yeah, I usually come in when you’re asleep, fix your blanket make sure you’re comfy and warm.”
“That’s you? I always thought it was Dean.”
“Nope, me.” His hand rested on your knee. “Y/N you’re freezing.”
“I’m sat on the ground in your shirt and shorts, of course, I’m cold.”
“Go inside, warm up.”
“No, I wanna watch the sun come up with you.”
Sam’s hands hauled you up off the ground and into his lap, taking the corners of the blanket he wrapped his arms around you, cocooning yourself both within the blanket.
“Every time I close my eyes I see it.” The back of your head rested against Sam’s chest. “He held me against the wall, I couldn’t help, I couldn’t save -” Your voice cracked as you trailed off.
“I know, I see it too, when I heard that scream and you weren’t with us, I need... I needed to get to you, to know you were safe, I thought we’d find you dead.”
“I’m okay, I’m here.”
“I know you are, you’re here.”
Your hand’s covered Sam’s as he held you against him, your fingers interlinking with his. “We’re both here Sammy.”
Watching the sun come up wrapped in Sam Winchester’s arms was just as therapeutic as a day at the spa, if not more so. When the sun was shining down on both of you, Sam watched you get up to your feet before he grabbed your guns and phone as he stood up. His hand slipped into yours as you walked back into the bunker.
“Where the hell have you two been?” Dean asked with his arms folded across his chest as he watched you walk down the metal staircase with your hand in Sam’s. “And what the hell have you been doing?”
Between your dirt coated knees, blanket and Sam’s sweatpants it was enough for Dean to raise a brow at the two of you.
“Shut up,” Sam growled at his brother. “We’re gonna sleep, don’t wake us up or I’ll hurt you.”
Taking a step back Dean raised his hands. “Okay then.”
Sam gave your hand a small squeeze. “C’ mon.” Leading you down the hallway towards his room. “Do you want to change?” He paused looking down at you.
“No, I just want to sleep.” Dropping the blanket to the floor you wrapped your arms around Sam’s waist looking up at him you smiled.
His palm cupped your cheek. “Let’s get some sleep.”
Falling asleep in Sam’s arms you felt safe, you felt at home, for the first time in a long time you fell asleep feeling calm.
-
Every night you fell asleep with Sam, one way or another you ended up together. You’d creep down the dim hallway of the bunker and crawl in bed next to him, he was always awake waiting for you, some nights he’d come to you already tucked up in your bed when you returned from the shower. When you shared a motel bed with Dean you’d lay awake as he snored away next to you, it would only take you minutes to get out of bed and seek out the warmth of Sam, falling asleep in his arms you were always scared Dean would wake up and question you two about your sleeping arrangements, but as time went on you didn’t care. Dean didn’t ask a single question, he’d only wake you up the next morning and tell you to get ready.
Dean was driving the three of you back to the bunker after a particularly nasty ghoul hunt, Sam had taken the brunt of the attack as he shoved you behind himself. You’d made quick work of patching him up as he downed half of the bottle of whiskey Dean had given him, paying close attention to a long gash across his abdomen, Dean refused to let him sit shotgun insisting there should be someone next to him to check on him, with that you were both relegated to the backseat. After a couple of minutes, Sam started to relax, his hand covered yours on his knee turning your hand over your fingers interlinked with his, giving his hand a small squeeze his head rested against your shoulder.
“Y/N.” He mumbled as he shifted in the seat.
“I’m here Sammy, do you want to lay down?”
He gave a small nod as you felt him slowly sink down to lay on his side his head falling into your lap. With a grunt, he shifted onto his back one of his legs hanging off the bench as the other bent resting against the back of the seat. Blinking up at you he smiled his hand still holding yours. Smiling down at him your fingers ran through his hair.
“Go to sleep Sam, I’m here.”
Closing his eyes you watched him slowly fall asleep with a smile on his face, looking up from the sleeping Winchester your eyes met his brother’s in the rearview mirror as he smiled at you.
“What?”
“Nothing.” He gave a small shrug. “I just have a feeling you’re going to be around for a little longer than any of us thought you would be.”
“I hope so.” Looking down at Sam his mouth hung open slightly as he snored.
-
“You need help with sleeping beauty?” Dean asked as he opened the door closest to his brother’s feet.
“Please, I think he’s made my legs numb.”
Dean helped you get Sam into his room and onto his bed, the giant was still flat out.
“Should he still be sleeping?” Dean asked as he took a step back.
“He’s going to be fine, I’ll check him over and any problems I’ll call you right away, okay?”
“Thanks.” Giving you a quick hug he left you and sleeping Sam alone.
Peeling his clothes off you left him in just his boxers so you could check every wound, cut and bruise, he was doing fine, he was just exhausted. Cleaning him up as best as you could you pulled the sheets up over him, dragging his desk chair across the room you got settled in it with a blanket and pillow to keep you comfy and warm.
“Y/N?” Sam reached out to the empty space in bed next to him. “Y/N!” He shot upright when he felt you weren’t with him, his hand flying to his stomach as he groaned.
“I’m here, I’m here lay down.” Grabbing his shoulders you pushed him back down in bed.
“I thought you were gone.”
“No Sam, I’m here.”
“Stay with me.” Wrapping his hand around one of your wrists he gave a gentle tug. “Please.”
“Okay, just watch your stomach okay?” Pulling off your jeans and flannel you crawled in next to him.
“Mhm.” He mumbled as he wrapped his arm around you. “I love you.”
Running your fingers through his hair he smiled as rested his cheek on your chest. “I love you too Sammy.”
“No, I really love you, I’m in love with you.”
“Sam, go to sleep.”
“You’ll be here?”
“I’ll be here.” You could feel him slowly falling asleep on you as you ran your fingers through his hair when his deep breaths slowly turned to snores you turned off your bedside lamp, finally letting yourself fall asleep.
-
Sam’s hand was running up and down your back slowly pulling you into the land of the living. “Good morning.” He mumbled as he kissed the top of your head.
Opening your eyes your head was resting on Sam’s chest as your arm slung over his waist, pushing yourself away from him his arm wrapped around your waist stopping you from getting too far away. “Sam your stomach.”
“It’s fine, it doesn’t even hurt please just stay with me, here.”
Giving in you let Sam pull you closer to him, your head resting on his shoulder as you looked up at him. “This is nice.”
“I’m surprised Dean hasn’t woken us up sooner.” Sam sighed as his fingers traced patterns up and down your arm.
“He’s letting you rest.”
“Good.”
Closing your eyes you could feel yourself slowly falling back asleep.
“I meant it,” Sam mumbled.
“Meant what?” You asked as you opened your eyes looking up at him.
“I love you.” He smiled down at you. “ I have for a while now, I love you.”
“Sam -“
“I shouldn’t have said anything.”
Leaning up you kissed him as his arm tightened around your waist, his other running through your hair as he cupped the back of your head. Pulling away you smiled back at him. “I love you too.” Sam’s rumbling stomach interrupted you. “C’mon let’s get you something to eat.” Patting his chest you sat up, grabbing one of his flannels off the back of his chair you pulled it on as you handed him some sweatpants and v-neck out of his drawer.
Your hand slipped into his as you walked down the hallway towards the kitchen.
“Afternoon,” Dean mumbled as he looked up from his phone in his hand.
“Hi.” Smiling at him his eyes trailed down to his brother’s hand holding yours.
“Coffee?” Sam asked as he looked down at you giving your hand a small squeeze as he slowly pulled away.
