COVID aside (& the general shitshow this year has been), I’ve enjoyed a slight reduction in seizures this past year!
Okay, maybe that’s also because I’ve now increased my medication dosages for Levetiracetam & Lamotrigine but hey, I’ll take anything. Even the increase in Sertraline has helped balance things out for me.
I’m not holding out hope that “2021 will be loads better!” because it may take some time for the world to come back to normal (whatever ‘normal’ is) but I will try to make small improvements for myself. Not sure what they will be just yet, but I’ll think of something.
My best friend throughout this bizarre year has been crocheting. I picked it up last winter while my husband was away thanks to UK election stuff. It started off with tiny granny squares that came out rather weird shaped at times. The blanket came out about 30% smaller than I had anticipated. Oops. Also made the terrible mistake of not sewing tails in. Double oops!
Since then I’ve completed 7 projects and, at the time of this post, am 60% from finishing another project that I’m giving my husband as a Christmas gift.
In all of the spare time (which hasn’t been much recently), I have been able to read some fantastic stories from AO3. My current ones are both by OliveJuice28. I stumbled onto the first story: “A Thousand Words”! What’s even better is that it’s complete & has a sequel in progress called “Filling the Pages”.
I’m still regularly reading a variety of Snarry stories & am always (rather impatiently) awaiting the next chapter!
If anyone can suggest any stories, please comment (or however it works on Tumblr 😅 - I’m still a bit of a newbie after years of not really using it).
In the meantime, I’m going to continue to strive to be as much of a badass as my girl Ahsoka Tano.
