Following the theme, In America: An Anthology of Fashion, Lisbeth arrived at the carpet with a custom corseted dress with black gloves. Her heels, although simple, had the classic Vivienne Westwood pearls along her ankle, she also wore a choker of the same material on her neck. On a more subtle note, Lisbeth’s other partnership, Van Cleef & Arpels, marked their presence in the singer’s outfit with the earrings, which are from their Romeo & Juliet high jewelry collection. Her hair was styled half up, half down with a black ribbon behind.

the artists got a lot of attention for looking amazing and for keeping to the gilded glamor theme of the gala, gaining a lot of positive attention on social media. they were the talk of the day, especially about their outfits, which were designed by christian dior and were from the same winter collection. the quartet posted a lot of photos on social media together, celebrating this magnificent moment where they could simply relax and have fun!
their afterparty outfits still kept to the theme and were a simpler version of their extravagant dresses. instead of puffy skirts and big sleeves, they were showing off their figures with a simple bodice and fancy masks covering half of their faces. many people commented how it was very simple but they made it look good for the afterparty!

The girls were so happy! They waited a lot for their debut so they were really excited. They were all smiles at every schedule and fans could see how genuinely they wanted to be there.
They were also really nervous, as they wanted to do everything perfectly and not let their new fans down.
MVSK was pretty popular among fans, they loved the concept and the outfits behind it and became an overall fan-favorite song.
They were really praised for the performance factor and for overall being all-rounders, soon gaining the title of monster rookies.
Artemis was a quite awaited debut since both KQ and Lumiére debuted high quality boy groups before and they did not disappoint! Luna stayed on a high position in the charts for quite some time!
They managed to get two wins with the title track! Making them the fastest group in both companies to get their first win. All of them cried during their first win, even Sujin.
Production was mainly on Lumiére’s side + Hyojin, with EDEN only working on the title track. Aries was starting to grow as a fan-favorite as his work with Tempe5t was already praised by the fans on social media, the same happening with Artemis.
Fans quickly realized how they were also variety stars! Their chaotic personalities took over twitter like a storm.
The styling was also really praised! Lumiére spent money on those outfits and it was noticeable.

Chaeyoung knows that she’s doing something wrong, but she can’t stop.
She knew she’d probably be dead by the morning, either because she didn’t invite Jinah to come with her or because Bibi will probably be infuriated if she finds out about her irresponsibility. I shouldn’t be doing this, she tries to tell herself in a attempt to give this idea up and go back to the dorms as if nothing happened. But now, Chaeyoung comes to terms with the fact that there’s no turning back when the elevator’s door opens and reveals the ground floor of Oneq’s dorm building. She leaves by the entrance and sees the black car waiting for her on the front.
She’s always been a free spirit, it always got her in a lot of trouble, but she can’t help it. Typical, being rebellious makes her feel alive, it makes her think that life might actually have a purpose after all. She knows she shouldn’t feel like that, she just debuted and has a whole career waiting for her, but she wanted more. Did she? Or is that another excuse that she gives herself to justify her need to fill the void inside her?
But it was not the time to think about that.
Chaeyoung enters the car’s back seat and closes the door behind her, seeing two of her close friends on the front seat. Oliver is in the passenger’s seat, he waved to her but didn’t say anything as he had a lollipop in his mouth; Sujin is in the driver’s seat, smiling at her old friend.
“Hey.” The youngest greeted her, as she already began to drive.
“Hey,” Chaeyoung returned the smile excintigly. “Thank god you didn’t put Oliver in charge of the steering wheel this time around.” She laughed, while the boy took the lollipop out of his mouth and directed a shocked stare at her. “Did i lie?”
“No, you definitely didn’t.” Sujin added, leaving Oliver sulking on his seat while she focused her eyes on the road. Sujin may be irresponsible on a lot of matters, but she didn’t want to get in a car accident because of her just as irresponsible friends.
After some seconds of silence, Oliver turned around to look at Chaeyoung, who was busy observing the streets of Seoul, it was still relatively crowded even though it was late, but Seoul's a city that’s famous for a lot of things, including its clubs.
“Did you bring it?” He asked, knowing she is aware of what he’s talking about.
She stared back at him in disbelief. “Who do you think i am?” Chaeyoung opened her bag and took out a purple vaping pen, a cynical smile surging on her face. “Your favorite flavor, you’re welcome.”