“Please.” Sitting down at the table opposite Dean he tried to hide the smile on his face with his coffee cup. “What?”
“Told ya you’d be sticking around for a while.”
Smiling back at him your eyes met Sam’s over his shoulder “I really think I will be.”

Part 1 - Masterlist
“Hey, stranger!” Jared shouted walking towards you with 2 coffee cups in his hands, holding the cup with your name scribbled on it out to you he smiled. “Extra vanilla as it is Thursday.”
“Thanks, It’s only been a week did you miss me that much?” Taking the cup from him you took a sip, he’d only known you for 2 months but he’d made the effort to get to know you.
“Of course I have, I’ve only had Misha to mess with.” Wrapping an arm around you he gave you a hug.
“Great, so I have more dead spiders in my trailer then?”
He only shrugged as he walked with you towards Jensen’s trailer, opening the door he climbed in. “You coming in or what?”
Following him in you felt a little uncomfortable walking into someone’s trailer without their invitation. All that unease left when Jensen looked up from his phone smiling when he realised it was you.
“Hey, when did you get here?” He stood up walking towards you hugging you.
“Last night.”
“Tell me you’re here for more than a week this time.” He smiled down at you as he let you go.
“Yep, you have me for a few weeks before I have to go back and be a TV Doctor.”
“You’re staying in a hotel for weeks?” Jared asked from where he sat on the couch.
“No, I’m not I actually moved into an apartment on Saturday, well kind of moved in half my stuff is here half is in LA.”
Jensen slapped at Jared’s legs off the couch so you could sit down, grabbing his coffee cup he sat down next to you. “You should’ve called us we could’ve helped you move in.”
“I had Justin’s very reluctant help, only took the promise of pizza and beer.”
“Cheap assistant then.”
“Yep.”
“You ready for today?” Jared asked chugging the last of his coffee.
“Sure am.”
“Shit!” Jared stood up looking up from his watch. “I was supposed to be in hair and makeup twenty minutes ago.” He rushed towards the door. “See you later Y/N.” He called out as the door shut behind him.
“Bye Jared, he always like that?”
Jensen chuckled. “Occasionally, but when he is he’s late by a while, one day he was six hours late.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
“Did anyone call him?”
“Yep, he’d turned it off cause he wanted to sleep, I had to go to his place wake him up and drag his ass down here.”
“Wow.” Glancing down at your watch you needed to be in makeup. “I’m not gonna pull a Jared, I’ll see you later Jensen.”
“See ya Y/N.”
-
“What the hell was that?” Dean slammed the motel door shut behind you both.
Turning to face him you pulled off your jacket throwing it down on the closest bed. “What the hell was what? Me saving a child’s life or me saving your ass?”
“You nearly getting yourself killed in the process!”
“I was fine!”
“You nearly got your throat ripped out by a vamp!” Dean ripped off his jacket and pulled his gun from his waistband dropping them onto the bed next to yours. “You could have died!”
“I didn’t! Everyone’s safe, everyone’s alive because of me!”
Dean closed the space between you slamming you against the wall, his hand cupped the back of your head as his lips slammed into yours, his free hand ran down your side cupping under your ass as he lifted you into his arms, wrapping your legs around his waist he walked you towards the bed dropping you down onto the mattress before he crawled on top of you.
“Cut!” The director called out into the room. “You know I think we might’ve just nailed that in one but we’re gonna do one more just to be sure.”
After one more take, the director yelled cut as he walked towards the two of you as Jensen helped you sit up. “If you two are like that with every scene you have together a lot of people are gonna be having early lunches.” He gave you a thumbs up before walking back towards the camera.
“You okay? I pushed you against the wall harder than I should’ve that time.” His hand rested on your arm as he looked down at you with a furrowed brow.
Nodding up at him you smiled. “Yeah, I’m good.”
His arm wrapped around your waist. “You sure, you’re not just saying that to make me feel better?”
“Honestly I’m fine Jensen.”
Wrapping his arms around you he gave you a hug. “I’m sorry.”
Patting his chest he pulled away from you. “Jensen, I’m fine don’t worry about it, Justin’s dropped me down the stairs before don’t worry and didn’t apologise, don’t worry about it.”
“I’ll get you a coffee later to make up for it.”
“Will, that make you feel better?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay.” Smiling up at him you nodded. “I’ll see you later Jensen.”
--
Stretching your legs out on your couch you read through the latest script for Grey’s with a glass of red wine in your hand. A knock at your door pulled your attention from your lines, you hadn’t ordered any food and the cast didn’t know where you lived yet, they must have the wrong apartment. The knocking didn’t stop.
Walking towards the door you flung it open, Jared and Jensen stood in front of you. “What the hell are you guys doing here?”
“It’s your first episode tonight.” Jared grinned at you holding up two bottles of wine. “So we’re here to watch it with you.”
“That’s Jared for can we come in watch your first episode with you, order pizza and drink?” Jensen rolled his eyes at Jared.
“You have wine, of course, you can come in.” Holding the door open you let the two of them in. “How the hell did you find out where I live?” Closing the door behind them you turned to see Jared already raiding the drawers for a bottle opener.
“We have our ways.” Jensen winked at you.
“Not creepy at all.” Picking the script off the couch you dropped it onto your coffee table.
“We asked one of the PAs, we’re not interrupting you are we?” He asked sitting down on your couch.
“Jensen I’m in yoga pants and I’m drinking, of course, you’re not interrupting me.” Picking up your wine glass you walked towards the kitchen where Jared was still clattering around. “What do you guys want to drink? I think I still have some beer left.” Putting your glass down you watched him open the same cupboard for the third time.
“Where the hell are your wine glasses?” Jared asked closing another door.
“In the one next to you.” Pointing towards the cupboard you watched him open it and pull out 2 glasses. “Are you already drunk?”
Turning around you ran straight into Jensen’s chest his arms darting out to stop you from falling backwards. “Sorry, I came to grab a beer, you good?”
“Yeah.” Nodding at him one of his hands dropped from your arm the other moved to the small of your back as you opened the fridge door pulling out a beer for him. “Here.”
“Thanks.” Taking it from you his hand dropped from your back.
-
Your phone lit up every few minutes as the episode played out.
“Someone’s popular.” Jared nodded at your phone as he drained his glass.
“It’ll be Justin giving me a running commentary as he watches it.” Leaning forwards you flipped your phone over.
“What’s the deal with you two?” Jensen asked sitting back down next to you with another beer.
“He’s my best friend.” You shrugged.
“That’s it?”
“Yeah that’s it, everyone always thinks there’s something going on but there really isn’t.”
“Told ya.” Jensen tipped his beer bottle towards Jared.
“Whatever,” Jared grumbled as he got up to fill up his glass taking yours with him.
“He really thought you two were dating.”
“Really Jared?” You called out as he walked away.
“You’re always with him! Plus your characters hook up!”
“We don’t all end up marrying our co-stars Jared!”
Jensen chuckled next to you his arm resting on the back of the couch behind you. Jared walked back towards you with 2 full glasses of wine, handing you your glass he fished in his back pocket for his wallet pulling out a twenty he dropped in Jesen’s lap.
“You actually bet on it?” You looked up at him.
Jared shrugged slumping onto the couch. “I thought you were dating him.”
“He’s going to love hearing that.”
As the episode ended your phone rang on the table, picking it up you didn’t have to even look who was calling to know who it was, answering the face time Justin smiled at you. “Hey, badass.”
