Today our dear Tori @dtmsrpfcringe has left us for a better world. She was loved and cherished by all, a wonderful friend, a lovely mother, a beloved wife; she was kind to strangers and friends alike. She brought so many smiles and such joy to or hearts. Without her I wouldn't have met my lovely friend @sakuranova07. And though it's true that we never got to know each other in real life the grief of her passing away is bearing down on my heart. So here's to all the things that we never got to do together. Here's to loving you and grieving you. Rest in peace darling. May she live on in our memories and in our hearts.

I cannot for the life of me understand how these people's minds work. Since yesterday I've been grieving but now, I'm just angry. Just plain old angry. Because no matter how much you disagree with someone, no matter how much someone's opinions might seem intolerable, you do not, if you are a decent human being wish ill upon them and think such things about them. Her family, her friends, her little children have lost someone very very dear to them and still you sick bastards are out there celebrating the fact that someone who disagreed with you over your sick opinions is dead. Shame on you. She did not deserve your toxicity. She spent her life fighting for those around her who were subjected to it, with decorum and with decency, never resorting to vile comments, insults or threats. And now that she's gone.... you come here with this. And expect me to somehow believe you're the good guys here. To hell with all of you. I don't regret this one bit, but I think you're some of the most awful people I've ever come across.

Watching Tori's ( @dtmsrpfcringe ) queue still running reminds me of Silence In the Library or Elif Shafaq's Ten Minutes and Thirty-Eight Seconds in This Strange World. It's like final echoes of her still breaking across the shore of life.

Been thinking about Tori from @dtmsrpfcringe 's passing.

I (Mod X here) spoke with her for the first time only a few short months ago, but it was long enough to know she was an incredibly kind and supportive person.

She had not remotely enough time on this earth, and she knew her days were numbered, but she chose to use some of the time she was given speaking out against misogynistic assholes who got their kicks from harassing and slandering women.

I think that says a lot about her as a person. Because that is not a fun way to pass the time (the harassment we have dealt with on this blog is not remotely as bad as what she dealt with, and yet it has still been utterly emotionally draining).

She leaves behind a husband, a young baby and five stepkids.

Fandom, please don't forget her. She deserves to be remembered with great respect for the rest of our lives.

It's just mental and disrespectful! If i'm not mistaken, she had a baby this year? They would never know their mother( lost mine when i was a teen, so i know how this shit hurts) and this people talk about Tori this way? Hope the family get well eventually

Yes she does have a little baby and she was also looking after her step kids. Losing a parent especially a kind loving parent is so hard. It's the kind of gaping hole that nothing else can fill.

I don't know how the family is holding up right now, but I do hope that in the coming days they find the courage and patience to cope with their grief and loss knowing that their mum will always be alive in our hearts and our memories.

It's been a week and although I didn't know her well, I miss seeing @dtmsrpfcringe's posts and reading her absolutely perfect responses to the tinhatters. We only had one interaction but she was so lovely and I hope she's in a better place now. RIP Tori