Oliver rolled his eyes, turning back and leaving the girl on her own thoughts.
Bibi will definitely kill her when she discovers what she’s doing, this thought just persists even more each second that passes. She hates the stress that comes after her own actions, Chaeyoung lost count of the times that her parents grounded her back when she lived with them; and now, Bibi has taken the role of being responsible for her and the other girls since she became the leader, Chaeyoung knows she’s making her time harder by rebelling when they’re supposed to work together but, as always, she just can’t help it.
It’s going to be a fun night.
“What was the last time you saw him, anyway?” Sujin asked while the three entered the elevator of the residential building.
Chaeyoung remained silent, it was at least a year since she last saw Victor, Vic, as he liked being called, they met through many mutual friends and soon began a friendship of their own, that soon became something more. However, he started getting busy with his band, if she remembers, it’s called New Future or something similar, while Chaeyoung was already busy with the group’s predebut activies and they fell down, she would be lying if she said she didn’t miss him, but she wouldn’t demonstrate anything if he didn’t.
“I don’t know, like, a year? We haven’t really spoken to each other on the phone either.” She shrugged, pretending like she didn’t care. But both Sujin and Oliver knew her too well to know she did care, and that Chaeyoung wouldn’t hold herself at all.
The elevator’s door opened in a hallway, Oliver guided both Sujin and Chaeyoung to apartment 806, which was known as the band’s dorm. The music was loud and could be clearly heard from outside, it was really a party hosted by the New Future members, they were more than well-known for that.
“I don’t even remember how their apartment looks like.” She mentioned, making both her friends laugh out loudly while she didn’t understand a thing. “What?”
“Don’t lie, sweetie. We all know you have many memories here, specially in the bedrooms…” Oliver provoked, making the girl hit him on an attempt of shutting him up.
“I really don’t know what you’re talking about, Oliver, now don’t make me get started on…”
“Let’s enter, shall we?” He opened the door, which was already unlocked, and pulled the girls inside.
Chaeyoung has never seen a place this crowded in her life. She’s been to numerous house parties, that was a fact, but she has never seen something this big. It was like a dream to her, everyone having fun, drinking, smoking, making out, just how she likes it, she soon forgot all her worries about what would happen the next day, she knew it was all going to be worth it, it made her put a smile on her face.
Chaeyoung opened her bag and, in an impulse, turned her phone off, grabbing her vape before closing it. She soon took a long drag and felt the grape flavor fill her senses, she always loved the feeling it gave her, she knows she is an addict, if she can even be called that, there’s people who have it worse than her anyways, however, as a lot of things in her life, that’s one of the bad habits that she just doesn’t want to let go.
“Oh, you’re letting me have a taste of that, it’s my payment for bringing you.” Oliver said while Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, handing him the electronic cigarette and watching him inhale for a exaggeratedly long time, he loved doing everything in excess, maybe that made him worse than her, or that’s what she is thinking to make herself feel better for her actions.
“Wait, where is Sujin?” She looked around, looking for the youngest of them without any success.
“Probably flirting with the first girl she found, come on, it’s Sujin.” He chuckled, giving the vape back to Chaeyoung who didn’t waste time and inhaled once more. “And you should do the same, because i will.” Oliver excused himself to go and talk to someone she doesn’t know, and knowing him, he probably didn’t know them either, but it was not her business.
She observed the extensive living room of the band’s dorm, crowded with many celebrities and non-celebrities. She gave herself the freedom to walk around and look for someone to entertain herself with. Chaeyoung knows she’s pretty, she can even call herself slightly narcissistic, she loves to look at herself and see how pretty she always looks. She knows she effect she can have on other people, and now, she wants to use it to her advantage.
She blended herself in the crowd, dancing to the loud song that she never even heard of while inhaling the smoke of her cigarette several times. Each second that passed, she felt more and more numb, she gave herself more and more into the atmosphere, just how she liked it.
And soon, her eyes locked with Vic’s gaze.
He was watching her from the couch, a small bottle of a liquor that she couldn’t really identify on his hands. The way he looked at her from far away instantly gave her an uneasy feeling, like she was being pulled close to him, it made her enter another transe, another numbness that made her even more of an addict.