“Shut up.”
“You killed it!”
“You know I haven’t read any of your texts yet.”
“Oh, you’re going to enjoy them.” He winked at you.
“Where the hell are you?”
“On set.”
“You’re on set and you watched the episode?”
“Oh yeah, Dempsey and Pompeo watched it too, they said they’re proud of you.”
“Don’t make me cry.”
“Where are you anyway?”
“Home, well on the couch, Jared and Jensen are here, did you know Jared thought we were dating?”
“Seriously?”
“You two are always together!” Jared protested next to you.
“Justin! Come on man off the phone!”
“I’m needed, seriously you killed it though I can see why they’re keeping you on.” With a smirk, he winked at you. “See you soon, love you.”
“Love you too.”
“And you’re seriously surprised as to why I thought y’all were dating.” Jared snorted.
Shoving Jared’s arm you dropped your phone back onto the table. “What’re we watching now?”
“You.” Jared smiled grabbing the remote from the table.
“Excuse me, Padalecki?”
Looking up at the TV he’d put on today’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
“No, come on.” Reaching for the remote Jensen’s arm dropped from the back of the couch to your waist holding you against him as Jared held the remote away from you.
“We’ve watched our show, now we’re watching yours.” He shrugged putting the remote on the floor he kicked it across the wooden floor.
“Why are you two such assholes, do you even watch Grey’s Anatomy? Because if you’re both going to sit there and ask me questions I will hurt one of you.”
“Shh, it’s on.” Jared hissed at you pointing at the TV.
Focusing on the TV you watched your LA family delivering first-class drama as the scenes played out, you tried not to think about Jensen’s hand on your hip as he sipped his beer next to you. You knew you weren’t in the episode until after the halfway mark only coming in when a trauma is brought in, you could actually enjoy this, looking down at your empty wine glass you didn’t really want to move you didn’t want Jensen’s hand to leave you.
As the advert started to play Jensen held his beer out towards Jared. “Get me a glass of wine would ya?”
Grabbing the bottle he shuffled off towards the kitchen, returning with an empty glass and a bottle of wine, filling up the glasses he flopped back down next to you, stretching his legs out he yawned resting his head back against the couch.
“Tired?”
“Just a bit.”
“You can go home you know, you don’t have to stay.”
“Shh you’re back on, are you even in this or are you stringing us along?”
“You wanted to watch it, you’re the one who put it on and yes I am.”
It felt weird watching yourself in the show that had been your life for the past few years with the two men who were going to be a part of your new family, it felt like some weird brag.
You weren’t really paying attention to the screen when Jared shoved your knee.
“What?”
With a raised brow he pointed at the screen where your character and Justin were getting hot and heavy in the on-call room. “Y’all ain't dating.” He scoffed.
“No, ask me one more time and I’ll hurt you.”
--
As the credits rolled Jared stood up rolling his shoulders. “I need my bed.”
“It’s fine, go home, enjoy.”
“J you comin’?”
“I’m gonna help Y/N tidy up I’ll get a cab later, see ya tomorrow.”
Showing Jared out Jensen started cleaning up the kitchen throwing out empty pizza boxes.
“You don’t have to do that, you can go home.” You tried to take the plate from his hand.
“I’m not leaving your kitchen a mess and letting you clean it up, won’t take long anyway.” He shrugged as he carried on washing up the dishes.
Hopping up on the counter you took every dish he washed drying it and stacking them up next to you. Watching him your brow furrowed when he smiled up at you. “What?”
“You.”
“What about me?”
“You’re going to be a breath of fresh air.” Drying his hands on the cloth in your hands his palms rested on your thighs. “And one hell of a lot of trouble.”
Smiling down at him you dropped the cloth next to you. “Oh yeah?”
His hands ran up your thighs to rest on your hips pulling you closer to the edge of counter your legs fell further apart as he settled in between your thighs. “Jensen, you’re married.”
Pulling you flush against him he nodded at you. “I know.”
“We shouldn’t.”
“I know.” He breathed out as his lips brushed against yours. “Sweetheart, I know.”

Everything ached, you needed more space and to get out of this damn car so you could stretch your legs.
“What! What is it?” Dean snapped as his eyes met yours in the rearview mirror. Your brow creased as you looked at him. “Don’t look at me like that, you’ve been huffing and sighing for the past twenty minutes, out with it!”
“I’m all cramped up in here next to these two.” You glanced towards Castiel and Jack. “We’ve been on the road for hours, I just wanna stretch my legs.”
“Shut up and deal with it.”
“Don’t talk to her like that.” Sam slapped his brother’s arm. “Come sit up here with us.”
“No cause you’re bigger than these two.” Sam looked over his shoulder at you with a smile on his face. “Why can’t they just zap themselves to Atlanta? Why do they have to be here takin’ up space?”
“Y/N, you know Sam and Dean like to talk through the case with us, that’s -”
“Cas, don’t.” Sam interrupted the angel knowing whatever he was going to say would only piss you off further. “Baby come here.” Reaching out for you he helped you over the bench, avoiding kicking Dean in the head as you landed with a thud in your boyfriend’s lap. “Why’re you so grouchy today?” Sam’s arm wrapped around your waist as you sat sideways in his lap.
“You kept me up last night.”
“Ew, no, none of that talk in baby.”
“Not like that you perv.” Leaning forwards you slapped Dean’s shoulder. “You were so restless, kept kicking me.”
“I’m sorry,” Sam mumbled. “We have what? Six, seven more hours before we get there, so…” His fingertips brushed stray hairs that had escaped your messy bun behind your ear. “Why don’t you relax and take a nap.”
“Thank you.” Smiling up at him you kissed him.
A hand slapped down on your calf. “Knock it off.” Dean growled.
Pulling away from Sam you scowled at Dean as your head rested against his chest. “Ignore him, go to sleep.” Sam’s arm around your waist held you tighter as you slowly drifted off to sleep.
-
Wrapping an arm around his waist you nuzzled against his side.
“Sweetheart, I don’t think Sammy will be happy when he gets back to the car.” Dean’s voice made your eyes fly open.
“Where’s Sam?” You asked sitting up and pushing yourself away from Dean.
“Jack wanted snacks.”
“How long was I out?”
“Two hours.”
“Eugh.”
The door opened next to you as Sam got back in the car. “Did you wake her up, cause if you did you can deal with grumpy Y/N for the next four hours.”
“He didn’t wake me up.” Shaking your head you smiled at him. “Do we seriously have four more hours left?”
“Unfortunately.” Sam’s arm wrapped around your waist pulling you back into his lap.
“Can’t we just fly next time?”
“How the hell do you expect to get a gun through airport security?” Dean raised a brow at you.
“Shut up.”
“It’s four more hours then we’ll be at a motel okay?” Sam’s hand ran up and down your back.
Leaning up so you could whisper in his ear. “Can Dean babysit Cas and Jack tonight?” You asked as your hand ran across his chest.
“You two are just making it uncomfortable for everyone in the car now, you can take a second car in future.” Dean groaned. “Put her in the back.”
“I’m not going to put her anywhere,” Sam growled as his arm tightened around you.
“Whatever.”
“He’s just jealous.” Smiling up at Sam he leaned down kissing you hard.
“For God sake I need a water pistol or one of those things people spray cats with when they’re actin’ up.” Dean groaned as he started the car. “Seriously stop it!” He shoved Sam’s shoulder hard.
