The three older girls have decorated their room with lots of photo collages, trinkets, and different lights. It always smells like a mixture of all of their perfumes and about 3 different candles, which can take some getting used to. Sora’s space heater is always on to combat their apartments terrible insulation, and also keeps the place feeling extra cozy. Mijoo and Soo-Gook share a bunk bed (Mijoo on top and Soo-Gook on bottom) and Sora has a loft bed with their makeshift home recording studio underneath.
Sora’s style takes a lot of inspiration from 90′s and 2000′s fashion with as well as the more current trend of subverted basics. She switches between bright and colorful looks and more dark ones, but either way many elements, like large patterns and prints, mini skirts/dresses, and sheer materials stay the same.
Sora grew up in a farming town with her parents and younger brother. While they had enough money to get by, things were always tight and there wasn’t a lot of room for extra expenses.
She started dance lessons when she was very young and discovered hip hop and street dancing on Youtube when she was in middle school and fell in love with it.
Her journey exploring the underground dance scene in her city also led her to find videos of local rappers at rap battles and concerts. She thought their stage presence and clever lyrics were so captivating that she began trying to write her own.
All throughout high school she was writing and producing music in her bedroom and posting it to her Soundcloud. By the time she was graduating she was pretty good at it, and even started helping other kids in her area who had an interest in music by recording and helping them produce their songs.
All of this caught the attention of Kim Lena who asked if she had any interest in being a trainee. Sora had been inspired by other rappers turned idols, like RM, Suga and Bobby, and decided to give it a try.
