Random dialogue scene that popped in my head.

"We really shouldn't do this."

"Perhaps."

"No really. Last time didn't work out so well for me."

Brain keeps flipping from it being flirty to being funny like two people are lactose intolerant but sharing a milkshake or competing to see who can eat the most ice cream.

How does your brain read it? Do you have any ships you think it would work for?

Transitioning from "Perhaps" to something so defensive makes me feel like character A is being pressured. Or that character B is someone high status that character A wants to impress. Since we've been talking Dragon Age: Inquisition...

"We really shouldn't do this." Dorian's staff was loose in his hand. Fear sweat made it slip against his palm. He tightened his grip.

"Perhaps." As usual, if Solas's face was carved in marble, it would have more of an expression.

"No really. Last time didn't work out so well for me." The screaming. The fires. The bodies. The Inquisitor's "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed" face.

"Knowledge comes at a cost," observed Solace neutrally. "Experimentation paves the road to all great spellwork."

And what was one life to stand in the way of greatness? Or a building, if it went very wrong. Worst case scenario, a small town. Dorian gripped his staff.

"Forward, then," he agreed.

Where is your favorite Dragon Age place? Do you have a favorite romance?

Mine would have to be Skyhold just because all our friends are there and it's home. My spouse and I have played all the romances in Inquisition and I love them all sooooo very much that I couldn't choose a favorite and I just wish you could romance every last one of them at the same time.

Skyhold is the best! I think my favorite location is probably The Fade because vibes. But since you can't really just wander around there whenever you please, probably the Storm Coast. I like an oceanic background to my fights. 🌊

As far as romances, I also don't have a True Love in DA:I. I usually just wind up romancing whoever makes the most sense for my character type in the play-through. But if we're talking Dragon Age overall, I'm team Fenris. I've romanced Isabela once or twice in DA:2 and literally no one else. Show me a wounded moral absolutist in a video game who can be romanced into more nuanced life choices and I will show you my love interest.

Can you pick things up with your toes? Do you like to wear to shoes and socks? My mom and I pick up things off the floor with our toes fairly frequently and usually find it easier than bending over, but we also hate wearing shoes or socks so not sure if it's genetic, anyone can do it, or because we go barefoot whenever possible.

Do you think hobbits would be able to use their toes like that or possibly have more rigid feet since they are very tough?

Interesting question! I do think a hobbit foot would be slightly less dexterous than a big person's foot. They have to be as calloused as a dog's paw, and that has to come at something of a cost in finesse.

I'll pick up the occasional dropped pen with my toes, but I'm very much a socks or house-slippers person. I'm not a total barbarian: shoes come off the minute I step through the door, but I'm pretty much only barefoot if I'm showering or in bed.

Anne has spent the day speaking with the curators of two art galleries, as they were interested in her work. it was a chilly day in London, and she was now at a cafe on Carnaby Street with her friend Edie. She didn’t really look when Steve entered the cafe, but Edie soon made her way over to him, unsurprisingly flirting with him.

Steve and a small group of friends were spending their afternoon in Carnaby Street. It was a chill day in London, with a small amount of fog. Dave gestured him to head into the cafe, they were chilly and a bit hungry from walking around. Steve decided to agree with his pal, walking into the cafe. After walking in, they spotted two girls; one of them approaching Steve. Dave glanced over, seeing one of the girls was flirting with Steve. He was humble to himself, yet had the adknowledgement for attracting ladies.