Pulling away from you Sam winked down at you. “Alright, alright, we’ll stop.” Relaxing in Sam’s arms you watched the road ahead.
“Castiel,” Jack whispered from the back seat.
“Yes, Jack.”
“Why do we need a babysitter?”
Sam’s head dropped to your shoulder muffling his laughter in the crook of your neck, clapping a hand over your mouth your stifled your own laughter.
“Seriously you two? It’s like I have four kids sometimes, as soon as we’re at a motel I want you two to stay away from me, I don’t want to see you for the rest of the night.”
“That’s all I wanted in the first place.”
Sam lifted his head still smiling at you. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” Smiling at him his lips crashed into yours.
The car swerved sharply before correcting sending your head flying into the window.
“What the fuck Dean?” Sam snapped his palm cupping your cheek. “You okay?” He asked you, you gave him a small nod. “What the hell was that?”
“Apparently until I can get a spray bottle I need to get physical to stop you two.”
“Sorry, Dean.” You apologised rubbing the back of your head.
“I can’t deal with this for four more hours.” He muttered as he pressed on the gas.
-
Dean pulled into the car park of a nicer than your usual motel, killing the engine he walked towards the reception leaving you with Sam and the celestial beings.
“Why is Dean so grumpy?” Jack asked as he turned to Cas.
“It’s us.” You answered with a smile. “We’re annoying him.” You stretched out your legs across Dean’s vacant spot.
Jack’s head cocked to the side as he looked at you. “How? You’re not annoying me?”
Sam chuckled. “Dean doesn’t like it when we’re lovey-dovey as he calls it.”
“Why?”
“Shouldn’t have opened my mouth.” You whispered hoping only Sam could hear but the way Jack’s brow creased you knew he’d heard it to. “Dean doesn’t like me Jack.”
“He does.” Sam countered.
“He doesn’t, you know it, I’m just another distraction for you, he thinks I’ll get you killed, speak of the devil.” You watched Dean walk towards the Impala.
Opening the driver's door he threw a key at you. “There, we’ll see you tomorrow for breakfast at the diner down the road at seven.”
“Night Dean.” You smiled at him.
“You two with me.” He pointed at Jack and Cas before he grabbed his bag out of the trunk and slammed it shut.
Getting out of the car you took a chance to properly stretch out reaching your arms up above your head you let out a sigh when you felt your shoulders pop. Sam grabbed your bag out of the trunk swinging it over his shoulder he took your hand leading you up the stairs towards your room, holding the door open for you he shut it behind you both checking it was locked.
“He doesn’t hate you.” He spoke as he turned to face you, walking towards you he dropped the bag onto the bed.
“Can we not talk about it, I’m tired, still a little grouchy and I just want to order takeout and cuddle you.” Sighing you fell backwards onto the bed. “The last thing I want to do is argue about your brother.”
“Takeout and cuddles it is then.” Flopping down next to you he wrapped his arms around you pulling you close. “I love you, you know that right?”
“I know and I love you too.”
-
You were already late and it was your fault, you’d snoozed the alarm twice more than you should have and now you were nearly 30 minutes late for breakfast.
“It will be fine.” Sam sighed as he watched you search for your phone around the motel room. “Y/N.” Stopping to look at you he held your phone out towards you. “Stop freaking out.”
“We’re late, he’s already in a bad mood, he’ll just shout at me more now.”
“He shouts at you, I hit him, simple, now c’mon, I know you’re hungry.” Taking his hand you walked out of your motel room and down the street towards the diner, silently preparing yourself for Dean to shout at you.
“Where the hell have you two been?” Dean looked up from his plate of grease, glaring at you.
“It’s my fault, snoozed the alarm,” Sam answered as he slid in the booth next to Jack pulling you to sit next to him.
“Can I get you two something to eat or drink?” A middle-aged woman smiled at you and Sam as she pulled a notepad and pen out of the pocket in her apron.
“Coffee, black and an omelette, thanks.”
“Sweetie?” She asked looking down at you.
“Just some coffee and toast please.”
“Coming right up.” She winked at Sam.
You could feel Dean’s eyes on you as you watched the waitress pour out two cups of coffee.
“Dean.” Jack broke the silence.
“What?”
“Why do you hate Y/N?”
“What?”
You looked up at Sam, Dean glancing at you.
“Why do you hate Y/N? She’s really nice and really pretty, I don’t understand why you hate her.”
“Jack, stop talking.” You interrupted him as you looked down at Sam’s hand on your thigh.
“Here we are.” The waitress placed two cups of coffee in front of you and Sam. “And your food, you two enjoy.”
Smiling at her you gave a small nod. “Thank you.”
As talk turned to the case you listened taking in as much information as you could while you tried to look anywhere but at the eldest Winchester. Dean didn’t even wait for you and Sam to finish eating before he was out of the booth and the diner.
Moving out of your seat you sat opposite Sam and Jack. “Jack, don’t talk to Dean about me, he’ll only get angry and take it out on you.”
“But -”
“Jack.” You snapped. “Just don’t okay?”
“Okay, Y/N.” Jack nodded as he picked up a forkful of waffles.
“So we’re on stakeout duty.” You looked up at your boyfriend.
“Apparently so.” He shrugged.
“I like stakeouts.” Jack smiled at you.
“Good, cause it’s gonna be a long day kid.”
--
Every single piece of intel you had was wrong, you were walking in blind. What you thought was just a slightly larger than normal vamps nest turned out to be a huge nest, the biggest any of you had ever seen, at least forty or fifty vamps.
You were fighting a losing battle.
Pushing Jack out of the abandoned barn door you told him to run back to the car and lock himself inside, he was a good hunter but this was too much for him to be dealing with this.
Shutting the door you could hear a snarl behind you, swinging your machete as you turned the vamps head rolled to the floor as his body dropped. Taking a breath you watched Dean drop two more vamps onto the pile quickly forming at his feet.
You didn’t see it, you didn’t hear him creep up behind you. You felt it. Teeth sinking into your neck, a scream ripped from your throat as he bit harder. Sam and Dean’s attention turned to you, Dean ran towards you shoving the vamp off you and swinging his machete hard.
Falling to your knees you tried to focus on Sam as he fought with two vampires.
Dean dropped down next to you, his hand covering the hole in your neck. “You’re okay, you’re gonna be okay.” He smiled down at you.
Shoving at his shoulder you tried to get him to leave you and help Sam. “Sammy.”
Dean glanced over his shoulder at his brother who now had control over the situation. “Sammy’s got it, there’s two left between Sam and Cas, it’s done.”
“Sam.”
“He’ll be in here in a minute, I’m gonna get you up and to the car.” Dean pulled off his jacket ripping off a sleeve he bunched up the only clean and non-vamp blood infected bit of clothing on him, taking your hand he made you hold it against your neck. “Apply pressure, if you feel like you’re gonna pass out you tell me.”
“Just go help Sam.” You pushed at him with your free hand. “You hate me anyway.”
“No.” Dean snapped. “We’re putting this to bed right now, I don’t hate you, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to Sam, better than Amelia, better than Jess, he’s so happy with you, Y/N I don’t hate you, I hate the idea of Sam losing you, of how devastated he’ll be if he ever has to go through the pain of losing you, Sam’s been through some shit, he’s been to hell and back, literally, but losing you, I don’t think he’d ever come back from that, If he loses you I lose him and I can’t lose him so I can’t lose you, keep pressure on your neck, I’m going to get you to the car.” Scooping you up into his arms his machete dropped to the floor.
