thinking about a poor, lost little soul who was praying to god when cas took over

they asked for a sign, anything to show that god was listening. they weren’t expecting a man in a bloody trench coat to appear before them, looming over their kneeling form.

“what are you asking for, my child?”

and they couldn’t answer. they never thought they’d get this far. they’re starstruck over god in human form.

cas gets frustrated at the foolishness of humans. how dare they summon god and not have anything worthwhile to say. they are devout, however. maybe that should earn them some mercy.

when god!cas told sam and dean “once you were my favorite pets before you turned and bit me” i started running laps around my living room

dean and sam at cas’ mercy all while thinking cas does their bidding. cas comes when called, not because dean’s his handler, but because cas wants to take care of his pets.

dean likes scratches behind the ears and to be called a good boy, while sam is just happy that someone would want a stray dog like him.

cas loves them, but there’s only two things to do with a dog that bites. muzzle it, which sam and dean would never allow, or put it down.

god!cas demanding humans to kneel before him. to worship him. he’s never felt such power before and for the first time, he is limitless. no one can tell him not to look, not to touch, not to take. he can have whatever he wants and he will stop at nothing to get it. he could have all the riches in the world, a thousand virgins, whatever he could dream of. the power corrupts him