She walked up to him, not asking for permission before sitting on the empty space of the couch by his side.
“Long time no see, Celeste.” She let a small laugh out when he called her by her stage name. His voice is still as alluring as she could remember; in her eyes, he had a charm that no other man had, that’s what always made her so drawn to him, he’s not like anyone else she met.
“I could say the same to you, Vic. You forgot about me, fame really got to you, huh?” Chaeyoung teased, making him chuckle in response.
“Give me a break, as if you weren’t busy being a trainee.” He had a point, but he was the one to cut contact first, he had the bigger blame to take.
“Fine, we can be even, only because i like you.” She rolled her eyes, putting the cigarette on her mouth and dragging one more time.
“You want some? You seem to be quite bored with only that pen.” Vic slightly raised his bottle, offering it to her.
He knows too well she tends to act up if she’s drunk, that never changed. But, who cares?
“Thank you, i was wondering when i would drink a bit, it was about time.” She took the bottle from his hand, taking a long sip and handing it back to him.”And what are you doing sitting on this couch, Vic? You know, you used to be more fun than that…”
A malicious smile surged on his face, making him lean closer to Chaeyoung, staring her straight in her eyes.
“Where do you want me to be?”
“Spit it out, Jinah.” Bibi snaps at the youngest, who was sitting at the living room’s couch while the leader stared at her with arms crossed, she’s visibly upset, to say the least.
“I already told you i don’t fucking know where she is!” Jinah shouted, getting tired of the older one’s targeting and her repeating questions. “Why don’t you ask the others? It’s not fair you’re only questioning me just because my behavior is similar to Chaeyoung’s.”
“I’m asking you first, it’s different. If you didn’t notice, i called everyone to the living room, not just you.”
Jinah has never seen Bibi act so strict around her or anyone else, she was always kind and caring even when she warned her and Chaeyoung about their rebellious behavior. But, in the end, she can’t blame her for reaching this point, it’s three in the morning and Chaeyoung is nowhere to be seen, three in the morning, she’s not answering her phone, neither are her friends outside of the group, she just disappeared.
“Have any of you seen her leave or something like that?” Baozhai turns to Daeun and Jiwon, who were standing still since she asked them to come. The mood was heavy, everyone seemed distressed in their own way, none of them knew what to do if Chaeyoung simply doesn’t come back.
Jiwon shook her head.
“I’m sorry, Bibi, i was in my room since we got back, i have no idea where she went.” She sighed. Jiwon was worried, of course, but she just can’t bring herself to show her full stress in front of the other girls, even if they are her closest friends.
“I did notice she didn’t change since we came back from our schedules of today, but i thought she was just too lazy at the moment.” Daeun answered. Deep down, she knows Chaeyoung will come back an hour or another, she knows her type of behavior too well, she’ll regret everything the second the consequences of her actions come to haunt her, then she’ll do it again after being reprimanded for it, it’s a never ending cycle.
That’s why Daeun was more worried about Bibi in the moment. Even though her arms were crossed, Daeun noticed Bibi repeatedly tapping her fingers in her arm, trying to calm her nervousness as her breathing started to quicken, she saw her doing similar actions more than once, it made her think if Bibi is really as mentally stable as she says she is.
“Great,” Bibi satirized. “she could be literally anywhere! You know how she is.” She started to walk around the room, as if that would help with thinking in some manner, but she was still tense. “I told all of you to be responsible, we just debuted, we can’t be reckless. Do you guys understand why i warn you all so much? If we slip, we’re ruined!”
She stops and takes a deep breath, closing her eyes. She had to relax, her panicking wouldn’t help with anything. However, tears started to run down her cheeks. Jiwon pulled Bibi into a hug while Daeun caressed her hair from behind, Jinah hesitantly got up and couch and, too, attempted to comfort her leader.
“I know i should be taking care of it, but i don’t know what to do, we have no idea of where she is, this only depends of her.” Her tone was now low, as she still leaned in Jiwon’s shoulder. “I’ll call her again after an hour if she doesn’t come back, she’ll have to answer sooner or later.”
“It’s going to be fine, she’ll come back and everything will be fine.” Jiwon tightened her embrace, even though she doesn’t feel certainty in her own words, Daeun nodded in agreement.