Carrying you out towards the car he quickly got you settled in the backseat next to Jack, Dean’s hand on your neck was quickly replaced with Jack’s. “Keep your hand on it, I’m going to get Sam and Cas.”
You could feel your grip on consciousness slipping, pulling your phone out of your jeans pocket you handed it to Jack as your vision blurred. “Call Dean, tell him I need Sam.”
Jack took the phone from you holding it to his ear he pressed harder against your neck with his other hand. “Dean, it’s Y/N, hurry.”
“Tell Sam I love him.” Smiling at Jack you closed your eyes.
Opening your eyes you blinked into the dark room as you sat up trying to figure out where you were.
“Baby, you’re okay, we’re home, you’re alive.” Sam’s voice filled the room instantly putting you at ease as he walked towards you from the chair in the corner. “You’re safe, I’m here.”
“Sammy.” Reaching out for him his arms wrapped around your waist. “How?”
“Cas healed you as soon as we got to the car, Dean suggested you stay knocked out for the drive back so you could have a real rest.” His fingers ran through your hair as he lay you both down cradling your head against his chest. “When Jack called I thought you were gone.”
“I’m here, I’m okay.”
“Yeah you are.” You could feel him slowly relax next to you as he held you close, his fingers slowly stopped moving against your head as he slowly fell asleep.
You tried to sleep but you just couldn’t, watching Sam’s chest rise and fall was the only thing you could focus on.
The door to your room cracked open flooding the room with light, expecting it to be Jack checking up on you. “Bud can you -” Dean was stood in the doorway. “Dean, hi.”
“How’re you feeling?”
“Alive and like I’ve slept properly for the first time in years.”
“Good.”
“Thank you for saving me.”
“That’s what we do right? We look out for each other.” He smiled at you. “I’m just happy he's finally asleep, I was probably an hour from giving him moose tranquillizers, he’s been awake for nearly fifty hours watching you.”
“Dean-”
“No, listen, I’ve been an asshole to you ever since Sam told me about you and I was out of order, the way I was with you, I’m sorry, I know how much Sam loves you and how much you love him, I hate seeing my little brother hurt.”
“Dean, I’m not going to hurt him.”
“You can say that but what happens if he loses you on a hunt? That will hurt him and it’ll hurt like hell.”
“Well then, I never intend to hurt him, Dean I love him, I really do and I intend to spend the rest of my life with him, whatever this fucked up world dares to throw at us we’ll deal with it, between the five of us, our family we can handle it, there’s no way you’re getting rid of me that easy Winchester.”
Dean smiled at you as he rested against your door frame.
“What?”
“You’re a fighter.”
“That a bad thing?”
“Exactly the opposite, it’s exactly what makes you a Winchester, get some sleep sweetheart, I’m making us all breakfast tomorrow.”
Characters - Reader, Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Justin Chambers, Kevin McKidd, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Richard Speight Jr.
Warnings - Fluff, drinking, flirting, future affair.
Word count - 2.4k.
Summary - You were happy on Grey’s Anatomy, you felt at home there but when a guest role on Supernatural is offered you’d be a fool to say no. When the guest role becomes a more permanent thing, your relationship with your co-star Jensen Ackles develops too, into something it really shouldn’t.
A/N - So ... just a quick heads up characters mentioned not from the cast of supernatural will be the cast of Grey’s Anatomy, if you don’t watch the show it doesn’t matter at all just see them as ocs unless you’d like to google it’s completely up to you and your reading preference.
“That won’t work Derek and you know it, it was a stupid idea and you shouldn’t have ever roped me in, if you’ll excuse me, I have to tell a woman her son will not be making it off the table.” Ripping off your scrub cap you turned on your heel walking out of the shot.
Behind you, the rest of the scene played out Patrick acting everything out perfectly.
“Cut!” The director shouted across the small room. “That was perfect! I love working with you two, always means I can go home early.” She smiled at you. “Take ten and we’ll crack on with this afternoon shall we?”
Walking back to your trailer it still hadn’t fully sunk in how lucky you are even after all these years. Acting was hard, getting a break in acting harder however you seemed to be one of the lucky ones. All your previous roles had been at home in England until you made the move to LA. Grey’s Anatomy had been one of your favourite shows for years, so when you got cast as Doctor Lily Grey a long-lost sister of the main character you felt like you’d actually made it somewhere in life.
“Y/N!” Ellen shouted running to catch up to you.
“Yeah?” Spinning around to face her.
“Meeting.”
“Since when do we have a meeting at a quarter to four?”
“Since now.” She shrugged walking back towards set next to you.
“You know you play my sister you’re not actually my sister.”
“Sometimes I feel like I am.” She stopped walking her hand on your back ushering you towards the closed door to one of the operating room setups.
“Why are we here? What’s happened to the conference room?”
“Nothing, just open it and go in.”
“Are you going to kill me?” Laughing you turned to face her.
“Just go on.” Rolling her eyes she gave you a small push.
Opening the door the room was pitch black, stepping in the room the lights flicked on, the whole cast and crew stood in front of you, party poppers went off as everyone shouted “Happy Birthday!”
“Guys!” Smiling at them you were pulled into a group hug.
The afternoon was spent eating snacks and cake with the cast and crew before rushing home to get ready for the surprise meal and drinks Ellen had planned for you.
-
Walking into the restaurant the table was covered in pink and black glitter, matching balloons floated above the table. “Happy Birthday!” Everyone shouted raising their glasses, a glass of champagne handed to you by Patrick Dempsey.
“Happy Birthday darling.” He whispered kissing your cheek. “Enjoy tonight.”
“Thanks, I will.”
Hours ticked by as you ate and drank with your friends, drinking maybe a little too much.
Staggering outside the warm LA air not doing much to warm you up, wrapping your arms around your waist you waited for the stragglers to follow you out.
“Y/N! You left your coat inside.” Justin Chambers walked toward you your leather jacket in hand.
“Thanks, babe.” Taking it from him you struggled to put it on, staggering away from Justin your back collided with something solid.
“Oof.” Someone huffed behind you.
Turning around you finally got your arm in the sleeve. “I’m so sorry.” Pulling your sleeve down, looking up you took a step back. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay.” The man smiled down at you.
Your brain finally caught up with your eyes, you’d fallen into the chest of Jensen Ackles. “You’re Dean Winchester, oh God you’re so pretty.”
“You’re Lily Grey, you’re pretty too.”
“I’m so sorry.” Apologising again you tried to sound as sober as you could but couldn’t help but grin at him.
“Y/N.” Justin walked towards you. “You good?”
“Mhm fine.” You watched over Justin’s shoulder as the rest of the group practically fell out of the bar door. “Mr Dean, Jensen, I’m sorry.”
“Stop apologising.” He laughed, his hand reaching out grabbing your bicep he steadied you. “Have you had a good night?”
“So fun.”
“Good.” Smiling down at you his eyes crinkled as he let you go.
Kevin McKidd walked towards you plonking a tiara on your head and kissing your cheek.
“Is it your birthday?” Jensen asked. Nodding your eyes shifted to the two men who had stopped next to Jensen. “Y/N, this is Jared and Misha.”
“Hi.” You waved at them despite how close you were to them.
“Y/N! Where’s Y/N?” Ellen called from the main group of drunk tv Doctors.
“She’s here!” Jared called raising a hand giving her a wave.
“Oh my God.” She sighed walking towards you. “I’m sorry.” She took your hand properly looking at the men in front of her. “You’re the guys from Supernatural.”
