Short Drabble:

//Mention: of almost hanging

Ace was always down in luck. It didn’t matter how many times he got a second chance. No matter who helped him. He was always finding his life on the edge or nearly dying. As case in point he was being accused of stealing some kind item from the town he was passing thru. He was only passing through!! And yet here he was stuck at the gallows because that is what fate had decided his life would be. It wouldn’t be great, it wouldn’t be okay. It would just end here being accused of something he didn’t do.

He couldn’t do anything as his hands were tied behind his back. The rope cutting his skin whenever he tried to loosen them. This was his trial, as he stood there waiting to be hanged. He was the town decide he was guilt when he had never committed such crimes. To die without achieving anything; much less dying over something he had never done. It was a pitiful death. The crack of the whip brought him back from his musing over his own thoughts and climbed the steps. Each wooden step creaked under his weight. At the moment, each crack sounded like a scream of the damned who had to walk these steps to their deaths.

He climbed the last step and stood up unsure whether to protest for his life one more time or just to give up. His mind was quickly made up when the itchniess and heaviness around his was formed from the noose. Ace wanted to live. Damned be his lack of luck.

“Any last words?” The priest zsks Ace as Ace spotted a floating fairy.

“Yea i do. Fairy do you think you could help me out?” asks Ace. “you help me and i help you” That was apparently all that was needed to be said. The black haired fairy, quickly flew to him and started to undo his noose.

“If you don’t have anymore. Then lets continue. Drop him”

Ace could feel the floor give out. “Wait!” *He was already falling and where should have went the snap of his neck. But it was gone. He looks to see the fairy floating above the now broken noose. It floated so proudly.

“Yes yes good job and I’m sure they’ll be looking into phone usage.” *sighs ace. The fair tinkles agreeing“ we can’t get out too early. By the way whats your name?

The fairy smiled meed. “luffy” and with that Ace ran off with Luffy.

Due to an unfortunate series of events, my laptop’s graphics card no longer functions. I’ve tried every software related fix but this thing just isn’t working. I dearly need a functional GPU for my laptop to be able to handle my research (in computer science) and running Clip Studio Paint (an art application) smoothly. 

For the sake of funding repairs (~$150) or getting a new laptop (~$600) I will be opening up sketch requests and donations on Paypal.