“I’m going to call some other friends of her, i’ll try to help, okay?” Jinah sighed, going to her room to look for her phone.
Everything is going to be fine, at least all of them hoped so.
Victor pushed Chaeyoung into the bathroom’s wall and pulled her in an intense kiss, resting his hands on her waist while hers were in his neck. She loved the way Vic made her feel alive, the way he made her feel in control of everything. He was bad for her, she knew that too well, she lost count of the times she was warned to get away from him, but he always made her feel better than anyone else.
“I missed you, i missed everything.” She said into the kiss. “You make me feel so good.”
“I missed you too, god, i missed you.” Vic gave her another kiss on her lips. “You became even prettier since the last time i saw you.”
She smiled, her mind starting to become numb, making all her previous thoughts disappear so she could focus on this moment. She always loved the sensation of numbness, it made her feel like there was nothing happening in her life aside from good things, she didn’t have to think about any of her obligations or the things that stressed her, they didn’t matter anymore in the end.
Vic leaned down and began to kiss her neck, making Chaeyoung let out small whimpers that filled the small room. He chuckled, raising his gaze to her eyes.
“Come on, you can do better than that.” He pressed his lips onto her neck once again, they both knew that she would wake up with marks in the morning. “Show me how bad you missed me, baby.”
Chaeyoung let him make her sit on the sink, pulling her into one more deep kiss. No one would ever guess Vic is as intense as he actually is, but she knew him better than anyone, and she loved it. They always complemented each other perfectly like no one else, and that’s why she can’t let go, no matter how she tries; this life, him, it was all too good to just leave it behind because others disapproved of it.
She lifted up her shirt, throwing it on the ground and leaning to keep the kiss going; however, she was stopped by Victor.
“Are you sure that you want to?” He asked, caressing her cheek on a way of saying he’s okay with any choice she does.
“Yes, please. I want to feel all of you, please.” Chaeyoung’s breathing started to become heavy. She craved for him, badly, she wanted to feel everything she wasn’t able to feel for a long time, she wants to feel whole again. Vic smirked, taking his own shirt off while he cut she space between the two once again.
She doesn’t want to let go of this feeling.
“Chaeyoung-ah, Chaeyoung-ah!”
Chaeyoung abruptly wakes up with Oliver’s voice saying her name repeatedly, her view was blurry for some seconds before she could see clearly again. She got up and sat on the couch she was previously laying on. As she regained her senses, she noticed the sunlight shining from the window, it was already morning.
“Come on, get up, we have to go to our dorms or we’ll be fucked over.” He continued. “Come on already, Chaeyoung! Or me and Sujin will leave without you.” Oliver insisted, as the girl did nothing but stare at him, still drowzy.
“What?” She looked around, slowly realizing she was still at the band’s dorm. Then, it finally clicked.
She didn’t come back home.
Chaeyoung tensed up and started tapping every surface on the couch looking for her phone, finally finding it under one of the numerous pillows. She turns it on and the first thing she looks at is the time: it’s five in the morning, she has to leave that place fast before the members wake up and realize what she did, she couldn’t let them know.
But it was too late for that.
Her phone was blowing up with texts from all of the members, asking where she is and what was she doing. Shit, they discovered it; she thought, as if that wasn’t the obvious outcome for her recklessness with her responsibilities. Chaeyoung is stupid, god, she’s stupid. There wasn’t any way this was going to turn out good, yet she still did it without any fear, she knew she was going to regret everything she did in the morning and yet she still did it.

“Hello? Chaeyoung? Are you listening? We have to get back fast.” She left her trance after hearing Oliver’s typical whining, asking her to get up so they can both leave with Sujin, who was nowhere to be seen and was probably already at the car waiting for both of them, at least she hoped so.
“Hi, sorry,” She shaked her head, getting back into her senses. “let’s go. Sujin is already waiting for us?”
“For ten minutes already, who would guess she is responsible? But there’s no time for talking, get your lazy ass up already!” He insisted, pulling Chaeyoung’s arm in an attempt to make her move.
“Okay, okay, let’s leave.” She sighed, finally getting up from the couch and leaving the dorm with Oliver, without saying goodbye to anyone, including Vic, but she didn’t seen him anywhere in the room when she woke up.
Now, the only thing she has to do is prepare herself for what she’s going to listen when she steps her foot into the dorm.