“Yeah, we are.” Jensen nodded with a smile.
“Y/N, come on!” Kevin called waving you toward him.
Turning you tried to walk towards him, Ellen quickly pulled you back. “Hey, no, you’ll end up coming home at seven am again.”
“Mhm okay.”
“Cabs are here!” Someone from the group called.
“Okay, so we’re going, enjoy the rest of your night.”
“Bye Mr Dean, Castiel and Sammy!” Waving at them Justin wrapped his arm around your waist walking you towards the taxi.
-
With each blink, the pounding in your head intensified. A glass of water sat on your bedside table half drunk with a bottle of aspirin and a note.
‘I’ll explain everything you’re fuzzy on, take a few pills, drink up, I’m on the couch.’
After reading Justin’s drunkenly scrawled note you threw your arm over your eyes trying to block out the light. “Justin?” Calling out your voice cracked.
Your bedroom door opened, Justin walked in 2 cups of coffee in his hands. “How’re you feeling?” He handed you a cup of coffee.
“Like I was hit by a truck.” Sighing you rested back against the pillows.
“Give me a few.” Justin put his coffee cup on the empty bedside table leaving you alone in bed. You listened to him shuffling around in the kitchen. “Here.” He walked back in with a pizza box in his hands.
“Oh thank God!” Grabbing a slice you sat back, Derek, your Dachshund jumped up on your bed staring at you wide-eyed. Taking a picture of your coffee cup on your bed you uploaded it to Instagram, thanking your friends for last night.
“Did you feed him?” Asking him you stroked Derek’s fur as he nuzzled against your side sniffing at the pizza crust in your hand.
“Yeah, I did.”
“Thanks.” Taking another bite of the crust you gave the rest to Derek. “I don’t know why you put up with me.”
“I just do.”
“You seriously slept on the couch?”
“Yeah, I’m in the same state you’re in.” Justin groaned falling back next to you.
“Someone should have cut us off.”
“Yeah.” He laughed. “You were funny though.”
“What?” Why? What did I do?” You sat up looking at him.
“We ran into the guys from Supernatural.”
“What?”
“You walked straight into Jensen Ackles literally, then you had a little chat with him, I think you called him pretty at one point.”
“No-”
“Yep, they didn’t seem to mind though.”
“Oh my God.”
Your phone dinged from your bedside table.
‘Jensen Ackles followed you.’
‘Jensen Ackles liked your photo.’
‘Jensen Ackles commented on your photo ‘Enjoy your pizza, Miss Lily, Y/N and happy birthday.’
“Well, he’s fine with it.”
“Who?” Justin asked gulping a mouthful of coffee.
“Jensen, he just followed me and commented about last night, can I go back to sleep yet?”
“God yes.” Taking the pizza box off the bed he put it on the table next to him. “I already need a nap.”
--
“How’s your head today?” Patrick asked a day later handing you a cup of coffee.
“It’s fine today, yesterday was the killer, there was a lot of coffee and pizza.” Fixing your scrubs you looked back up at him. “You?”
“Fine.”
Your phone rang in your pocket, not looking at the caller ID you answered. “Hello?” Patrick smiled at you taking a few steps away from you, leaving you to talk alone.
“Good morning Y/N, how was your birthday?” Dave your agent asked.
“It was great thanks, how are you?”
“I’m good, so I have some news for you.”
“Which is?”
“You’re wanted.”
“By -”
“Supernatural.”
“What?”
“There’s a guest role, a hunter and you’re perfect for it, honestly you are, they’ve reached out asking if you’d want to play a badass hunter.”
“Do you have the script?”
“Already emailed over to you.” You could hear Dave smirk down the line. “Have a read through and let me know as soon as you can.”
“Will do.”
“Bye.” Dave hung up.
Patrick smiled at you. “What are you so happy about?”
“I may have just got a guest role on Supernatural.”
“You love that show.”
“Yeah, I do.”
“How are you going to work on two shows?”
“It’s only a guest role I can juggle it, I haven’t even accepted it yet.”
In the 3 years, you’d worked on Grey’s you’d quickly made friends with everyone, Patrick and Ellen were closest, they were practically your on and off screen parents, always keeping you in check.
-
“Y/N!” Jared shouted you from across the lot as you were halfway through your tour.
“Jared! Hey!” Grinning at him you gave him quick hug.
“Are you filming today?”
“Not today, we’re on a little tour.”
“Want me to take over?” Jared looked at the PA whos name you were yet to learn.
“If that’s okay, I have a load to do.” She pulled out her phone almost running off immediately.
“Lead the way, Padalecki.”
“Sure thing Y/L/N.” Crooking his arm he held it out for you, linking your arm through his he led you around the set.
Hours later you held a cup of coffee in your hands allowing the heat to warm up your hands. “It’s so cold, oh my God, I hate winter.”
“Yeah.” Jared nodded. “It is.”
“I thought you’d be used to the cold being British.” Misha smiled at you.
“Kind of, I think over the years I’ve got used to LA weather.”
“Wait how long have you lived in LA for?” Misha asked Jensen walked toward the 3 of you.
“Hi.” He smiled at you.
“Hi, erm 3 years.” You answered Misha.
“Have you been home a lot?” Jared asked.
“I go back every few months when I can.” You tried to focus on Jared as Jensen sat opposite you. “I actually want to apologise for my state in LA.”
“It was interesting.” Jensen winked at you.
“I’m sorry.”
“Stick around here for long enough you’ll see us all in much worse states.” Jensen chuckled his eyes drifting to Jared. “In fact, we can tell you some stories.”
Crawling into bed 4 hours later you were still giggling at the tales the boys had told you, pulling the sheets up checking on your phone you dropped it down onto the bedside table. Falling asleep with a smile on your face you were going to enjoy spending time with this cast, they’d already made you feel at home.
-
“Morgan.” Dean ran across the parking lot as you threw your bag onto the back seat of your car.
“Yes, Winchester?” Turning to face him, you caught a glimpse of Sam disappearing into the motel room.
Dean came to a stop in front of you. “Hey, erm listen, I just wanna say thank you, I know we barged in on your hunt, took it over and in the end you were the one to save our asses.”
“Damn right.” Smirking up at him.
“So I just want to say thank you and if you ever need any help you have my number.” He took a step closer to you, closing the gap.
Smiling up at him your back was pressed up against the side of your car. “I’m sure I can cope.”
“If you need me.” Dean’s fingertips tucked hair behind your ear. “For anything.” He leaned in his lips brushed against yours waiting for you to kiss him or kick his ass.
Your hand ran up his chest, patting it you pushed him away slightly. “If I need you, Winchester, I’ll call.” Your hand moved across his chest grabbing the lapel of his suit jacket pulling him back against you, leaning up you kissed him hard. Pulling away you smiled up at him. “Like I said I’ll call.”
Dean took a step backwards.
“Goodbye Dean Winchester.”
“See ya around Wilson.” Dean grinned at you as he watched you get into your car, roaring your car to life, your eyes roaming his body.
“Need you, call, I got it, Dean.” Slamming the door shut you opened the window.
“Morgan.” Leaning down he rested his forearms on the door. “Don’t be a stranger.”
“Dean, I’m sure we’ll be seeing each other very soon.” Dean took a step back from your car.
“And cut!” Speight shouted from behind the camera. “That’s a wrap on the amazing Miss Y/L/N!”
