Camp Digimonth Week 2-3 Updates

Jan 8-14 Digimon Survive Fashionzine - Sketch initial drafts Jan 15-21 Fashionzine final drafts Ink, colour & scan

I struggled to draft anything in Week 2 (fresh off from editing my fics I found it hard to think like a sketch artist instead of a writer) so I just worked on details for some old WIPs that’ll be going in the zine.

Nearer to the end of week 2, I got version 1 Ryo out and managed to get a last minute Shuuji on the very last day.

Week 3 was a bit easier to sketch things and I managed to draw Takuma and Minoru BUT they're not in the places I want them to be so… I also redrew Takuma into Kaito.

I didn't realise how drastically different Ryo looks from the first draft but I promise that's the same one

April Goal Update

So, at the end of March I posted my goals for the month, quarter, and year. I figured I should post something at the end of every interval to hold myself accountable. Or something like that.

April goal: Complete chapters 6 and 7 of Genki I with complete understanding of the concepts and vocabulary.

I wouldn't say I have complete understanding, but I also don't know how I'd benchmark that. I just finished chapter 7 yesterday, actually. I took a break from learning for a couple weeks because of a pain flare, so I'm having to re-practice a lot of stuff unfortunately. That being said, I did finish them. So that's what I'll count.

the supposed to be biweekly writing update posted on mondays. except i forgot and now it's tuesday! it's fine.

Uhm. Writings gone fairly well since last update. Projected progress to get to 80k by the end of the year puts me at needing to be at 5.5k words by now. I've uh... somehow gotten to 21k 😅

So writings going a lot better than I expected honestly. The real goal was to write everyday tho, haven't quite achieved that. There's been some black out dates. But. I've written more days this year than I haven't. So we'll count that as a step in the right direction.

I've started outlining the the first book of Child of Nothing, with about. 5 chapters sorted out. And a projected 15k worth of content when I actually write it. No idea how long it'll actually turn out to be. The rest of the writing's just been notes, and random bits of scenes, and some AUs.

All good progress, I'll see you all for another update in approximately 2 weeks 😅
