As far as Shinichi disappearing goes, I figured at some point this would be the situation someone knows his location and is trying very hard to keep him from doing something very stupid. “For his own good.” Honestly it was probably Lupin’s crew who happened to run into him by chance and got somewhat curious as to why A) he wasnt trying to arrest them B) He’s his actual age and C) Shinichi seems more intent on losing a trail