Getting out of the car Jensen’s arms wrapped around you. “It’s been great working with you.”
“You too.”
“We’re going for drinks tonight right?” Jared asked, as soon as you were out of Jensen’s arms Jared gave you a bone-crushing hug.
“Hell yeah.” Nodding, Jared let you go. “I have a few people I need to talk to before I leave set, I love you both I’ll see you tonight but I gotta run.”
“You go, we’ll pick you up at seven.” Jensen smiled down at you.
-
Leaving Vancouver was hard, sure you’d been here for a week but the friendships you’d formed were real. Arriving back in LA taking the time you were stuck in traffic to call Dave.
“Hello?” He answered.
“Dave, Hi I -”
“Y/N, I was just about to call you, the guys over on Supernatural loved you and they want to talk about making your role something more permanent.”
“What?”
“Yeah, they adored you, they want to progress her relationship with Dean.”
“Really?”
“Yes, they think there is a real connection and chemistry between Morgan and Dean.”
“You’re kidding?”
“Nope, they want to explore it.”
“Yes.”
“Yes?”
“Yes.”
“I’ll let them know, congratulations.” He hung up quickly, obviously wanting to get the ball rolling.
Finishing your phone call you dropped your phone into your lap slightly in shock, you’d just landed another role on a TV show you’d loved for years, this wasn’t real, this was a dream. Your phone vibrating in your lap.
‘Welcome to the family.’ Jensen’s text lit up on your screen.

Walking through the airport pulling your case you checked your phone to see nothing from your brother. So much for “I’ll be waiting for you in the arrivals hall.”
‘Are you here?’ Firing off a text you stuffed your phone back in your pocket scanning the crowd for a familiar face. Your phone vibrated in your pocket.
‘Keep walking and look up.’ Reading his text you looked up to see Jensen walking towards you, a grin on his face.
“Hey, pip.”
“Hey, Jense.” Wrapping your arms around him careful of the tray of coffee in his hand, his arm giving your waist a squeeze.
“How was your flight?” He asked his arm dropping from you.
“Fine, please tell me one of those is for me?”
Pulling a cup from the tray he held it out to you. “Of course it is, what do you want to do? Drop your bags off at mine or?”
“Whatever you want to do, you’re the big shot TV star.”
Rolling his eyes at you. “Come on.” Leaning down he took your case pulling it behind you both walked out of the terminal to his car.
--
“Jared!” Jensen called out as a shaggy-haired man ran towards a trailer.
Skidding to a halt he turned to face the two of you. “Yeah?”
“You busy?” Jensen asked as you walked towards him.
Shaking his head he smiled at you. “No, what’s up?”
“I just wanted you to meet my little sister, this is Y/N.”
“Hi, You’re the other Winchester right?” Asking you looked up at him. God he was tall, you thought your brother was tall but Jared towered over you both.
Jared held his hand out. “Yeah, I am, you’re the other Ackles then?”
Shaking his hand you nodded at him. “I am.”
“You haven’t watched the show yet have you?” Jensen interrupted you, the look you gave him was enough for him to roll his eyes. “Y/N, it’s been on for nearly a month!”
“Jensen this is the first time in like six months I’ve had off work, Mom said it’s -”
“We could watch it tonight.” Jared jumped in, glancing at Jensen. “All of us ... all three of us ... not you and me.” He gestured between the two of you. “Him … he’d be there.” He pointed at your brother, his cheeks slowly turning pink.
“Yeah that would be great, we’re going for dinner later, do you wanna come with?” Smiling up at him you couldn’t stop the words from coming out of your mouth.
“Sure.” Jared stopped looking at Jensen his eyes falling on you.
Jensen grabbed your elbow giving it a squeeze. “Come on, we’ve got the whole set and a few hundred people to meet, Jared dinner at seven?”
“Yeah, that’s great.” Jared looked up at Jensen. “I’ll text you anyway, it was great to meet you Y/N, see you both later.”
“Bye Jared.” Smiling you watched him walk towards his trailer.
“Oh God, you’re going to cause me so much stress, I’ll be bald by the time I’m thirty.”
“What?”
“Shut up, come on.” He gently pulled you in the opposite direction to Jared.
Jensen decided to miss going for dinner and instead ordered take out. Sitting on his couch you grabbed another slice of pizza waiting for him to play the 3rd episode. It was weird watching your brother on the TV, watching him play a badass when in reality he was the softest person you knew. He’d get protective as hell over you, he’d threatened every ex-boyfriend you’d had letting them know what would happen if they hurt you, he only kept his promise once when your high school boyfriend cheated on you, he came back to school on Monday with one hell of a shiner.
You found your eyes gravitating towards Jared on the screen, trying not to smile when Sam did, he was sat right next to you for God sake you needed a reality check.
“So…” Jensen smirked waiting for your response as the credits of the 4th episode played.
“Yeah, alright, it’s good, I may even start watching it.” Giving him a quick hug you smiled at him. “I’m proud of you.”
“You’re proud of me? I fight monsters on TV.” He chuckled.
“I am, I’m proud of you Jense.”
--
You spent 90% of your visit on set with the boys, watching from behind the cameras as they acted. Jared walked towards you as Jensen did a scene with an actress who you hadn’t been introduced to yet. “Hey.”
“Hi.” Smiling at him you had no idea how he was single, he was gorgeous and one of the nicest men you’d ever met.
“I’m gonna get food do you wanna come with me?” He asked nodding towards the door stuffing his hands in his jeans pockets.
“Sure.”
-
“Is the food always this good?” You asked grabbing another forkful of pasta.
Jared nodded shoving another fry into his mouth.
“There’s no way you’re going to eat all of that.” Pointing at the overflowing plate in front of him.
“I will, I’m big.”
Choking on a piece of pasta you reached for your water washing it down. “What?”
Jared looked up at you with wide eyes the realisation of his words clear on his face. “No, I didn’t mean...shit... I’m tall that’s what I meant.”
Jared’s trailer door opened clattering against the wall. “You two best be keepin’ it PG in here,” Jensen called out walking in with a cup of coffee.
“Some of us are.” Winking at Jared his head dropped trying to hide the blush on his cheeks.
“As long as everyone keeps their pants on.” Jensen chuckled sitting next to Jared. “I don’t need you two ganging up on me.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it, I know you wouldn’t hesitate to put me in a headlock.”
“You may be twenty-one but I’ll still kick your ass,” Jensen smirked at you.
“And just for that, you can clean up my plate.” Getting up you pushed the plate across the table towards your brother. “I need to start packing anyway.”
“You leave in two days.”
“Yeah, and I have stuff all over your place.”
“Whatever, enjoy, I’ll see you tonight.” He waved you away.
“Okay, see you tomorrow Jared.” Giving him a small wave you left them to it, walking towards the rental car, searching for the keys in your bag.
“Y/N, hey wait up.” Jared ran towards you.
“Yeah?” Looking up from your bag you turned to face him.
“Erm…” He glanced over his shoulder at his trailer. “Do you want to go to dinner tonight?” Rubbing the back of his neck he smiled down at you.
“Yeah, I’d love to.”
He grinned down at you. “Great, I’ll pick you up at six.”

“That’s all of them right?” Jensen asked dropping the sealed box onto the dining room table. “How do you have so many clothes?” He kicked at the box near his foot.
“Hey, stop kicking my stuff.”
“This really is it right?” Jared asked dropping another box of clothes onto the floor as he kicked the front door closed behind you all.
