Algebra chapters 1-3 today and reviewing problem sets from GDP
Starting to study for the GMAT & researching programs!
I’m trying to get an MBA with a business analyst concentration.
Appreciate any tips & advice!
What? Are these notes for ants?
(It's because I have a fear of running out of room when it comes to writing on sticky notes...)
More study notes. It's going slow... (but steady! 🐢)

I get very very happy whenever I get answers right. Like, squealing happy. Like, you wouldn't want to sit near me in the library kind of happy.
Day (I don't know) of productivity. I need encouragement badly... I started gmat studying about 2 months ago and barely started because the entire family is moving and relying on me to do the legal/realtor stuff (language barriers).
I've been on and off studying because we are moving. So this whole stress of no job, selling one house, buying another in a whole different city is keeping me away from my books. I've had no time to study. So instead of unhelpful sporadic studying I decided to redo book 1 (out of 9!) Just start all over again.
While I'm not actually relearning all of book 1, I simply made a test of every question of every chapter in the book and have been working through it all day (the scraps of precious time I can find)
Most of the study session went:
"WAIT NO. That makes NO sense"
"I don't understand this"
"8 times 4 is 32 right? It's 32 right? I can't use a calculator?!?"
"This is basic math. Why am I struggling?"
"Ahhh haha this is a trick question aint it!"
"Ahhh f*** No it wasn't. That tiny detail was actually relevant"
I need coffee. It's 23:57.
Fears for GMAT
So.
I graduated college last May with a decent 3.55
My SAT scores were 800 something....out of 2400
I'm thinking on pursing my Macc but first there's an obstacle
GMAT
One of the reasons I failed SAT so hard was because I really had no help, no references, no good teachers, and just this book that didn't really help. I worked at a family restaurant then. Studying is hard not knowing WHAT I was doing. To add to that, I was in charge of 2 phones and walk in customers. No, I wasn't given study time except for "dinner rush is over now, back to homework!"
I have a better support system now, online references everywhere, and after getting into college I FINALLY discovered this magical thing called a studyblr. I have a best friend that's gotten into an mba program. I have friends finishing theirs soon. I have a boss that's telling me to "Go for it!"
And I think I'm more prepared to tackle this test now. I'll be studying for my GMAT over the course of the next two or three months
Wish me luck! And any tips if you have any 😂😂😂 Because you can never have too many tips. They're free! (Usually)
