Luffyko was sure she’d never find her soulmate. All her friends had found theirs by now and Luffyko was still without one. She heard stories that sometimes people could end up without ever finding their soulmate, but that just made her sad thinking that she would never find that person that would be just for her. At one point she had dated a man called Law, but that didn’t work out so well for either them.

Luffyko had since then mostly given up on ever finding her soulmate, but was still holding onto a silver of hope that maybe that person was out there. Luffyko had to get to work today and so far was failing at making it there. It was pouring outside and she had forgotten her umbrella too so that didn’t help. If she showed up at the gym, where she worked, all covered in mud that would be bad. Her manager sure wouldn’t be pleased with her, and she had already gotten in trouble these past few days and didn’t want to get him more mad.

Currently she was trying to figure out how to run to the bus stop on the other side of the street without falling flat on her face or getting soaked to the bone. As a car drove by splashing water just barely missing her, that task seemed impossible. “Seriously not one of you cars can slow down?” she grumbled to herself. Looking at both sides of the street Luffyko dared to cross the street dodging cars and hearing angry honks at her. She made it to the bus stop and cheered. “I made it!” She had managed to cross the street without getting dirty or too wet. Sitting on the dry bus station seat, she let out a pleased sigh.

When she looked up she saw another girl, and it didn’t seem like luck was on her side. The girl was also trying to get to the same bus stop as Luffyko was at. She could tell since she kept looking at where Luffyko was. The purple haired girl dashed across the street and just when Luffyko thought she would get away dry, a car came and splashed water soaking the girl’s back. Luffyko couldn’t help but let out a laugh seeing the girl’s face scrunch up in disgust as she made the walk of soaking to Luffyko and sat next to her. “It’s not that funny” the girl mumbles. Luffyko giggles “I’m sorry I couldn’t help myself. You just looked so pleased and then the car came and got you wet. ”“I was happy. I thought I would stay mostly dry, but now I got to go to the gym wet” she groans. “Which gym?” asks Luffyko. “The one where the cafe with the fish sign is” she replies.“Oh! That’s where I work at. I can dry your clothes for you there” she says. “I’m Luffyko by the way” Luffyko moves her hand out to shake the girls’ hand. The girl smiles and shakes her hand “Kai nice to meet you” Luffyko smiled and then gasped seeing the girl’s chest glow. Looking down she saw her own chest glow and smiled. “I finally found you!” she cheered hugging Kai.Kai let out a surprised yelp blushing. “Ah, well I didn’t think I’d meet my soulmate soaked by the rain, but oh well”