“Yeah, this is it.” Perching on the edge of the table you watched Jensen flop down onto the small space on the couch not occupied by moving boxes.
“Why the hell did you two decide to move in on the same weekend? This is going to take you so long to sort everything out.”
“You mean us right? You’re staying, you agreed to help us move in.”
“Well, I didn’t know you’d both have so much shit.” He slumped further into the couch.
Jared’s arms wrapped around your waist his chin rested on top of your head. “You do have a lot of clothes.”
“Are you two ganging up on me?”
“Wouldn’t dream of it, baby.” Leaning forwards he kissed your cheek.
“Enough with the PDA.” Jensen rolled his eyes as he got up from the couch. “Sasquatch, come on we need to build the bedside tables.”
“I’ll start with the kitchen then.” Focusing your attention on unboxing everything for the kitchen, you got halfway through the 2nd box when the arguing in the bedroom got too loud to ignore.
“It’s the other one, it’s not this one dumbass,” Jensen growled. “Just give it to me.”
Setting a stack of plates down on the countertop you walked toward the master bedroom. “What the hell is going on in here?”
“You’re dating a dumbass.” Jensen rolled his eyes at Jared.
“Apparently my furniture putting together skills aren’t up to your brother’s standards.”
Walking across the room you sat next to Jared watching as Jensen fought with some nails and wood. “Need a hand?”
“Shut up, I’ve got this,” Jensen growled Jared’s arm wrapped around your his hand resting on your hip. “You know you two tell each other to shut up a lot.”
“We have since I was like five, it’s a reflex.” Smiling up at him you watched your brother continue to struggle, biting your lip you tried to stop the laughter knowing if you laughed he’d throw something at your head.
Jared gave your hip a squeeze. “I love you.”
Leaning up your cheek rested on his shoulder. “I love you too Padalecki.” Leaning down his lips brushed against yours.
“Fuck it!” Jensen dropped the wood and nails to the floor. “You two can live with one bedside table, I’m done.”
“Give it here.”
“Like you can do better.” Jensen scoffed.
“Why don’t you go and unpack the kitchen and I’ll finish this.”
Getting up he shrugged mumbling as he left you and Jared alone.
“Want me to help?”
“No, go help him, the idiot will probably break something.”
“I heard that!” Jensen shouted from the other room.
“You were meant to!”
It took all day but you were both all moved in you gave up when you got to your boxes of clothes. Jared has less so it was so much easier for him to dig through, he’d managed to find a shirt for you to sleep in.
“Doors locked.” Jared crawled into bed next to you.
“Can you believe this?”
Jared’s arm slipped under your shoulders pulling you against his chest. “That I’m officially living with the most beautiful woman in the world? Not really.”
“Stop it.”
“Are you happy?” He asked before kissing your cheek.
“So happy.” Leaning up you kissed him your hand cupping his cheek. “I love you.” Mumbling against his lips.
“Y/N?”
“Jared?” You pulled away slightly.
“You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” His lips attacked yours. “I love you, fuck I love you so much.” He mumbled kissing down your neck.
“Jare?”
“Yeah?”
“The door is one hundred percent locked right?”
“Yeah, why?” He pulled away looking at you with a furrowed brow.
“I don’t want Jensen walking in seeing something he shouldn’t.”
“Stop talking about your brother when you’re half-naked on me!”

“Are you sure you’re okay with this?” Turning around you asked Jensen as you put your earrings in.
“Sure, he’s a good kid.” He shrugged taking a sip of his beer. “And I trust you both.”
Jared knocked on the front door, walking towards it Jensen was up and at the door opening it. Jared stood there in a pair of dark jeans, white shirt and black jacket, a bunch of pink and white carnations in his hand.
“Hi.” Jared smiled over your brother's shoulder at you.
“Hi.” Grabbing your clutch you walked towards him.
“These are for you.” He held the flowers out to you, his cheeks slowly turning pink.
“Well, I didn’t think they’d be for me.” Jensen sassed.
“Would you shut up.” Taking the flowers you handed them to Jensen. “Can you put these in water for me please?”
“Sure, you two have fun, Jared have her home by midnight and you hurt her I’ll kill you,” Jensen warned.
“Ignore him, let's go.”
“Lead the way, miss Ackles.” His hand rested on your lower back, the gentle touch already making you blush.
--
“Is this weird?” Jared asked taking a sip of wine.
“Not really, is it weird for you?”
“No, I just, with Jensen being with your brother.”
“Let’s stop talking about my brother.” Smiling a Jared you tried no to melt as he flashed you a dimple popping grin. “So…”
-
“You’re flying back to LA tomorrow right?” Jared asked as you walked down the street.
“Tomorrow night yeah.”
“So…” Jared came to a stop turning to face him, his fingertips ran down your arm his hand slipping into yours, your fingers interlinking with yours. “When am I going to see you again?”
“That depends.”
“On what?” Jared’s free hand cupped your cheek.
“When do you want to see me?”
“Every day.” Leaning down his lips pressed against yours kissing you hard, his hand dropped yours cupping the back of your head. Running your hand your palm fisted in his shirt, pulling away he grinned down at you. “I’m serious.” His hand dropped to your waist.
“We’ve been on one date.”
“First of many.” Leaning down he pecked your lips.
“Oh my God! You’re Dean from Gilmore Girls.” A woman screeched next to the 2 of you.
Jared pulled away straightening up. “Yeah...erm I am.” He gave her a quick smile.
“Can I get your autograph?” She grinned up at him already digging through her purse before pulling out a diary, finding an empty page she rummaged for a pen.
“Sorry.” Jared mouthed over the fan. With a signature and a quick hug later the woman was on her way with a smile on her face.
“I’m really sorry about that.” Jared took your hand as you walked back to his car.
“It’s fine, you know how many times it happens with Jensen? It’s always little old ladies who loved him in days of our lives who come up asking for an autograph or a hug.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, ask him about the lady who interrupted our breakfast at IHOP.” You couldn’t help but laugh at the memory.
“That good?”
“Handsy.”
“Oh, I can’t wait to ask him.” Jared chuckled.
“He’ll hate me for it.”
“He’d never hate you.” Reaching the car he waited for you to get in before getting in the driver's seat.
Smiling at him he looked down at your with a furrowed brow. “What?”
“Nothing.”
--
“Do you want to get coffee tomorrow?” Jared asked stopping outside Jensen’s door giving your hand a small squeeze before letting go.
“Yeah that would be great.”
“I’ll meet you at one?”
“Sounds perfect.”
Jared’s head dipped down kissing you his hand cupping your cheek. Sighing he pulled away. “I like you Y/N.”
“I like you too Jared.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow, night Y/N.”
“Goodnight Jared.” Leaning up you kissed him quickly before knocking on the door behind you. Watching him walk away you gave up trying not to smile as he gave you a small wave before disappearing into the elevator.
The door behind you opened “Do I need to kick his ass?” Jensen rested against the door frame.
“Nope.” Spinning around you walked into the guest room to change into some pyjamas.
You heard the front door shut. “So do I actually have to kick his ass?”
“Nope! He was lovely.” Letting your hair down and grabbing your brush off the end of the bed you walked back into his lounge dropping down on the couch.
“And…” Jensen sat down next to you handing you a beer.
“We went for dinner, had a walk it was really nice.” Taking a sip of beer you shrugged not really wanting to get into the ins and outs of your date with your brother's co-star.
“So if I don’t have to kick his ass should I start writing my best man speech now?”
