OMG. I was looking through my webcam videos and looky what I found! It's emo tina from high school! hahah, I look so sad.

I remember teaching myself how to play guitar sometime during the summer of my junior year and beginning of senior year of high school. I felt lots of emotions and it was a way to express myself when I was going through a lot. I used to learn songs that related to me. Most of the time, songs were able to articulate my thoughts better than I could, and I guess that's why I learned them; they said things I couldn't or didn't know how to say. I remember as I learned the songs, I would cry as I sang and played my guitar because the words just resonated so much with me and I felt them so deeply (or maybe I was just a hormonal, angst-filled teenager). Either way, this is a snippet of a song that I learned and it's called Almost by Jennifer Chung. This song was a song that gave me hope. :)
