Hi My name is Renire, just wanna ask you that how do you communicate with Inari ? I always impressed with Inari when i was young, like a intuition or feeling of loving fox spirit and everything related to Japanese tradition culture. Recently, i found out the name of this, Inari Okami. And today, i know it is definitely not a coincidence at all when i found your tumblr, so if I would like to talk or workship Inari, what should I do ? Thank you in advance.
I am glad that you are finding Inari Okami, and I am glad you have found my blog <3
How I communicate with Inari is something which I cannot truly explain…. However, my usual ‘method’ is that I meditate or do breathing exercises and attempt to connect with the energy of Inari. In some cases, I will speak with my spiritual familiar Kon, or instead speak to the fox spirits I feel around my kamidana. But sometimes I will connect with Inari themselves. Whenever I do the latter, it is an awe-inspiring powerful energy. I also feel a parent-like feeling from them… This is how I know it is Inari Okami. I say this, as Inari often appears to me in many different forms - from a young woman, an old man, once a young man, a dragon, large fox-like beast, snake or simply a floating energy.
The way I receive messages is like a separate thought stream into my own. There will be words that ‘pop up’, some which I need to actually look up. A big part of this is trusting that you are speaking to Inari Okami, and not just yourself. However, talking to ‘yourself’ in your mind is also a great gateway to trusting your intuition and opening up yourself to your higher consciousness.
Sometimes I do feel doubt creep into my mind… it is times like this where I ask for Inari Okami to provide me with signs. These usually work and I feel silly for doubting myself!
At the core, it is very much trial and error, trusting your dreams and messages that you receive. Once you have connected with the energy of Inari Okami a few times, you will know when you are speaking to them in the future.
I know this was kinda vague, but I hope it helps!
