Fun fact time: Red, the other kit in this comic, died in a human snare shortly after becoming a soldier’s apprentice. He was the son of Creamdrop’s brother, Rustlefoot, another war casualty.

You don't often see a dragon with a goat's head, but that's what we have in the left margin of f. 213r, Ms. Codex 724, a 13th century Bible written in France. There was a drollery in the bottom margin, but it's been defaced #drollerydonnerstag

Skyshade

Allegiance: Goat's Head

Occupation: Soldier

Parents: Aaru, Hawthornship

Skyshade was born in Egypt to Aaru, an Egyptian housecat, and Hawthornship, a Goat's Head seafarer. When Hawthornship went back to Goat's Head, he took his son with him to raise in the ways of Chimera's Reach. However, Skyshade hasn't turned into the success that Hawthornship expected.

Don't misunderstand! Skyshade is a loyal soldier who can hold his own. He simply lacks ambition. He loves his life as it is now and is almost never seen without the charms his friend Plumedazzle helped make for him. He considers himself a follower of Grapedream/Dionysus, respecting the wine god's domain of festivities and enjoying the pleasures of life. Skyshade just wants to live well and doesn't care how he may be remembered.

Queen Sunfur

Allegiance: Goat's Head

Occupation: Queen

Parents: Softfrost, Breezedawn

Queen Sunfur rules the city of Goat's Head with Redclaw/Nemesis as her patron goddess. Clocking in at 5.4 years old, she's been a very capable and intelligent queen since her ascension to the throne.

The youngest ruler (although she's had her position longer than the king of Snake's Head), she took the throne shortly after ascending to heir status (better known as a deputy to Clangen readers), surprising many. Rumors float around surrounding the death of the previous queen, Clothtail, but Sunfur largely ignores the whispers and focuses on protecting her city. Currently she spends her free time visiting her young niece Mullet at the Goat's Head nursery.
