Becoming A God
The question was posed to me recently about becoming a god and who Theontos was. Those are very good questions.
I’ll start with the phrase “As within, so without. As above, so below.” Within that framework, God takes on a definition different from what most have been trained to accept.
If we say what is within us is the same as that which is outside us, and we push that idea to its furthest point regarding God, one would say that the only God there is, is you.
But then the counter to that would say, “I don’t see me in the outside world,” or “That person, place, and thing is not me.” And one would be correct in both statements.
All paths are structures for this internal and external exchange. When working “correctly,” this exchange expands the internal and external. I think of it as taking a breath. If we were to do only one part of breathing, an inhale or an exhale, we couldn’t really call it breathing. It wouldn’t accomplish what breathing was supposed to do. It would still exist, but it would need to be called something else and used for another purpose.
So, what is a God? A god is what you think it is. I know that doesn’t seem helpful, but if you will, follow me in this thought. You only know what you know and can contain what you can contain. Once your consciousness feels it has a resolution or satisfaction in its current state, it seeks to expand - it must expand. To do so, it must look outside of itself for the “other” that it sees as bigger and more expansive. And that would be the God part. So, gods are positioned relative to the consciousness that views them.
This is why we need different gods. This is why we need you. This is why when one starts working with a god, that relationship can change as you keep strengthening that bond. The names of the gods can change depending on the needs of each exchange.
Even if we are talking about the same god, we can’t really have an identical understanding of that god, because no two points of consciousness are exactly the same. Meaning no two people exchange with that deity exactly the same.
There are points of overlap, sure. There are points of assumed and shared experiences. But what we do or do not do with those points of interaction depends on the individual choosing to do something with them.
The next stage of development within consciousness would be to become, or to absorb, the thing it sees outside itself. This happens naturally and can also be sped up with focus and choice. This is illustrated when we see people morph into a group or a person through their speech, thinking patterns, looks, and ways of moving through the world. This is the idea of “birds of a feather flock together.”
The only way to know is to embody the experiences through action. Everything must be physicalized. Through the physicalization, all is known. And more is known than can be expressed.
You will eventually become the external. Or the external will eventually become you. It isn’t either-or; it's both-and.
This used to frustrate the heck out of me. But now I see it differently. It can be very freeing when you know that as you become more of what you desire, so too do elements and dimensions unlock around you for you and as you.
Sometimes the pathwork is lonely and isolating, which is why groups, friends, teachers, partners, mentors, and gods are so important. They reflect the truth that we are never really alone, even if we are isolated by a focus on a particular expansion.
And since we are creators as humans (we are not fixed elements unless we choose to be), we get to choose and create ourselves in our own image or in an image we perceive is not us.
In other terms, I would say you are the magic. You are the spell, you are the instructions, rules, and elements of that spell. You are also the answer and the conduit through which that spell manifests.
As you know yourself, as you become all, you are to others what something else was to you. In this context, you become the god.
My work here in this timespace reality is to reconnect some of these points that have been weakened through “time” and consciousness rearranging. Not that any of those paths, religions, etc. were right or wrong, just that there is a call for this part of our universal knowing to come forth again.
Theontos is a God in current human form, working these knowings out. The main purpose is to bring the idea of Deity closer to the current human experience so that this version of the human species doesn’t hide the truth it knows about itself in a way that would threaten its extinction.
Sometimes the word god is just semantics; other times it is a position and a title. That doesn’t make it real or unreal. The work works. The path leads to something else. Gods operate many times without the title, so they are accessible to a part of us that we would deny if we know the whole of who and what they are. Theontos is just bold enough to reclaim the title God in a world that has killed, destroyed, and banished many of its gods.
To pull this back around. Really, if we deny the external of us. We are denying a part of us. We can do this. There may be a good reason we have to do this. I find most deny themselves because they fear their own power and, most importantly, what they would or could do with that power. But those topics lead to more conversations not related to this post.
The action call for all of us would be to trust yourself and your chosen path. Don’t quit. Make sure you honor and follow the protocols your deity has instructed you in. Or if you don’t have a specific deity but are under a teacher, follow that. Don’t seek to just check off a list of actions without pulling what those actions represent into your being. This whole process will expand your power and, at the same time, refine your soul. I have found it a humbling process.
I wish you the very best in your search and becoming. It has been a pleasure to share with you. I trust it serves to spur you on to your next evolution.
No other animated movie can rival this
that moment in under pressure where scara spinning across the stage and repeating the “why can’t we give love” part and gaz can’t stop staring at her mesmerized because this is the girl he’s been dreaming about suddenly physically there in front of him and maybe he’s not mad after all and it’s all very sudden and real and terrifying and fantastic and
