Magnus vs Goblin

I'm a great fan of Shadowhunters and, of course, Magnus is my favourite. Recently I also watched the korean drama "Goblin". What do these two tv shows have in common, you may ask? Almost nothing but both of them deal with the theme of immortality. After watching Goblin I came up with the opinion that in the occidental culture isn't credible that an immortal man, such as Magnus, experienced love with only one person in his entire existence. Indeed the warlock had previous lovers, as told in Shadowhunters. I agree with this view of love, I think that we can fall in love with different people during our life and the success of a relationship is due to external causes that can ruin or not the happiness of a couple. Instead I found that the rapresentation of love present in Goblin is more romantic and in some aspects more noble. I don't know if you ever watched this drama but the main character, wich is an immortal creature, a goblin, is almost 900 years old and he fell in love only one time. Even if, maybe, you considerate this idea absurd I can't prevent from thinking that it's an extraordinary view of love and the world, in general.
